Shadow_of_Shadows "Indeed...Lets..." Hand in hand, we walked off within the moutainous terrain, looking for a place to lay our heads. As we walked and walked, my ears began to twitch. It was to the fait noise of water churning. "...You said you wanted somewhere near a lake or something, right?" "A waterfall, with a pool.....but it dosent need to be.....", I said looking at him. I smiled and began to relax.

"Hm...Wait here a minute..." With that, I released her hand, quickly scaling the side of a cliff wall--roughly two kilometers straight up.
When I reached the top, I came upon a small area filled with mountainous trees. Hastily, I rushed through them, entering a small, barren area. In it, there was a fairly large lake, surrounded by foiliage and trees. Upon that lake, water rushed down in tiny streams from higher cliff walls.
I looked about. "...This is interesting..."

I wacthed him climb the wall and rush away. "Come back quickly", I said smiling, even though he was long gone by then. I looked around and scanned the tree line. I put my hand on my sword I could hear rustling and the sound of footsteps. I jumped up and hid into a tree. I bit my lip watching carefully for what might just be some creature walking in its home, I did not, however, wish to be found by it.

"Hm...I better go and get Runa...Hope she's alright..." With that, I darted off towards the cliffside.
When I reached it, I leaped off and free-falled all the way down. As I collided with the ground, I slammed my feet heavily into the dirt as to bestill myself.
"...Runa...?" I looked about. No-one in sight. "...Where'd you go...?"

I jumped down from the tree and went over to Kang. "Sorry...I heard footsteps so I hid", I siad looking around. "Did you find anything", I asked.

"You did...?" I then titled an ear outward, listening closely to our surrounded. "..I hear...nothing. If there was anything around here, it's gone now..."
I then looked about and sniffed the air to just take precaution. Again, I found nothing at all.
"Anyway, I found a place above the canyon, here." I pointed up upon the recently scaled cliffside. "Hop on my shoulders once more...I'll get us up there..."

"Yeah, I'm sure." I walked up to the cliffside, readying myself. "Just that I'm going to go at a slower pace...Don't want you to fall off or anything like that..."
With that, I began to scale the wall at a far more reduced speed. Hand over hand, I carefully scaled the wall on a fixed pace.

I held on tightly to him. I looked down and bit my lip holding him tighter. I pushed my head agiasnt his shoulder and left my eyes closed. Though I trusted him, I did not like hanging off a cliff.

Eight hundred fifty meters...
Eight hundred meters...
Seven hundred fifty meters...
Closer and closer I came to the ledge on top of the cliff wall. Although my strength is unmatched by any human, I was suddenly growing weary. My body was beginning to feel numb.
"Ugh...! What is this feeling...? My body...It's...It's dying on me...! Sh*t...! I need...to keep moving...for Runa's sake..."
Seven hundred meters...
Six hundred fifty meters...
Six hundred twenty meters...
Six hundred meters...
Suddenly, I stopped. Breathing heavily, I sank my claws and feel deep within the rocky ledge. Sweat was dripping from my brow; my body steaming.
"Sorry...for the sudden temperature increase...We're almost...there..." I took my spear and then stabbed it deep within the stone wall; easing myself upon it. "Here...sit next to me...Don't worry; this spear is of special metals...It can support us both..."

"I.....I can climb", I said not really thrilled about the idea and rather frigtened but I would for Kang's health.

I climbed onto his back my head buried into his shoulder, "please....I know you can do this....If need be, I will carry you after this....but please don't give up", I whispered into his ear.
