Zack smiled and laughed. "Now, we're talking," he agreed. Glad to have to fight these creatures. He awaited for a swing of a tail, but instead a head came toward him. He laughed at this ease. He doged it as if he were in a boxing match. Then he brought the axe down on it's neck. Then he saw a tail, come from his back left. As the first creature's head fell to the ground, he ducked.

James had Zack's back though. He blocked the tail with a two handed block behind the metal of his axe. "Looks like we might be getting some meat," he joked as he saw one come from his far left.

Zack pushed James down and then came up with the axe as the tail finished it's swing. He grabbed it, preparing to use it as a weapon.

Then the second one, the one that had been blocked smacked into James. He got scratched down his chest and thrown about four feet.

Zack turned around and threw the tail at it's neck. The head fell just like the first one. They were big, but the bigger you are, the harder you fall.

The third one ran away, still tail-less. They breathed heavily and James felt the wounds on his chest. They were bleeding pretty bad. It wasn't too deep, but it was deep enough. They saw some trees nearby. Some thin ones. They made their way towards the thin trees, Zack working the most from his lack of a wound. Zack grabbed the two large beasts by their neck and James grabbed the weird firewood, for it was different than most. It went green after being cut down. They both made their way back to the cave.

Ari was sick of being pulled around, "i don't need help to protect myself you know" she muttered, walking ahead of Josh, "i'm quite capable of doing that" she continued looking for a watering hole as she walked, it couldn't be far away, the creatures they had just seen needed to be near water, you could see that..

As Zack and James grew closer to the cave, they noticed the sun was 1/4 of the way through the sky. It was around ten o' clock. The other group had two hours or so. James sat down to rest and let his wound heal up, while Zack placed the meat to the side and the placd all the green firewood together. He also placed some grass at the bottom to start the fire. Now he just needed something to start the fire with.

James hadn't read many books, but Hatchet had been one of the ones he did read. He took the axe and sliced across the top of the rock, creating sparks. He tossed it to Zack. He could give the hint, but right now, work wasn't an option. He took his shirt off and let the blood dry and seal the cut.

Zack caught the axe and murmured, "Showoff," before reenacting that same feat under the fire. The grass took flame and then Zack jogged backwards. He didn't know what the odd colored logs would do when lit. The fire caught and the green logs picked it up quickly. Within three minutes without help, the green logs had become a fire that would usually take 30 minutes, then he saw the logs strip their bark of green and turn orange. He found the next part quite funny, the fire turned purple. It was warm, and soothing to be next to. Zack chuckled and was glad that they'd found this firewood. He'd stored some away for later, but he had to make sure it caught well.
((I figure it'll stay lit for awhile, like til' tomorrow morning. Make sure this Rp doesn't become the log making Rp. Add mystery to it.))

Skadi tried to get up, but she found herself too weak to move. She laid on the ground hoping maybe someone would notice that she had awoken.

"you're forgiven, and you can help, just don't do everything for me" she smirked, "well then.." she looked down at the waterhole, "lets get something to carry that in.."

((Soon as everyone comes back to the cave we can fight the two spiky tailed baddies that followed James and Zack. And, question, could we somehow all start gaining different elemental powers? We have supernatural enemies, might as well. But also, theirs the aspect as to where we are at. If someone wanted to find a body of a human of a certain descendency, like a french hat on a skeleton, or maybe a british flag pin, or something... Not to mention you all should be starving, so you need to eat, then if one or two of us get sick... Also the love triangle thing. WE still need Skadi to get in the action. She's back, now we just need to get her into this.... hmmm, the last one I can trake care of.))

James knew he was too weak to cook from the cut, and was pretty sure Zack was tired out, so he walked into the cave to see the young girl that Zack had had in his arms had woken up. "Hello, and how are you this fine morning?" he asked, kneeling next to her with a kind smile. He had a diagonal rip in his shirt that showed the cut on his chest. He also still had the jeans on. They were beginning to rub him the wrong way.

(ummm... I say yes to the love triangle, even though I am in a lot of them and they starting to wear me out. But I'm cool with it XD Elemental powers... sure, but to an extent. Let's say the volcano at the center of the island has a strange affect on the environment, and if one gets too close to it, power starts to come to them. Cannibals, I see... hmmm... I'm going to go with this idea I have right now and those other things work.)

Lily searched for while, but then found a clearing... she looked through the bushes and saw what appeared to be one of the passengers from the ship, laying dead on the ground... two things were strange about this. First off they had small bit marks around the neck and back, almost human bite marks... The second thing was that there was what seemed to be a spear stabbed right into the person's back. She gasped as she looked down at the body as she released there was something else out there... capable of creating human weapons... the only thing was that whatever, or whoever, it was... they hunted humans.

The two remaining Forest Raptors followed James and Zack sneakily. Too bad for the group, one of these raptors was the leader of the group and the raptors that were killed were only a part of this group. The leader and her follower soon figured out where the humans stayed and they ran off. Suddenly a loud call could be heard, she was calling the others in her group, for there would be food tonight.
