It is not overly sweet, though it is sometimes tart, depending on the kind, Tatsumi said, taking a deep breath and a sip of his water. He stared at the table as he swallowed his water, waiting for the desserts to come.

Loki finished off his glass of wine just as the waitress returned with a decent sized platter filled with tiny plated desserts. She also refilled his glass and took away the other plates. He then looked at Tatsumi, curious as to what might be on his mind. "So, what to try first...," he said while looking over the choices infront of him.

I am not sure, Tatsumi said with a small smile, looking over the small desserts with a slight sparkle in his eyes. He put his hands on the table as he looked up to Loki, giving a shy smile. What do you think we should try first?

Loki looked up at Tatsumi then back at the small desserts. "How about I pick something for you and you can pick something for me? I've always found that little game rather fun to play," he said with a small grin. Picking up a small fork, he took off a piece of what looked like a tart of some sort then he held it up to Tatsumi as if wanting to feed it to him.

Tatsumi laughed softly, blushing a bit as he tugged down his scarf a bit more, parting his pale lips so that Loki could feed him if he wished, his eyes down on the tray as he picked up what looked to be a small, round brownie, and held it out to Loki in the palm of his hand.

Loki let him eat the piece of tart before looking at the small brownie-like object. He smiled then picked it off his hand, popping it into his mouth lightly. "Nothing better than chocolate, I swear."

Tatsumi chewed slowly on the tart, tasting it as throughly as he could before swallowing. It was a bit too sweet for my liking, too much... he said, biting on his lip. So you liked what I picked for you, then?

"Too sweet? Mm..I could see that. My cousin's sister makes proper tarts. Not too sweet but never dull." He then grinned and licked his lips. "Oh yeah... Chocolate's the best. My favorite might be dark. Do you have a favorite chocolate?"

I like dark chocolate as well, I get that from my mother, too, my father appreciates many sweets, but he has a very prominent liking for milk chocolate, I believe, Tatsumi said with a small smile, his heart kind of pulling upon mentioning his father. He put it quickly out of his mind before letting his apple green eyes scan the dessert tray once more.

Loki stuck his tongue out a little. "Milk chocolate's okay...but I can't take too much of it." Picking up a small dark chocolate square, Loki looked it over. "Shall I see what's in this one or would you like the honor, sweetheart?"

Sweet...heart? Tatsumi repeated very lowly with a small blush. You go ahead, he said with a nod, spying what looked like a chocolate covered strawberry, his hand inching towards it before he looked to Loki, as if silently asking if it was okay that he try it.

Loki tilted his head, wondering if Tatsumi didn't want to be called that. It was more of a habit than anything else. "You can go ahead and have that one," he said when noticing him eyeing the strawberry. He then bit into the chocolate and smiled slowly. "Bonbon. I should have known."

Thank you, Tatsumi said, taking a bite of the fruit. He sighed softly through his nose, his eyes glossing over as he mentally melted. This... is so good, you must try it, he said, offering the large strawberry to Loki, his small bite barely noticable in the large size of the treat.

Loki looked up at the strawberry then at Tatsumi. "You sure you don't want the whole thing? Or at least a bigger bite? I feel like I'm being greedy over here." He chuckled lightly before licking the chocolate off his fingertips.
