Aureate bid goodbye to Kasumi and looked over at Pale. She shrugged and heaved a sigh.

"I guess so," she muttered. She looked over to see Kura who looked stiff. Aureate usually was irritated by people being so stiff late at night. She quickly snatched her guitar and was going to pluck a horrible, screeching chord.

"Aureate? I'll summon what ki I have left and rip you a new hole if you disturb him. He's been unpredicable lately." It was odd for him to be there, but she had yet to seen anything normal ever happen in this Clan.

Kura kept staring at the ground, his legs folded under him. at the moment, he was far away from this place, though his attention was on the aware, he wouldn't react to even someone pushing him. He simply...stared in silence. He breathed slowly, evenly and steadily as well. His mind rolling over different occurances lately. Yet not a single emotion slipped away from him.

Aureate froze and sunk back into her sitting position. "Sorry, sorry Pale. I kind of get even more weird at night." sweatdrop

"Well, maybe we can hit the pub then. How old are you?" She asked curiously, getting up from the water.

"Around 17," replied Aureate. "But then again, age is different from where I come from, but that doesn't really matter, right?" Aureate scratched the back of her head.

Kura stared at the ground in silence, his mind floating, disconnected from himself, not a wise way to be in the current situation...not much of a good plan period.

"17? You'd better hope that translates to '18 or over' " Pale grinned and summoned a warm wind with which to dry herself with.

Aureate stood up along with Pale and tightened the sash from her trenchcoat around her waist.

"Heh, that is true. I could be well over 20 when you think about the time differences," explained Aureate.

"That settles it! We're drinking buddies, and-" she stopped to look at her watch "Well, tommorow night we are. Right now someone's waiting for me. I'll catch up with you laters." wink

Kura slowly came back to reality after a long time of not moving, and simply sitting. He rose to his feet sliding from the rock and walking away. He should go somewhere now. Maybe to the wilderness? No...to the stadium. Yes...he would see if his opponent had come yet...

It took a while, trudging through the wilderness, but eventually, Rivven reached the place. A large area, filled with rubble and old ruins, worn away by weather. In it's center was a large hot spring, empty of people, one wall crossing down it's center. Quietly, Rivven went over to it, sitting near the wall, and watching the water. Slowly then, he removed his coat, folding it carefully and placing it on the ground. It was followed methodically as he removed his other garments, the chin-high necked sleeveless black shirt that clung tightly to him, as well as the similairly clinging fingerless, elbow long gloves, his loose pants, socks, sandals, and undergarments, laying each ontop the previous carefully, and then putting his dagger and chain next to them. Pointedly, he avoided his scars; more like brands. In the linking ceremony, one made symbols on the back of the one being revived, usually in ink so it could be washed clean afterwards. But like all the ones revived by his former masters, his marks had been scarred in, permamently leaving him the ritualistic marks as well as the phoenix symbol that the clan held by, covering most of his back, an ornate and complicated symbol. He also bore a set of scars in a similairly ornate symbol on his right forarm, in the symbol of a gauntleted fist, his now deceased master's personal symbol. Both marks of his escaped slavery. Examining himself for what he realized was the first time he'd bothered in months, he found his body was that of a seventeen year old boy, though he knew he was older. He just couldn't remember how much. Constructs didn't age at the same rate anyway. With a relaxed sigh, he slipped into the warm hotsprings water, reaching out of habit into it with his chakra, stopping even the smallest ripple from spreading. He walked about waist deep into it, enjoying the warm, cleansing water. Slowly he leaned against the wall, relaxing, and nearly falling asleep. A good way to avoid the thoughts that haunted him, if only for a short time.

Slow breaths. Deep breaths. The water lapped lightly against his chest, as he sat in the quiet, fallen asleep in the warm waters, but still with much of his sense intact. It was a quality one picked up as an assassin, and it remained useful even when you no longer were. Stirred back to awareness and his echoes of memories, he snapped his head around to where he'd heard a branch snap nearby. He was unhappy to have come back to those remnants of old memories, but he wasn't going to complain. By the edge of clearing, a branch fell from the large bow it had been on, and a tall man, black hair hanging down past his shoulders, stood on it watching him, a spear rested across his back nonchalantly. "Well, it seems your as sharp as the rumors had you if nothing else, Arberus. They're not all that happy that you've left us. I guess I'll have a tale or two to tell." He blew at his fingertips, and a small black spec rose up from them, than took off in a striaght line away. "Whatever that thing is, you'll be sorry it wasn't you who went to tell them where I am. I've never even heard of you, who ever you are." He glanced at the crimson coat the man wore, gold trimmed, as were his pants, though the rest of his clothes were black. A phoenix insignia marked the shoulder of his coat; only constructs were branded, living humans simply wore the symbol. "I can understand them sending someone insignificant on reconasianse, but not to fight. You should run." He sat still in the water, waiting to make sure he had enough time before he reached for his weapons, still atop his clothes. "Run, Arberus? No, I'm afraid I've got no fame as you may, but I'm quite capable. I'm here to take you back, alive or dead. And you know if you're dead, they'll just bring you back up again to serve them. Shame you can't just die in peace, hmm?" Out the corner of his eye, he caught another shape move, and he stood immediatly, not bothering to go through the symbols as he let out his chakra. Water he controlled almost by nature, though he did need the symbols for most else. Even as several more copies, identical to the man appeared; doppelgangers, though that didn't mean that any particular one must be real; the water rolled violently and tendrils of powerful, steaming water shot out like striking serpents, nocking the men against the trees with a force that audibly cracked their ribs, and all the men dissappeared, leaving only the voice, coming from deeper within the forest. "Nice try, Arberus, silver demon, but you'll have to come to me..." The voice said mockingly. Rivven, decided, he wouldn't let the man leave, even if whatever he'd sent would probably get the message back eventually. Hurriedly pulling on his indergarment and pants, attaching the sheathed dagger to his belt and wrapping the chain around his waist, he ran into the wilderness after the man, chasing the quickly fleeing voice.

A man cradling Rayne in his arms appeared by the springs in a flash of light, and he gently set her down across some smooth rocks. He crossed his arms and looked at her with concern. 'How could this happen? You can hardly even move now. I just hope you can recover quickly. You can't go back to them....you'd only get hurt even more. It's better if come back to Siminar Tre' now, where Kinn and I can look after you better.' the man thought to himself. "Atleast you're now active. It'll take some time, but you should be back to normal in a short while." He finally said aloud. He sat quietly near the springs, as if to wait for someone.

Even though she didn't seem to be with it, something lifted her from her current resting spot to know be sitting on the rock. "Where am I?" She asked in an unclear tone. She looked to her right and saw... Kasai. She went to yell out to him, her voice being cut short for her voice wasn't up to tone yet. So, she whispered, "Kasai? Are you here to take me back ?" He would usually never come after her unless that was the case... and at this point, that very well might have been it.
