"The first is to retrieve Rei's crystal so that she can transform and also summon the sacred fire. The second is Hotaru-chan." She nodded towards Hotaru with a knowing look. "Hotaru has said that she is pretty sure that Mistress Nine is behind the pains she has. She is in a constant struggle with Mistress Nine as we speak, and is trying to take her over once more."
Setsuna looked at the ground for a moment. "Usagi...she must also be protected, since this queen wants her crystal."
Setsuna henshined quickly, within a radiant flash of light. Grasping her staff tightly within one hand she looked at her fellow senshi. "Mixing up our tactics would be the wisest thing. Outer with Inner."

Makoto henshined as well in a green flash of light. "So basically, every Inner has to pair with an Outer?" She asked.
Nicholas' outfit materialized into his armor. Now known as Nephrite, he put a fist to his shoulder respectfully towards Pluto. "I will protect my liege and the princess." He promised, his eyes glimmering.

"That's the idea, Mako-chan." Sailor Pluto said to Sailor Jupiter. "Seiya and Rei, you stay in close contact with me." she said with a nod. "Makoto and Nicholas, you are to keep your eyes mainly on Hotaru. If any of us get separated, report immediately back here to this shrine."
She then turned to Rei, looking her in the eye once more. "Now is the time to make absolutely sure you've told us everything you know, especially before we head out, Rei-chan. You know the importance of it."

seiya transformed in the blink of an eye and stood behind rei and put a hand on her shoulder to comfort her.
"rei, everything will be fine"fighter said with a smile.
"i hope so, for everyone's sake and usagi-chan's as well"rei said quietly.

Jupiter smiled. "Don't worry, Rei!" She said, giving the 'victory' sign. "We'll be okay, and Usagi can take care of herself, remember." She said, looking at her friend. "We've gotten through the heart snatchers trying to get our pure hearts before, we've gotten our dream mirrors targeted. This is more serious, but I'm sure we can pull through."

Hotaru turned her head away from the others when Setsuna mentioned her name. I am ashamed to be so helpless...Hotaru thought. Hotaru sighed, "It is true we must protect Usagi...but how can we protect her if we have a target on our own backs.?" Hotaru questioned,

Walking past the shrine Taylor heard the last part of the coversation at the shrine. 'That's one of the girls from earlyer' she thought to herself 'Maybe I can help and make a good impretion of myself to them; even if they are a little different than most girls Iknow.' She steped into veiw of all at the shrine and spoke loudly "If you want to protect some one while you are in the same situation why not try doing it from afar? Keep out of sight of those going for your friend to take them out and keep yourself on gaurd from those that after you at the same time."

Hotaru slightly jumped when the young woman spoke. Hotaru sighed calming herself down. Hotaru then narrowed her eyes at the woman, why would she want to help? Hotaru shook the thought out of her head, Hotaru knew better then to judge before really knowing the person first. I havn't ever done that before...Hotaru thought. Hotaru then heard a dark laugh in her mind, I know you want to break free Hotaru, but I have almost all your mind that I can control your emotions very well! There is no point in trying to defy me. Then Mistress Nine's voice faded away in a awry cackle.
