 Out of the corner of her eye, Mika saw Daina looking a little blue. Excusing herself from L and Adam, Mika went over to see what was troubling with her friend. "Daina is something wrong?" Mika asked concerned. Tonight was suppose to be a fun night for everyone and even though this wasn't her party Mika wanted everyone to enjoy themselves.

L smiled when she figured out the gift. She figured her gifts were a little much, but she hadn't been able to decide which one to give her. She laughed when Nikky and Mika teased her. "Shut up, you have an awesome gift it doesn't matter how you got it." She stuck her tongue
out before turning around and walking away. She noticed Daina's mood the same time Mika did and walked over there just behind the other girl. "Yeah what's wrong Daina?"
Adam smiled at Nikky. "Yeah they were but I had a sister to help. Glad you like it." He returned the hug before walking away so Mick could give her her gift. He was just happy Mick actually came. Adam wanted to go find Mitsukai and hang out with her, but in the back of his mind he wanted to go find Kora. It was probably just because of her powers, but she did have some beautiful eyes. So with his hands shoved in his pocket he went off in search of the girl.
Mick blushed when Nikky's jaw dropped. "Uh .. Yeah. I hope it's not too much, I wasn't really sure what to get you and it seemed to fit. You strike me as a girl who loves diamonds. Hope I'm not wrong." She felt awkward now, not sure if Nikky's reaction was a good thing or not.

Thorne was relieved that Nikky liked her gift since he really didn’t know what she would like seeing as he just met her earlier that day. Taking her not so subtle hint, he moved from the line that seemed to be forming to congratulate Nikky on her birthday and give to the ever growing pile of presents. Walking over to Daina, Thorne saw Mika had arrived. Well, that was at least one person who hadn’t seen his breakdown from earlier. Nodding in her direction in a form of greeting, he noticed her concerned look. Worry coursed through him as he noticed L wearing the same expression.
Immediately, his eyes flicked to Daina. She seemed downcast and not at all in the mood she should have been in for a party. “What’s wrong?” Thorne asked concern coloring his voice as he unknowingly repeated the question for a third time. Thorne had always been protective of her. The fact that they shared a similar gift made him want to shield her from life’s troubles in response to how he had not been as a child. So, thinking the first thing that came to mind, “Is it a guy?” Thorne looked distrustfully around the room as he ‘casually’ wrapped an arm around her shoulders protectively. Looking down at her, he tried to reassure in one of the only ways he knew how, “Just tell me who it is, and I’ll beat him up for you…ok?” He murmured as his brow wrinkled in concern.

Nikky grinned at Adam as he walked away, returning her attention to Mick. "Yeah, um, wow. This must have cost alot." Nikky said as she examined the necklace further. "And of course I do, haven't you heard? Diamonds are a girl's best friend!" She said with a smile. She sat the necklace back in its case and gave Mick a hug. "Thanks!" She then turned to Cadence, and blushed at her compliment. "Thanks, really, I don't think I am that good..." Nikky said.
Daina pulled her hand out of her pocket to find that she had gripped her keys so hard that she had cut her skin, deeply. She wasn't worried though, with Mika, L, and Thorne watching, her hand healed itself, very little blood. She looked up at the three. "No, Thorne, it isnt a guy." She said with a small smile. "Its just that someone else also got Nikky a charm bracelet." She said, opening the box her present was in, and showing them. "I'll just get her another present." She said, stopping a tear before it came out of her eye. She cheered up abit when she noticed Thorne had his arm around her.
Cadence gave Nikky a huge hug. "You underestimate yourself, chika." She said with a smile. "You are an excellent artist." She told Nikky in full confidence. "Now, where is that cake?" She asked, looking around in anticipaton.

Mika let out a sigh of relief. Was that all? She was worried it was something a lot more serious. "Daina you know Nikky will love whatever you give her," Mika said encouragingly and it was true. Nikky was too sweet of a girl to hate any gift her friends gave her. "Besides you know Nikky could never have enough charm bracelets. That girl loves her jewelry."

Thorne relaxed with relief, when Daina admitted the problem was not a guy. He really didn’t feel like making a scene at someone’s party, and beating up a guy would be so…troublesome. Her problem, however, was so much more innocent than that. Running his free hand through his hair, he let out a big gust of air. She seemed to be really upset by the fact that her present was the same, but Thorne was thankful that it was the most of her problems. Someone as good-hearted as her shouldn’t have to go through anything more dramatic than that. “Daina, Mika’s right,” Thorne reassured smiling down at her, “Don’t beat yourself up over it. Nikky will love the gift.”

    Oh and hunny; i love you♥ [[ I am VERY disappointed with y'all. Just because i was gone for 6 days does NOT mean bearly post.! Y'all only posted a page in a half in the past week. Next time i go on a trip and no one post i'll close the roleplay OR kick some people off; understand? I'm about to send private messages to people who have not posted once while i was away. ]] Mitsukai Kanji Mitsukai walked along the party. Seemed as if everyone was having a good time, and that was amazing. Mitsukai walked to one of the chairs right in front of the screan and stood on it. "EVERYONE! ATTENTION!" Mitsukai called and everyone gave her attention. "Okay we're goingbto sing happy birthday to Nikky." Everyone joined in and they all sung happy birthday. "Okay now the movie is going to start! There are 9 seats reserved in the back NO ONE can sit in aless Nikky tells you to sit there; okay! Now find you're seats." Mitsukai said and smiled. She then walked to Thorne. "Sit by me?" She asked and walked to the second to last row and sat down tword the middle, then waved Thorne over. [/ Joseph Douglas JonesJoseph found himself a seat on the top row, next to the 8 seats reserved, but not on them. He'd love to sit near the birthday girl, and it was pretty obvious she'd invite Mitsukai, L, Him, maybe Adam, Diana, Candas, Mick, and Mika. NO doubt. So he sat near the area, not being invited yet. Joesph looked at the screen that said Happy Birthday Nikky. It was nice, and was going to change in a few seconds.

"See even Thorne agrees with me and that rarely happens," Mika grinned. "Now I don't want to see anymore sad faces from you Daina ok?" Giving Daina another reassuring smile Mika left to go find a seat after hearing Mitsukai's announcement. Mika chose to take a seat near the reserved seats for Nikky. Ya know, in case Nikky decided to let her sit in one of those reserved seats. "Hey bud, haven't seen you all night," Mika said sitting next to Joseph. "By the way, thanks for the thunder storm. It really helped with my prank earlier."

Nikky blushed as everyone sang Happy Birthday. When Mitsuaki said that she had reserved seats at the top, for her to pick who would sit by her, she smiled and rushed up to the seats, creating a big bag to put all her presents in to tote them up to the top.
Once she found the middle seat, she organized the seats into whom she wanted to sit by her. She went to The first seat in the row, and started calling out names. "Cadence, Mika, L, Joseph, Me..., Mitsukai, Thorne, Daina, and Adam" She said. She smiled as she returned to her seat, waiting for her friends to sit in their designated seats.
Daina shrugged in agreement. "Yeah, I suppose so...At least mine has room for other charms, and is the opposite color." She said with a small smile to Thorne, Mika, and L. When Mitsukai called Thorne away, Daina fought to keep a smile, and won.
Upon hearing her name called, she headed up to the top of the theatre, and sat in her seat, waiting for Thorne and Adam to sit on either side before she got too comfortable.
Cadence made her way to the end of the top row. She sat down in her seat, her phone vibrated in her pocket. It was a text from her boyfriend. They had been shaky for the past few weeks. Cadence had finally told him about her powers, and he wasn't taking them so well.
She read the text many times over, and still couldn't believe it. He broke up with her, via text. She bit her lip, forcing it from her mind, she was at a party, and no matter what she was going to enjoy herself..

Devon waited. Really, he did, but really, if Milo had gone into a trance or a seizure or something, then Devon wasn't really interested in being around anymore. Plus, the cafeteria was closing and they were still in there. They would probably be scolded, and he wasn't too keen on being admonished condescendingly. "Well, my fellow traveler, I fear that I must now leave thy company and venture off back to Moria," he said sadly, standing. He folded Sarek and put him back in his laptop bag, threw his trash away, and with a final bow to Milo, headed back to his room. Where there was absolutely nothing to do. He'd tried reading, watching some sci-fi on Hulu, playing with his Lord of the Rings action figures, but yet nothing seemed to keep his attention for long. Lying on his bed, a David Drake book open and sandwiching his cheeks, Devon tried to think of anything else going on. Well, there was always that party Mitsukai was talking about. It wasn't really his scene, but hey, movie theater equaled candy and hot dogs. Overpriced candy and hot dogs, but still candy and hot dogs nonetheless. Maybe that would make up for the crappy movie. But wait... wasn't it for a birthday party? He didn't have a present to give... whomever this party was for. It was probably a girl, though. Hmm...
Devon's mind reeled with ideas of things he could make as he searched around his room for take-apartables. Alarm clock, that was good. Ummm, there was a smoke alarm in the ceiling. He could use that, too. But what could he possibly make that would be of any interest to a teenage girl? Sure, he could make a taser, but that didn't seem like something a girl would care about. Well, it was a radio, so it had music-retaining capabilities... yes, this would work. About fifteen minutes later of breaking apart and piecing together, Devon finally had a functional mp3 player and locator. The mp3 player held around 10GB of music, and the locator was also a keychain in case she lost it. It wasn't a great gift, but it would work. The locator also worked as a USB port so she could download music off the Internet. Surely this was sufficient.
Once done, he put it in an unused DVD case, hoping it sufficed as a present box (since he didn't have one on hand). But he should probably shower now. His hair was a hot mess, and getting hotter underneath the skull cap. He'd have to shower to get the static-yness out of it. Make it lay flat again. Or, well, mostly flat. As he stripped and started the shower, he glared at the water. Being a technopath, he had an inherent aversion to water. He didn't want to get wet. Finally, after standing there butt naked for about five minutes, he took a deep breath and jumped in. A quick rinse with shampoo, and he jumped out two minutes later, shivering in revulsion. Cruel and unusual punishment, he viewed bathing. He dried off quickly and redressed.
Right. Theater 15, Mitsukai had said. That wasn't too far, right? ...Just in case, he printed out directions, nabbed his skateboard, stuck the present in his laptop bag next to Sarek, and headed out... into the rain. Crap. Water. He sighed, took a deep breath, then ventured fearfully into the downpour. It lasted the whole time he skateboarded there, feeling distinctly like it was doing this to him on purpose. Still, once he arrived, he told the movie... guy that he was here for the, ah, party. An eyebrow was arched at the redheaded boy who was sopping wet, but he was let in anyway, directed to the correct theater. But this soaking wet thing was not on. Good thing his laptop bag was waterproof, he thought, as he shook off excess water. Hm. Ah, there was a heat vent. Palms pressed into the wall, and he made the heater unload on his full blast, drying him out in about five minutes. He quickly finger-combed his hair back into some semblance of tame before entering the theater.
Now... who did he give this present to? Well, everyone was handing them over to this girl and it was put into a pile. But he felt awkward. Everyone seemed to know each other. They were all friends. He was an outcast, of society and of school grounds. Still, he boldly placed his present on the pile before escaping, hopefully unnoticed. Well, he wanted to hit the snack stand anyway. He ordered a hot dog, a pack of junior mints, and some Mike&Ikes, his personal favorite. And, to wash it all down, a cherry coke. The movie theater was the one place he could get cherry coke, and he piled all this in his arms. But... he was not really interested in rejoining the party. The birthday song chimed through the doors, and he half-smiled, taking a seat against one of the walls of the theater lobby, tearing into his Mike&Ikes. He'd go in in a minute. Surely.
(( oh, and i've bolded the parts of the paragraph that are relevant to what's happening. so if you dun wanna read the other parts then i wouldn't be offended. ))

Too late, Too late, you can't try to resolve the past right now.
But I swear I'll be the one… A loud call of attention brought Thorne’s notice to the front of the theater where Mitsukai was currently standing on a chair. She seemed fully in her element as she led everyone to sing Happy Birthday, though Thorne didn’t exactly sing. He just uttered the words with rhythm. He felt no bad will towards Nikky. It was just that Thorne didn’t sing for just anyone.
After the song, Daina seemed to be feeling a little better. Thorne smiled relieved that they had been able to perk Daina up. There was no need for her to be unhappy that night. Thorne felt certain repulsion to the thought of her being downcast when there was a party, especially since this was basically their last night of freedom considering school started the next day. Upon hearing Daina’s concession to being cheered up, Thorne leaned down till his mouth was near her ear and whispered, “Well, I think your’s is better anyways, but…don’t tell anyone I said so.” Thorne smirked slightly at what her reaction would be to the sudden closeness, before pulling away.
At that moment, Mitsukai asked Thorne to sit next to her. Responding with a short, “Sure,” Thorne squeezed Daina’s shoulder lightly, before removing his arm and ambling towards where Mitsukai was waving to him. Thorne sat down next to her and grinned her way, “Well, you certainly seem to be having a good time.” He commented lightly just a little confused why she wanted to sit next to him. He thought for sure that she would have wanted to keep her distance after receiving all his memories. Really if he had been in her situation, he would have run the other way.
I wonder if she still has my powers, he thought absently as he stretched getting comfortable. He really didn’t expect Nikky to pick him to sit near her seeing as they were only introduced earlier that day. So naturally, when she did, he was mildly surprised. He stood up lazily, “Duty calls,” he remarked to no one in particular. “Let’s not keep the birthday girl waiting,” Thorne voiced to Mitsukai as he realized that they had been placed near each other.
Because Thorne was too lazy to walk all the way around, he adeptly climbed over the back of the seat. Losing his balance at the last moment, Thorne landed heavily on his chair with a huff. But luckily for him, he had landed on his chair the right way so he hadn’t looked too ridiculous…he hoped. Looking to his left, he noticed Daina. “Oh, hey,” he said giving a crooked smile, which added to the comedy of his previous fall. ...To let the world know what you've done.

Oh and hunny; i love you♥ Mitsukai ( Angel ) Kanji Mitsukai smiled at Thorne, thrilled he sat next to her. "Yes-sir-ie. I'm having a ball" She said and smiled with Niky assigned her seats, still next to Thorne. And no Kora! Perfect seating arragment. Mitsukai climbed over the seats, but when she saw Thornes trip she giggled, and tripped herself. Blushing she got on her seat and looked at the screen, frowning that her banner was now replaced with previews.
Mitsukai looked over at Thorne, very pleased he came. She was wondering if Archimedes will come, hopefully he will. MItsukai didnt think that was his real name though, he had to have a easier name. "What do you think if i start introdusing myself as Angel, since Mitsukai means Angel in Jappenese?" Mitsukai asked Thorne, wanting second opinions on her idea earlier.
Mitsukai looked at the screen, and relized she hadnt gotten any snacks. Mitsukai didnt want to get up. "Joesph, be a dear and please get me some gummybears and orange vitamin water?" She asked giving him her puppy dog eyes. She smiled when he nodded sure and walked off. "Yay." she wispered to her self, she adorded her bestfriend Joesph. Oh and speaking of bestfriends, where was Minron (jake)? She wanted to see him, since she hadnt seen him in ever. Hopefully they had the same classes.
Mitsukai grinned when Joseph returned with her snacks. "I love you bestfriend, thanks." She beamed. She handed him 8 dollars, about the price of the snacks then turned her attention to her yummy goodness. "Want one?" She asked Thorne. Joseph Douglas Jones Joesph was getting up to sit where his assigned seat was. "No prob." He smiled, he'd ask her what she did later. He almost made his way to his seat when Mitsukai assigned him snack duty. "Sure." He mumbled and walked to the snack area. He saw the same boy Mitsukai was talking to earlier here. Joesph nodded hello and got Mitsukai's requested snacks. Along with some gummy worms and a sprite for him. Joesph returned to the theater and handed Mitsukai her snacks. "Your welcome, thank you." He mumbled when she said thank you and handed him with the cash. Joesph put it in his pocket and watched the previews, taking note of movies he's have to see later.

Hearing Nikky call out her name, Mika wasn't all that surprise. Taking a seat Mika greeted Cadence. "Hey Cadence, I haven't seen you around." Looking to her left Mika saw L hadn't taken her seat yet. "Hey L you're sitting next to me!" she called out from the back row.
