Ninian exhaled, torn between keeping her son in her sight and letting him do what he so clearly wanted to do. Really, she'd only just become a mother, but she was already having to let her son go. What an odd day this was.
"No, don't let me stop you," she said, deciding. "If you must, then go. Just--come back safe. Okay?"

Roy smiled softly and opened his eyes to look at his Mother. He was thankful...thankful that she was letting him help the others. But he was also a little sad, for it meant parting with her, even if it was for a little while.
"Thank you..." he said softly, before he leaned up to kiss Ninian's forehead. "I'll come back safely...with everyone else."
He then got up and looked at Canas and Ephraim, who hadn't gone either.
"Take care of everyone here in my place..." he said softly.
He then hurried down a path, before he slid to a halt. The sounds of combat were in the opposite direction. He sighed before he turned around and raced towards the battle.
((Somewhat short...but meh. >>;; ))

Fire Dragon awaited the deer Nils had lured to approach them even closer before transforming with the intent of slaying it. It had been such a long time since he'd transformed for hunting purposes and seeing the doe triggered something within him once he transformed. He let his instict take over as he clawed the animal's side with a slash of his right paw. He'd have proceeded to tear it apart with his own teeth had the impact of his strike not knocked the animal over the rough terrain, already dead.

Uncle Canas "Yes, yes of course," Canas replied with a smile. He knelt by Amara and watched her draw. It reminded him of Hugh, and it made him smile. He leaned back and took out a tome, beginning to study it. He devoted himself to the study of magic. when he studied it, he could forget everything. He needed that right now.
But this time it didn't work. he sighed and set the tome back down, turning to this strange man, pacing back and forth as if waiting for something. "I don't believe we've met," he said, offering his hand. "I am Canas."

Fire Dragon would have transformed back into his substitute shape to take his kill, but his heightened senses compelled him to to react to the strange energies coming from the forest. He'd not sensed them in his substitute form before, but transformed it was impossible to ignore. Had he transformed sooner for his kill, perhaps he would have reacted to it sooner. He would be late, but hopefully not too late.

((Uh, I'm not going to read through all those pages, so hopefully, this is okay.))
Miledy would have volunteered to head off with the group to fight, but seeing the injured reminded her of the days in Roy's campaign and how they had protected Guinevere.
The wyvern lord was not about to let the injured be more injured. The red head sighed as she dutifully stood watch. So, stay it was and to hope for the best for those that had left.

John has been walking around the woods for some time now and saw a small group sitting down. He decided to walk over and keep his bow drawn incase something were to happen.

Blossom had no idea what to do. She didn't know if Aidan was safe, after panicking and running to get help without thinking of him, nor Lance, whom had been similarly forgotten in her haste. Were they alive? Had they been injured? Had... had the morphs taken them down...?
Oh St. Elimine, let them be okay...! Please! Blossom sat down hesitantly near Canas. She didn't speak to him, just kept her eyes on her toes. I shouldn't have run off without them. I could have gotten healed later. But I left them behind, and now they could be dead... just like before...
Blossom listened to the soft sounds of the remaining guild members' footsteps and tried not to think about Aidan dead, or Lance dead, or anyone else being injured and dead. She shut her eyes tightly, and when that only made things easier to imagine, she opened her eyes again and focused on the grass.

John crept up slowly behind a small 13 year old girl by the looks of it and her parent. He then put his bow down reached his arms all the way up and yelled, "BOO!" in hoping to give em a little laugh during these serious of times.

Blossom was still trying to talk herself away from her nerves, gripping the hem of her skirt tightly in her gloved hands. She wasn't exactly calm at the moment, and while John might have had good intentions, his 'joke' was not well-received.
"AAAAAIE!" Blossom all but shrieked, falling forwards and tumbling onto her back into the dirt. She spluttered and coughed, pulling herself up to her knees with a sneeze. Now she was nervous, scared, and she had dirt up her undershorts and in her hair. Blossom drew her sword immediately, panicking. Was he with the morphs?? She said nothing, just stared at him in panic, long broadsword gleaming just slightly (where it wasn't covered in drying blood) in the dawn's light.

Ephraim was so lost in thought, he didn't have a clue on who came, who stayed, and who left. Are they ok? Alive? Un-harmed? No, unharmed was out of the question..most likely they were going to come back with cuts and bruises and there was no way around that. He stopped pacing for a few, tapping his foot on the dirt before turning his heel and continuing his impatient circle until...
BOO!
Ephraim jumped a little and turned, raising a fist and forcefully connected it to that of the man which had startled him and possibly others, in the cheek, allowing him to skid back against the dirt. "Oh Sh-" stopping himself from cursing and reminding him that a child was still near before he decided to let out any foul language. The guy seemed harmless since his bow WAS on the ground. Ephraim flailed a little and ran over to help him up. "I'm really REALLY sorry" feeling bad that the tension around had caused a small reflex of his.
(( I got permission XD! ))

"WaugghH!!!" John yelped as the sock from Ephraims punch sent him back into the tree dazed and confused. A second later John picked himself up and dusted his pants and vest off and stated bluntly, "Well that hurt." while rubbing his fave and putting his bow on his back.

Blossom didn't drop her sword yet, watching John with wide, nervous eyes. "Who are you? How'd you get here?" she demanded, her angry voice ruined by the nervous squeak running through it. Blossom gripped her sword tighter. She took a step back, but she didn't put the weapon down. She glanced to Ephraim, then back to John.

"Woah woah easy young girl. The name is Lt. John Arceni. Some weird door took me here and i cant find a way back. So far you people here are the only people I have run into." he said so that the young girl would put her sword down as he grabbed his bow just in case something were to happen.

Blossom stared at John, her gaze wary. Some weird door... The Door? Did he come out through the actual Door? There's fighting going on over there... wouldn't he be injured or somethin'? Or did he appear somewhere else? Blossom hesitantly lowered her sword, pausing before thrusting it into the dirt and letting it sit there. She rubbed her hands together and adjusted her scarf instinctively, letting it sit closer to the skin of her neck. The natural comfort helping her relax, Blossom nodded very slowly to John. She didn't move away from her sword, though, and sent a glance Ephraim's way, as if to make sure the nobleman hadn't left her alone with this man.
"All... all right, then. I'm Blossom. Blossom Riddicks." She didn't approach him, though. She still felt too addled, and she couldn't stop thinking about Aidan and Lance. They had better be okay...!
