More slowly now, Raine pulled the weight sup to his chest together, sometimes alternating between techniques and pulling them up from his side to outstretch his arms. Soon he was staring off into the wall in front of him just going on with what Tsuyosa said to him. He looked over at the man circling his gym and than to Lavi laying on the pull up bench. 'Hey Lavi, how about some of that history stuff" raine said a bit winded.
The older boy looked up to Raine."Eh okay, where'd you leave off?" Tsuyosa stepped over though looking especially growly.
"What's this you're doing? he needs to focus." The man stood over Lavi and in between them both. The older boy sighed.
"He just likes to listen to me talk about history when he trains. All yesterday he listened to it on my ninpod when he was doing those crunches." Lavi looked up, he sort of felt in the mood to teach as well. Tsuyosa frowned as well, but nodded and went back to his inspection. Lavi smiled up at Raine.
"I was at the part about culture in something about trens between 600-1400ce."

Lavi nodded, and Raine kept lifting his weights, finding news ways to lift them that helped relieve the ache growing in his arms and work his different muscles. "Distinct artistic and cultural traditions were developing in each major rejoin of the world. The civilizations possessing the greatest degrees of scientific knowledge and cultural sophistication were china, the Middle East, Japan, and Muslim Spain. Europe underwent great cultural development, especially during the Renaissance. China and India exerted a tremendous cultural and religious influence over their neighbors, Buddhism, Hinduism, and art and architectural styles spread from these countries to Southeast Asia, Korea, Japan, Tibet, and elsewhere." Tsuyosa listened to this from the other side of the room, it sounded like seriously high quality knowledge, and he wasn't regretting letting Lavi speak.

Raine stood staring at Lavi his finger turning white around the weights. He was still so tired, his head began to ache, and he could barely concentrate on anything Lavi was saying. Still he just pulled the weights up again and again. That was about all he could concentrate on. The Suna heat was getting to him as well as he worked along. "the Middle East played a large role in spreading knowledge, scholarship, music, art, and architecture to North Africa and Europe. Middle Eastern Cultural influence on medieval and Renaissance Europe was considerable."

The boys talked for a while, Raine always pumped his arms, soon they were aching and he struggled with bringing them up. it had only been a few minutes as well, he couldn't imagine even five more minutes of this agony. Tsuyosa stood in the back of the room, listening to what Lavi was saying, thinking about the information. It was actually quite interesting. He even forgot to check on Raine so much. The boy wore an expression of exertion, but he pulled the weights up one by one instead of both at the same time now.

The boy worked hard, sweat formed on his brow, and he struggled with every attempt to set the dumbbells up on his shoulder, and let them drop back down again. He turned them a different direction so that his elbows were bent outward at his waist and he brought the weights up on the side of him. Taking deep breaths with each time. It was hard to heard Lavi, he knew it was sort of a bad idea now to ask Lavi t teach him. He was too busy working on his own, but who knew what the rest of the day was going to have in store.

"Travelers.." Raine heard lavi go on, but his breathing overpowered the voice, and Raine could only stare down at the floor. It had been a good long time now, and his arms ached as if he had been training for hours. Never before had he had this equipment, and he was so young. The exercise was hard and tiresome. Which didn't help in the early morning, he chanced a glace up at the window. Light glowed in the darkness of the streets, but no one yet walked through them, and the sun was still far away. He was grateful for this, hoping they wouldn't have to go train outside later today. Tsuyosa checked up at the clockon the wall and stopped Raine. "Okay, time for some sprints." He smiled walking out into the sparring room.

Raine set the weights down, and followed after Tsuyosa, "Hey you said I wouldn't have to run, if I didn't hurt myself!" Raine argued not looked forward to running, a Tekkenseisai could never trust their legs.
Tsuyosa didn't bother even looking down at him, he stopped at the black edge of the fist. The design on the floor would be perfect. "No I said you'd have to run if you hurt yourself." He smiled at how cruel he was, but it had to be done. Ever Tekkenseisai needed to learn that to be complete they couldn't always rely on their fists. "Time for suicides, See those marks on the clan symbol." He pointed out at the line large lines representing fingers. "Fist run to the closest and back, than to the next one and back, and than to the last one and back. Do this until I tell you to stop." Lavi followed out a bit pouty because everyone had just excited on his lesson. he remembered having to run suicides in the academy. Oh the agony.
Raine sighed deeply, before setting his feet at the edge of the black line and ran to the first line and back.

Raine hated running more than anything in his entire life, and here he was sprinting as fast as he could. Already he felt tired, he hated sprinting. Tsuyosa even knew that he couldn't use his legs like he could his arms, it just wasn't right. The boy got back to the front and turned quickly to run to the second line, he was there in back in no time but already feeling drained. Raine started breathing heavily as he ran.

He kept moving as fast as he could, making the long stretch to the end of the gym. His arms came up near his chin and his knees lifted high up off the ground, his legs and lungs burned as he finally reached the edge of start of the routine, he slowed toward the line. And Tsuyosa didn't let this happen again. "Faster! Come on you're running like a little girl! How do you ever expect to become a ninja if you can't even run around a gym!" he growled like a bear, and Raine picked up the pace wanting to get farther away from the threatening predator behind him. Soon he had to circle though and he quickly ran as fast as he could to get away from Tsyousa. This was exactly the man's point in insulting him and stood stern faced looked threatening.

Raine gasped for breath as his foot slapped the stone on the last black line. Never before in his life had he run a suicide, and he never wanted to run one again. Raine slowed ever second he could, trying to plan ways to slow down without Tsuyosa seeing him, but soon there was only breathing and pain. His lungs screamed as loud as Tsuyosa and Raine just watched the few feet in front of him. Hating the long stretch at the end that he could barely manage.

He heaved in great gasps of air flailing his arms, and trying to keep his knees as high as they were before. Lavi giggled to himself at how funny the smaller boy looked, while the master Tekkenseisai stood, with a blank expression watched and analyzing his body movement. "Keep your feet up! Keep arms moving! Tt will get more blood to your body." He almost barked from the side lines, as Raine approached him, his face turning a bright pink with the effort.

"Only a few more, keep going!" Tsuyosa thought about letting the boy, stop after all he was going to be working him hard for the rest of the day. Before he could learn anymore jutsu he needed to get much stronger... he thought for a moment about teaching him A Thousand Years of Pain. It was such a foolish jutsu, he had never even bothered to learn it himself.
Raine heaved again and again, great deep breaths of pain. This was torture, he could only think about how hard he was trying to run, even if he could just jog it would be so much better, but no... he had to sprint. gonk

Raine starred at the line, he was running to. His gaze bobbing up and down with each step. He was going for the long stretch, every muscle pumping in his tiny body. His hair flipped around over his eyes, finally he reached it. and Raine took a gulp of air, and he stopped shortly to turn around going for the sprint back. He pushed himself as hard as he could. Grinding his teeth before sucking in deep gasps of air. He reached the starting point once more and went to go again. But suddenly he felt a hand pull back on his collar, and he tripped forward, almost choked. He turned to look and found Tsuyosa's huge arm holding him. The small boy heaved for air grateful to finally have a break even if it was in the grasp of this man. "That's enough, Now for some pushups."

Lavi frowned in sympathy for Raine, this was going to be a long day. Outside the sun was finally starting to rise though, and the sun broke through the window a bit.
Raine still gasping for air, took a few second walking around with his arms raised above his head. A trick Heisei had showed him about how to breath more easily when you were working out. After finally getting himself together, the boy looked up at Tsuyosa, who pointed to the ground. Raine sighed once more, and slowly kneeled setting himself up on the ground. He liked push-ups much more than running though. He lifted himself up off the ground, and started a pattern. Up, down, Up---, down, up, down.

Raine forced himself up again and again, his arms screaming. They already were nearly dead from the weight lifting. He simply looked down at the floor and watched it get father away and closer again with each push-up. He welcome the burn, however much this all hurt, he knew he would be stronger after. The sun leaped over the window and broke onto his fingers spread on the stone. He smiled a bit still breathing heavily.
