Tonas ((.... I had an entire paragraph ready for Klaudnir, assuming this was an actual fight, but since you seem to want the "I win" button, I'll leave it out. You're not supposed to be able to in a fight just say "and they got away" without any effort from those involved. It's a form of god-moding called puppeting. It's like saying, "I win, so there.")) ((I was just planning on kidnapping Edge....You got Sei's arm so it's not like I'm all powerful.. btw..it's called 'running away', not 'I win'. ))

It doesn't matter if you're running, healing, fighting, hiding, taking a dump, I don't care, if you do something that somehow affects others, then you allow their actions to have a chance to occur. I could have said, "And Lieutenant Bauchos' shot soared in, striking the dragon in the throat, crippling it and sending it crumpling to the ground." and it would have been on the same exact level as saying: "And the dragon blew fire down, then they flew away." EDIT: Deimon, please correct me if I am out of line. If I am, then I'll quit worrying about the finesse and just deal with it.))

((I won't press the issue any further unless Deimon feels the same way. Sorry if I get upset, but it is extremely irritating when you prepare a long post then someone throws in a "And then we did this and that's it.", i.e. puppeting.))

Sora took off into the sky pursuiting the dragon after Delaine broke a whole in the barrier, His magic was strong enough to bash through any barriers she could throw at him... not easily but he could, and with them both in the air she couldn't use edge to fight him... and with her dragon in a weakened state she wouldn't be able to stop him from following her. "I will let you know where they land!" Sora shouted down to Delaine, as he followed the dragon.

Sei glanced back and saw the boy, she couldn't push her dragon to go faster due to it's wound. Looking at the amount of blood it was losing she could tell it wasn't going to live much longer, but seeing as they were over the Fyrlandt desert she could call another dragon or just walk to the palace.

Sora followed at a steady pace, he flew higher than them so that he could watch them from above, but other than that he had no intention of attacking quite yet because he didn't know the girls skill level, but he knew something about her kisses gave her the ability to control people so he had to stay far enough away to avoid that. He just flew behind her about a hundred feet behind.

Delaine could only nod as she watched Sora fly after Sei, hoping that he will return safely. She turned to see the Noswaldian squadron again. "Leave." She said, knowing that she didn't want to say anything to them at the moment. Allouette didn't want them to recognize her as one of their own, so she decided to cut any further contact with them. "Frost Spike." Another series of spikes rose from the ground and surrounded the Geo-Fortress, making a wall. With that she turned to go back inside, determined to get those alarms to work and set up defense mechanisms. I should have done that earlier... She thought, scolding herself. Maybe if she had attended to that instead of loitering around Edge would still be here...

((I should have put it up, but me and Sei were meant to get away without interference.))
Edge watched Sora as he flew high above them. He was high, but not out of eye sight yet. Edge was making sure that he didn't draw close enough, for if he did, he would strike the boy down. His master would hopefully be proud of him. He turned his head towards the direction of Fyrlandt's capital.

((Should've mentioned that before I went "Advanced RP" nuts on her. Apologies Sei. First rule of the RP is still to follow the creator's orders, which trumps the usual finesse.))
Battered and wounded, the Noswaldian troops looked to their leader for support.
With a deep sigh, he looked to the now surrounded Geo Fortress and ordered his men to fall back. They would need to alert the Emperor personally of what had transpired here.
"Bloody hell..." Klaudnir said as he gazed upwards. He began following the girl back into the fortress to meet with the others.
"Delaine, was it? I dunnae know if ye recognized her, but that was one of the ruling powers of Fyrlandt... If we're ta get Edge back, we're gonna need some serious help. The half dozen or so of us here would have as much affect on the Fyrlandtian army as a rock against the side o' a wall."

Delaine turned to Klaudnir, a serious expression on her face. Right now she felt horrible and wanted to blame herself for what had just happened, but knew better. If she broke down now they would lose time, and that wouldn't help their situation one bit. "Yes, I remember who she is..." She had a brief flashback to her childhood, recalling the stories she heard from her parents and elders of the Fyrlandtian leaders. How they were nothing but savages and how the fight against them was worth it. "I understand what you're saying, but we don't have much time."
Delaine lifted her hand up on her sword, looking at the eccentric blade. "Edge isn't the only Heritor...Klaudnir, do you think you can teach me basic skills in swordsmanship?" She asked, turning to the dwarf. She knew that she had the upper hand in magic and her yumi, but she wanted to go after Sei with every possible advantage in a short amount of time. "We also need to get the defense mechanisms here set up..." She looked briefly to the computer.

((My bad too...I forgot that only me and Deimon talked about the kidnapping.)) The dragon was flying at a steady decline and finally dropped to the ground, breathing heavily. Sei huffed in anger... she liked this dragon and she didn't have healing skills. She rubbed the dragon's snout for a few minutes as it died. "..damn Noswald fools.." she looked at Edge "Let's go Edge, the Palace isn't far from here." she led the way toward the palace.

Sora swooped down as well, he didn't land because he would be incredibly vulnerable on the ground but he would stay about 50 feet above them as he continued to follow.

The aged dwarf priest gazed at the young girl with a wary eye.
"A second Heritor? I'd thought such tales were only rumors. The legends only spoke of one Shining Force... Unless.."
He paused for a moment and his eyes widened with realization.
"O' course! How did I not see it before? Lass, the Shining Force is not just the name of the blades, but the people who follow the Heritors! That is why there is only mention of one blade in the legends but they refer to it still as the Shining Force! Y'know what this means? We do still have a chance! HAHA!"
The dwarf practically hopped for joy as he returned to a more solemn tone to address the girl again.
"Teachin' ye how ta wield a blade isn't that difficult, but what is difficult is understandin' how ta let the blade become a part of you. I'll guide ye when we have the time to. Fer now, we need ta focus on gettin' this place active an' gettin' on finding a way to rescue the lad afore its too late an' that harpy wench bites out his bleedin' heart... Oi!"
He called to the wolfling and centaur.
"Ye two, this ain't an order, but a request, since the two o' ye are the fastest o' the lot of us, ye oughta go an' see if there are any resistance groups within the neutral villages and settlements in between the two empires. The more help we can get, the better chance we'll have."
