Kiri blushed and scratched the back of his head nervously, "It's like I said earlier, I'm not sure how this is supposed to work. I think I'm still a little nervous." He felt strange, he hadn't felt like this before and he wasn't sure what he was supposed to say or do or react.

Anne mouthed the word 'oh' and looked down. She didnt want him to feel bad. She looked at her book and flipped through her diary. She finally landed on one page. It was her birth-certificate. Or at least it seemed that way. it had the regular, name, time, place, but one thing made her frown. She looked at Kiri. "Kiri... what does the word mutation mean?" She asked, pointing to her 'father'.

Kiri frowned as well, saying "It means that something that is 'normal' changed due to a mistake in the way it was made. Why?" He looked at the page she was pointing at. He decided to explain a little further, "Technically, almost everyone here is a 'mutation' of some sort. Skully is an obvious example, but someone like Alec isn't so clear. Does this make sense?" He looked down at her and looked at her with a quizzical look in his pale violet eyes.
(I've been meaning to mention that for a while, the part about his eyes.)

"oh... then what does this mean?" she said, pointing to a paragraph.
Mother used fake crystallization to become impregnated. Resulting in an mutated child and a very slim life for it. the chances of this child for making it past 13 is 1 to 100. If child does excel past that time frame, the 'abilities' inside it would demolish the personality, making the child mentally ill if possible. Child must be killed when powers go out.
Anne smiled at Kiri and waited for his answer.

Kiri read it and frowned, it didn't make sense to him. Anne wasn't meant to live past 13, that made no sense, she was 15 the last time he checked. And the part about that she'd go crazy was odd too, she seemed fine to him, a little bit odd, but mentally stable at the least. "I'm not sure, this doesn't make sense to me. It says you would go crazy if you lived past 13, but you aren't and then it says you should be killed when your powers 'go out', whatever that means." He scratched his head in confusion, thinking, who would want to hurt Anne, she seems fine to me. A little odd, but aren't we all...
(I got to go, there's a thunderstorm coming and it could crash my computer.)

Anne shrugged and laid in her hammock bed, letting it rock gently. "Do you think im cute?" she said, looking at Kiri. she didn't understand him and her mind was hurting from not asking questions. "Do you like me? how much? Why?" She said, soon asking questions like it was all she ca do. "Do you like it when i kiss you?"

Kiri was a little thrown back by her sudden barrage of questions, but managed to answer each in turn, "Yes, I think you're very cute. I really like you, and it's because you like me and I feel a connection to you as well. And I do like it, but I'm not used to it yet." He smiled down at her and made a flock of his butterflies to surround them.

 Talus spent the rest of the morning wandering around the camp site, helping set things straight and trying to keep spirits up, though most of the workers were not in much of a mood for his comedy. He did stress to each one however that they not complain about it to any of the performers, and though he did not name Anne specifically they all had a good idea who he meant. Talus eventually found his way over to Lucifren's carriage, knocking on her door with a bony thud, "Luciiiii, I'm hoooome!"

Anne sighs and gets out of the hammock, going out of her tent after her failed attempt to sleep. She looks over at Alec's tent and looks at the ground, heading to breakfast. Hopefully she wouldn't meet up with Alec right now. she didn't feel like destroying or hurting him.

 Alec just sat there, his face in his hands, for god knows how long. He groaned, standing up and pulling on his turtleneck sweater. His stomach was full, but he needed to walk and think, so Alec exited his carriage. Keeping his head down, he strolled blindly into the woods. The sun wasn't up yet, but it didn't really make a difference because he conjured two balls of flame that whirled around him to light his way. Now, time to think.

Anne saw Alec leave his carriage and decided to follow him. She followed the light, hovering about the trees. her cat sat perched on a stump and looked up at her, meowing. Anne tried to make the signal for the kitten to be quiet, but it only got louder.

Alec was in deep thought when he heard the meowing. He slowly turned his head to see Anne and her kitten perched in a tree. What was she doing here at this time of day? "Oh, uh, hi..." He mumbled.

"Did my friends wake you too?" She asked, petting the kitten softly. "I'm sorry if they did. They usually only destroy my room." she said, pointing to the colors dancing on the river. She raised her hand as 2 figured outlined in water rose, dancing in the flowers.
