Aidan laughed a little. "It'll take a lot more than Loki to do me in," he joked, adjusting his friend's bandage for him.
"Wow, one of the heroes, huh...but are you sure?" The tactician tilted his head slightly, narrowing his eyes. "It does look really bad." But Lance fighting a hero--a ridiculous, cinematic picture formed in his brain--must've been a pretty impressive sight! "I wish I could've seen the whole fight, though, Lance!"
His laugh was more genuine this time as he returned the salute. "Aye-aye! I'll do my best! Make sure you rest up and stay safe, all right?"

Sue again continued to be lost in thought. She stared into the sky... pondering way too much probably. But when people didn't talk to you, that gave a lot of room for contemplation. So much was going on in her mind, to be honest...
Who do we think we are? It's so easy to say that the Heroes are conquerers, they stole our home, our children's hope... all of it... but really... we're not much different.
We're stealing their hope. We're stealing their home. We're stealing everything... we're just as bad as they are!
If not, worse, they came here first. Those lands are theirs... and we call them home? We... 'accidentally' kill the one that was their dearest comrade... and we call it a victory?
None of it was right, and Sue knew it. Her father would be very ashamed of her using her birthright, Myulgre to steal the precious ones from others! Thinking of it more, she laid the weapon down, staring up at Andre as if to find an answer from the steed. Horses don't talk.
And what would he say? He'd probably say the same thing as everyone else! The murderous 'protectors' called the Watch, the Crew, the members. All the same, and no one questioning that they're too hurting others!

Lance smiled in a melancholic way at Aidan. If only what I said was what I actually thought...
Lance nodded a thanks to Aidan as he adjusted his bandage, before he spoke back again. "Really, don't mind it. I think part of it is Blossom going bananas and not being a hypochondriac in my place."
He considered telling Aidan all about his fight, but decided against it. He wasn't sure he'd take well to it. Instead Lance replied to Aidan's last line with a hearty chuckle. "Pfft. What are you talking about! Life isn't fun if you play it safe! Better to take risks and enjoy yourself, I say!"
Lance grinned with his eyes closed. "Not that it matters, though. I can't really do anything other than stay here. Now hurry along Aidy! Blossy and everyone else is waiting for you! Let me have a reason to brag about being your friend later!"
He now tried hurrying Aidan along. It wouldn't be long, now...

Boredom was quite boring Hatmon had to admit. Everyone was so busy getting ready for the impeding battle it didn’t look like anyone would be willing to give her the time of day let alone a few moments to talk. So she thought until her eyes fell on a thinking nomad all by herself. The fox was unsure of what to do among all these people anyway, what with them all needing to prepare and Hatmon always being ready for battle. The nomad didn’t look like she needed any more time to prepare, so Hatmon decided to wander over and see if she could get the girl to squeeze out a few words.
“Hello, miss, lady nomad,” Hatmon purred as she stared at Sue’s face; her own probably being a bit too close for the girl’s comfort. Luckily, she had already transformed back to a human form, so she was as about as odd as the average laguz. “You look like you have something on your mind. Plan to keep it to yourself, or might I help you relieve some of you concerns?”

After a while, Roy woke up. He didn't recall tripping and falling asleep, but apparently it happened. He slowly got up to his feet and dusted himself off. What was he doing before...? Oh yeah. His Mother had run off, and he was about to go bring her back before he tripped and fell asleep. He had no idea where she had run off to, and if he left to find her, it would only cause more unnecessary commotion.
Well rested now, the young lord went over to the supplies wagon and looked around. Swords, lances, axes, bows, tomes of magic and staves...they had everything. Except for magic swords. A pity. Maybe he could get a staff user to cast Hammerne on his weapons so that they'd last the next few fights or until he could get new ones.
The redhead took a trio of elixers and slipped them into his bag before leaving the supply tent. It seemed that something was being discussed, but there was no point in entering the conversation, not when he had no idea what was happening. And look...there was FD with Nils, and they were...
Ew.
Roy looked away, and wandered around a little, eventually finding Sue with her horse. It seemed as if there was something on her mind. He could tell this much, having travelled with her during the war and learning a bit about the war.
"Something troubling you Sue?" he asked, looking at her.

Moving over to the supplies wagon, he went and picked up another killing edge, as well as a lightbrand, then taking an elixer. This should do here.
Moving off, he chose to follow Sue and Roy, since he had no idea who else would be able o work well with.

Sue had pushed Hatmon away by instinct, in her own way telling the fox to give her some personal space. Then, she saw General Roy as well, the both of them asking the same question, what was on her mind?
She sighed, facing the new new companions she now had. One of them she knew as a friend and comrade in battle... and the other... she didn't know. A stranger.
They wouldn't judge her, right?
She sighed, shutting her eyes, gathering thoughts of what to say. Might as well spill it.
"General Roy... and... you... whomever you are." the second bit of her speech made the nomad's gaze direct to Hatmon. "I've been thinking that what we're doing is wrong. We're the conquerors... we're the villains. We're inflicting that same pain that our enemies gave onto us... back to them. We're just as evil as they are... we have no right to fight this battle. None at all. We lost once, so we should just give up... and not take away any more precious people... to anyone. Before I said we shouldn't lay down our weapons, but that's because I never thought of them. They're people, you guys. They're just like us... we... have no right at all to strike them."

"Finally, I'm finally got out of that damned forest," Shinon muttered to himself. He looked ahead and saw the red head Roy talking to Sue. Shinon headed for the supply wagon and slipped an elixer and refilled his 3 quivers full of arrows. He also picked up a brave bow.
Thank you, I'll just be taking these.
Shinon headed towards a tree and leaned up against it.

Hatmon giggled out of habit. Sue’s reaction amused her, as others had in the past. It wasn’t the first time she had stuck her face close enough to another’s as if she was about to kiss them. She would never kiss them, but she wasn’t about to let them know that. It was fun to make them think she just might do the deed if it pleased her enough to embarrass them in such a manner. It was rare to have it happen, but that was not to say it never happened.
Her fuzzy black ears twitched in response to Sue’s voice, pleased that the girl had not decided to simply ignore her. It was then she noticed the red haired fellow. They were such lucky people to have such odd hair colors when Hatmon was stuck with boring ‘ol black because of alchemy. “You could call me Hatmon, dear.” Because they two of them had decided to say each other’s names, Hatmon had learned them both and saved the trouble of having to ask.
“Think of it not as evil, think of it as justice. Not to mention, who is to say that we’ll lose a second time? I heard you weren’t well prepared last time, but this time you have fresh supplies and fresh allies. Now is not a time for such weak thoughts. Do you honestly they would just let us live after we have challenged them? They are not what you think they are, I’ve heard the legends, but I lived in that time their legends where born. Stand firm to your beliefs lady nomad, and the truth will show itself.”

"But those beliefs, now that I've learned what war truly is capable of... and I was foolish to believe that those wyverns I shot were just targets! I made widows... I made orphans... and yet.... so did they." Sue spoke of all her guild that she had hid inside her, her voice coming close to cracking. It was unusual for the stoic nomad, whom was usually able to keep her cool.
"What truth is it? What truth could possibly make me stay on the path that would bring carnage to more people? Cause use to take... their precious ones from them? Eyris... was never ours for the taking... for the claiming. We... shouldn't fight so hard for it and yet... I yearn for battle. I long for the day we can re-take it, and it feels right. I... more than anything want to rescue Rei. Wherever he is."

"Those words are true to most of us miss. Yet, right now would we rather stay out here, where we can only get so many supplies, or would we rather be ovr in that city, with the castle, and everything else? Right now, I think is the time where we go to retake our lost place. I may not know as much as most of you, though I do have an idea of what it feels like to lose someone...it hurts badly, though in the end you get past it, and you live another day. I believe there is someone that needs you...this Rei you call him. Would he enjoy to see that you are back here, doing nothing to go to his side and save him?"

Octavio jumped up on the rock where he had given a speech before, suddenly. People might be led to wonder where he came from. Where he had been for the last bit of time. He smiled a bit. "Alright, everybody looks great. I'm ready. Who's ready to get rid of Loki once and for all?" He called to the camp.
He glanced around at everybody.

John rose up and looked toward this man and shouted, "Who ever you are! I am Ready to follow you! Sir!" as he saluted him as he slung his bow over his arm and awaited orders from this stranger.

"Sir?" He looked at the man, embarrassed. "Octavio will do fine, thank you." He jumped down and walked over to Lt. John. "We're going to be heading in that direction... In for the battle of our lives..." He had pointed towards the mountains. He looked around. "When everybody is ready..."
