Enya tightened her grip on Karoku with her legs, her arms shifting from his shoulders to wrap around the front of him so that she wouldn't lose balance. She was a bit confused about what he had been about to say, but she also knew that she couldn't ask now, or even later when they were back in the main cave with Fenrir... She let out a long sigh at the thought of Fenrir. It would be funny to annoy him now, but it would be hell to live with him later; and since she had no where else to go but with Fenrir, she was pushing things a bit by screwing with him.

Karoku leaped over some debri in the way and soon entered the room with all the maolna; including Fenrir. By the look on his face, he wasn't too pleased either. Karoku knelt down slightly to allow Enya to get off, then stood up, nodded towards Fenrir, and walked off away from everyone, going back into solitude as he preferred at the moment.

A low snarl left Fenrir's throat, and for a fraction of a second he thought about picking a fight; but then Enya sneezed. It was on purpose, but it was enough for Fenrir to switch mental modes again. "What the hell happened to the two of you?! You're soaked!" He yelled loudly as he moved to Enya, more worried about her than his brother, yet somehow including Karoku in his protective mode as well. "I should've told you before I left, but there was water in the cave..." Enya replied quietly as Fenrir scooped her up like a doll and carried her towards the fire. "Yes, yes you should have," He agreed, a particularly gruff tone to his voice. "Karoku! Get over here too before you get sick!" He called towards his brother, though most of his attention was solely on Enya.

She felt a spike of pride go through her at the way Fenrir was taking things, it was obvious he was annoyed, but he wasn't letting it bother him... now she just needed to seal the deal. "I slipped and fell in, if Karoku hadn't have followed me to make sure I didn't get lost, I would probably still be stuck in the water right now." She explained to him and she looked up at Fenrir, smiling slightly. With those words Fenrir completely forgot about the fact that Karoku had been alone with Enya, the both of them were soaked, and they had clearly been in physical contact; he was just glad the two of them were alright, a sentiment that confused him for a moment sense he had previously thought he was only worried about Enya.

Karoku's ears twitched slightly as he sat behind a rock, out of anyone's view, staring out into the rain. He lowered them slightly as he closed his eyes and crossed his arms, ignoring Fenrir's demand to get near the fire. He would be fine and he didn't feel like moving. He felt ashamed that he had been thinking of actually kissing her, when his brother had a thing for her. He chuckled silently to himself and tilted his head back to look up at the cave ceiling. Such was how his life went. Never the winner, always the loser. His pack wouldn't be with him for much longer either, especially because of his newest curse. If others hadn't been sleeping, he honestly could have started laughing uncontrollably at the amusement his life held for him.

Starting to get annoyed again, Fenrir left Enya so that he could go yell at his brother in person. Enya took the opportunity to quickly run to her sleeping bag and strip off her wet clothing and change into something dry; there was no way that she would be caught changing by anyone, and she wasn't sleeping in damp leather and wet undergarments all night either. Outside, Fenrir paused at the entrance of the cave and sniffed, but couldn't find Karoku's scent due to the rain. "Look, I'm not mad at you if that's what's got your panties in a twist, so come in and warm up. You're the one who invited us in, not the other way around." Fenrir spoke aloud, not knowing if Karoku was nearby to hear him or not.

Karoku watched Fenrir as he stepped near the entrance, sniffed the air, then yelled for him. The fool couldn't even detect him. He was right behind the maolna, still sitting against a rock. He chuckled slightly, giving away his position and closed his eyes. "Like I'd give a damn if you were mad or not. You should know that by now." Karo stood up and walked up next to his brother, staring out into the rain. "You're foolish, Fenrir. Look at me, the one eleven years younger than yourself, telling you that you are a fool. Why do you act like a tough guy anyway? You afraid of being hurt or taken advantage of?" Karo lowered his gaze and shook his head. "It's obvious how you feel for her, but you are too damn stubborn to admit anything." Karoku lifted his hand and swung down onto the back of his brothers head, hopefully leaving a lump in the process. "Moron..."

Fenrir snarled and was sorely tempted to snap at Karoku regardless of weither or not he was in human form. "You have no idea what's happened since I left home, you have no idea what it's like to be me, either..." He growled lowly, but he forced himself to take a deep breath and let it out slowly. "I don't want to talk about it, either. It's obvious you've done a lot since I left, anyway..." He fell heavily to the ground and crossed his legs, glaring out into the rain with a low growl in the back of his throat. "Besides, Enya's nothing more than a rather useful tool..." It hurt a lot to say that, but he was glad that she couldn't hear him say it. "The only reason I'm still looking after her is because she saved my life and because I can use her to help Khonsalach. It's obvious she likes you more than she likes me, anyway." He snarled over the last sentence, hating it, but if there was one way of hiding it was by creating distractions.

((Hope you don't mind the auto-hitting. Only do it for stuff that isn't real combat.))

Karoku gripped his teeth and clenched his fists. "A TOOL!?!" He yelled before he lifted his leg up and slammed it against Fenrir's face, knocking him far back. He pounced on top of his elder brother and raised his fist up, readying to punch him. "YOU ARROGANT SONUVA b***h!!!" He punched Fenrir once, knowing he could take the damage. "You're the damn tool!!" He grabbed his shirt collar and pulled him up a little. "Say it again!! Say she doesn't care, that she's just a ******** tool!!!" He roared before striking his fist down next to his brother's head, one that reached about a foot into the ground, making a tiny crater upon impact. The others in his pack had awakened and were staring at the scene in awe. An assassin had actually struck the prince! That's what they believed, still ignorant of their relation. "You're pathetic..." Karo scowled, looking disgusted as he glared at his brother. He pushed Fenrir's torso back down and stood up, walking off into the rain and disappearing from sight.

((I don't mind. Makes it more dramatic.))

Gritting his teeth to keep himself from digging a deeper hole, Fenrir laid there and stared up at nothing, feeling about as low as an omega's belly when it grovels before it's alpha. Of course he had deserved it, of course he didn't mean a single lie he had told his brother, but he still deserved what he had gotten for saying it. Fenrir shouldn't have been surprised to see Enya run up, looking frazzled because of the yelling, but he was surprised that she stopped instead of running after Karoku; surely she had heard the yelling? Surely she understood what Karoku had meant?

Still, Enya had stopped and had knelt beside him to make sure he was alright, something that made him feel worse. "You just rub everyone wrong, don't you?" She asked him in a quiet voice that was slightly amused but hiding a deeper amount of hurt. 'So she did hear that...' Fenrir thought to himself, but instead he only jerked his chin upward, motioning where Karoku had gone. "Go do that nice thing you do and make him come back?" He asked her, and for a moment Enya considered telling him no, but then she nodded and ran off into the rain. 'I'm just going to get every single set of dry clothes I own wet today, aren't I?"

A dark aura enveloped Karo's hand, making it seems as if his claws had extended. He swung his hand at a tree, letting the claws of energy rip right through it like butter. The rain pelted him, bringing his hair down over his eyes which were full of anger right now. He pulled his arm back and slammed his fist into another tree, shattering it, but breaking the skin as well, making him bleed. He looked down at his hand as the rain washed the blood away.

'I'm going to get very sick, very very sick.' Enya thought to herself as she splashed through a mudpuddle on her way after Karoku. She was somewhat annoyed by the fact that not only was she once again wet, but she was wet, dirty, and barefooted because she had, once again, failed to think things through. At the sound of splintering wood, however, Enya knew she was right on course, 'I wonder if they have any idea just how alike they really are...? I probably shouldn't bring it up. It would most likely just piss the two of them off even more.' She wondered to herself as she spotted Karoku up ahead. "Oi!" She called out, trying to get his attention, but mainly because she couldn't think of anything else to say. She was feeling rather awkward about, well, everything.

Karo heard a voice and turned his head, ready to attack if it was the wrong person. His face loosened slightly when he saw it saw it was Enya, but it still showed signs of anger. It wasn't going to be easy getting over what Fenrir had said. He snapped his fingers, forming something close to an umbrella over Enya so she wouldn't get more soaked than she already was.

Blinking a bit more rapidly than normal from surprise, Enya looked up, a little confused about why she wasn't getting rained on, but knowing that Karoku did it she looked back down and smiled at him. "Thanks," She said happily, pushing aside her annoyance and hurt for the moment. She continued walking until she was a good five feet from Karoku, and then she tucked her arms behind her back and smiled up at him. "Are you alright? That tree looks like it tried to hit you back." She laughed slightly, though not loudly, in an attempt to cheer him back up.

Karoku smiled a bit as she tried to cheer him up. "I'm fine... Are you?" He asked, knowing that she had heard every word he'd yelled. He would be fine, but he doubted that she didn't mind being called a tool by Fenrir. He let his smile widen, trying to make her more happy then himself. "I'm sorry Fenrir's an a**..."

Enya opened her mouth to reply, then shook her head and let out a long sigh, looking down. "Fenrir is... complicated..." She murmured, trying to find a way to put her thoughts into words. "He... he likes to say things... things that I don't think even he believes..." She frowned and tilted her head back, running a hand through her hair, her eyebrows furrowed as if silently pleading for help. "I won't lie to you, it does hurt a lot, but..." She paused, her mouth plugging up, and she looked back at Karoku, simply unable to continue with that thought. She shot him a look filled with worry and fear, and then she looked quickly away again.
