Samuel: ~Luca's Room~ "Call me Sam." SuiZ "So I removed a thorn from your back, failed to kill you, let you in on my little secret. What's in it for me?" "Well, for one thing, I haven't tried to arrest you yet. Are you interested in meeting other Celestials? Perhaps I could drop your contact information if I meet another one in the near future." That was a very odd offer, except that it was the sort you had to risk a lot if you were going to trust him, and there was no way to prove he wasn't lying. It did sound friendly, though.

Laurence ~Chrest HQ~ "Darling, darling! Don't worry... I'll make sure someone as important as you sees it as soon as I can go over it with Crosse. You know I wouldn't keep something this... glorious... to myself, would you?" he laughed softly, tossing his long bangs back. Just then, Ailsean walked through the doorway and almost directly into them. "Ah, good to see you this day... O'Malley." Ailsean looked him over (with a quick, yet obviously digusted look at his hair) and kind of just walked past him. "Such a sweet guy..." he joked with Adrienne. He followed Adrienne inside, and, gliding to the side of Crosse's desk, slid into a chair. He crossed his slender legs and rested his gloved hand on his face; his elbow on the arm rest. His motions were almost ghostlike.

Thessaly Outside Magazine Shop, Westcheston Street
Thessaly could feel the apprehension coming from the blind officer. He was giving no real details of who he was, not even as simple as his name. He wondered what department this one came from, but even more so and where he could have seen his face before. His grip around his arm lightened as a taxi began moving towards there general direction.
"Yes sir, one is coming." Thessaly placed a few light pats on the officers arm. "So what happened to you anyway, did you lose your walking cane or seeing eye dog?"

Parafli ~...~
The dank and musty tunnel passage that linked to Isis HQ somehow seemed to be intriguing Parafli.
How amazing... it must've taken people years to build this place...
Feeling the filthy stone walls with his palm, he examined the cracks and such all over. He had listened to every word Korin had said before, and was keeping the information in the back of his mind. Being the street person he was, having a good memory was important.
"You can sleep now, miss. We'll take it from here..."
He muttered to her, turning on Dierdre as she spoke. Nodding slightly, he followed her down the path.
"I suppose it's good to meet you too... yes, I'm a wind celestial. How long have I known? I'd say the better half of my life... atleast 15 of the 17 years I've existed I've known. Of course, that's mainly because before dieing my parents left a note with me, explaining everything. When I was old enough I read it..."
Turning away, he tried to ignore the feeling of nostalgia building up inside him. Shaking his head to try to rid himself of the emotions, he nodded at her.
"I know you must be exhausted as well, but I implore you not to fall asleep on the trip there. My back is only wide enough to carry one of you..."

"Call me Sam"
Fine! Didn't feel like callnig you Sammy anyway! Pft....
"Well, for one thing, I haven't tried to arrest you yet. Are you interested in meeting other Celestials? Perhaps I could drop your contact information if I meet another one in the near future."
Or viceversa correct? Is he trying to offer me to be a snitch?
Whatever...
"Sure, why not?"
No it wasn't that being away from the world had finally become tedious and boring to me. Not at all. I was just in a predicament that didn't seem to get better by the minute...
...I mean I killed a girl for crying out loud.
"So where do I reach you? Or do you have further use of my presence at the moment?"

Duncan: ~I know you're out there, somewhere out there~
I'm lost. This is my city and I'm freaking lost! How far did I run from that car? In what DIRECTION did I run??
Ooooo...lucky break! A payphone!
Working my way around my jacket pockets (The only good this jacket's done today) I found the Sticky Bug, a device used to bypass payphone configurations while giving you a direct line to FM HQ. I walked up to the phone and stuck the Bug on one side of the payphone.
Izanami, you better not be in your world famous coffee breaks. I need some bearings and I need them now....the bloody back pain is coming back.....
I punched Izanami's FM extension into the phone.
Come on....come on...come on...it's not long before someone notices this phone's sending a signal it was not deisgned to send...
Pick it up already....

Crosse: ~Chrest HQ...baffled.~
Her sultry movements would look good above my fireplace....
"Crosse! We've had an exciting day! I'm sure you can't wait to discuss it. Laurence, why don't you come in with me?"
"Adrienne. What an expected surprise."
I made a hand gesture to Laurence, indicating him that his notes will be useful later on.
And right to business.
I didn't love her. But I could.
"I trust you're already up to date on today's events. Stop me anytime when you feel you're missing something."
Such grace.
"Various Celestial focus points near Parson's today. Let's go through them one by one shall we?"
I walked over to the minibar
"Scotch anyone?"
I began pouring myself some.
"Laurence. Tell us what went on this morning. And more importantly, explain to Madame Adrienne why exactly were there no Chrest agents anywhere near Parsons when those two clumsy AGSA boys turned things upside down."

((SuiZ, have my Internet babies. I love an Rper that can add to the page count like this. xd And, although I'm not really supposed to be here, plans for the weekend went very awry. I'm not very happy about it. >.>
And the location markers have officially become a joke. >.< The problem is that they're much easier - and necessary - to use when you're in a fantasy Rp stereotypical to me and I have several countries, and you don't want Bob attacking Chris in Country B when Chris is in Country A. But in an enclosed space like a city, even I don't quite know what to do with them.
I suppose we can get rid of them, then...I doubt everyone's going to get randomly confused. If people do, we can just reinstate the system. Of course, if you have several characters, you still have to make it known which character you're using whenever you post.))
Adrienne: Even though she was smiling, she knew that she had a chance to potentially hit where it hurt, or, at the very least, jibe him.
"Yes, I'd say you missed a big opportunity today, Crosse! What was going on, hm? You could have reclaimed the one that got away, an unfortunately strong Isis member, and that assassin who was a real thorn in the side. Of course, she's dead now, so one mustn't fret over spilt milk, I suppose." She stopped and counted on her fingers. "I'd say that's all the Celestial points, although there was that attack made by that frightfully annoying Gust. And X pulled a stunt today. We've certainly got our work cut out for us.
"By the way..." Tossing her hair, she paused and looked away, briefly chewing her bottom lip. It made her look she was carefully thinking about what she might say, although the truth was that she'd decided a long time ago. "Are you sure you can trust that other officer - the Celestial? Maybe a more loyal member, like Laurence here, should keep tabs on him. It pays to be cautious, you know."
Hiram: The laugh he suddenly choked out was surprisingly bitter, and nowhere near the light-hearted nature such interactions should be. When it had passed he gently shook his head, giving off an appearance that said he was emotionally as well as physicall exhausted. "Guy, you wouldn't believe me if I told you. You'd think I was crazy, a raving lunatic talking about the monsters in the darkness beyond children's closets."
He had to follow this piece of honesty with more fabrication to make his story seem plausible, so he continued with a selection from Thessally's theories. "Anyway, that's about how I got blind. The reason I'm out here like a nut is because my damn seeing-eye mutt ran away. My wife chose him, and badly. Now, I must thank you for helping some old guy out like this. You're a hundred times more heroic than the average lug you meet."
Hiram's words were true: He had a lot of philosophy concerning honor and the like. They were values he'd particularly enjoyed installing in his son, while he had still been alive.
Deirdre: She nodded, thinking quietly to herself all the while. If his parents had known, there was a good chance that - like many other Isis members she had met - it was because they were also Celestials. If Hiram knew that there were practically hierarchies developing, he'd probably have a coronary. As for herself, she'd had no such luck.
"I'm sorry for your loss." She began, and then played off the assumption she was making about his parents: "I know it can be tough, to raise a child under the circumstances we live in...myself, I was the odd duckling. Both my parents were unquestionably normal, and I have a brother out there - somewhere - who could be a devoted member of Chrest or AGSA for all I know. Anyway, enough sob stories. Here we are!"
The underground tunnel developed for emergencies had led them to a massive door, guarded with what seemed an impossibly large number of bolt locks and complications; Deirdre stood up to it, and in one wave of her hand, cast a little energy out and the whole system collapsed unto itself. A few seconds later it had slightly creaked open, and Deirdre was reminding herself to lock it once they were in.
"Home, sweet home. I don't mean to preach, but if you like it here, you should consider it a permanent institution. It was made for people like us, and supports us far more than we feel indebted to support it."
Yes, she was certainly good at her job. After all, Deirdre was an Isis recruiter. She had to make it sound good - and, as far as she was concerned, it was good.
Darn good, a definite life-saver for myself.

Parafli ~isis finally~
Saying the first thing that came to mind as a response, it wasn't exactly the most compassionate comment in the world, but it was the closest thing you'd get from someone like him.
"If I see him, I'll try to avoid killing him."
Yeah. That comment was REAL kind. But then, he didn't really think anything wrong with it, not used to being nice to people.
He eyed the door as she pushed it open, following her in but not without tension. He still didn't put it above these people to have some big guy jump out, grab him and strap him down on a lab table.
He listed to her speak about Isis and how great it was, and smiled slightly at her. Her assumption about his parents being celestials was completely accurate, but he chose not to comment on that. Instead, he went to her comment about how he should join.
"Well, you wouldn't just like Isis for no reason. Did they save you in the past, or what?"
He asked, geniunely curious.

Laurence "Laurence. Tell us what went on this morning. And more importantly, explain to Madame Adrienne why exactly were there no Chrest agents anywhere near Parsons when those two clumsy AGSA boys turned things upside down."
Laurence nodded and smoothed out his hair. "Ah yes... that disgusting show of vulgarity. We were under the impression that this would be a routine tracking of Celestial G-768, Sazuko. We were assured that AGSA had it under control." As calm as Laurence's voice was, it was easy to trace the irritation. He had let his men get off easy today, and for once he attempted to trust AGSA. He wished the brains behind the organisation were out on the field, not a couple of incompetent stooges. "One of your boys, Adrienne, is on my list. Hiram. Getting reduced to nothing by a Flash with almost no power, compared to other high-risk celestials? Samuel, as well, however. Letting one of our test targets killed by another ...creature. This... was not a good day." His usually serene eyes smoldered. Chrest needed that damned assassin. A young girl! The best targets were the hostile ones, too. "Anyway... O'Malley is trustworthy. He's an angry, messed up kid, but he gets his work done. If I even tried to keep track of O'Malley... I think the guy would kill me!" he chuckled softly. "Besides, he always gets his job done. And no weakness for Celestials. What a lovely trait." "As for "X" and that Gust, we're attempting to track them using small transmissions of psychic energy from our current ttest subjects. As far as I know, the Gust is heading in the direction of Isis." He shook his head in blatant disgust.
((I hope this is in the same context... o.o)

"I'll give you my cellphone number. If you're ever in trouble I'll see if I can help, provided you're willing to tell me more about this whole Celestial thing at that time. But unless you can think up a good lie for why I let you go instead of taking you in, I'd better be off thinking up a good lie." And calling my partner he decided.
He stood up and dusted himself off.

[Izanami - FM Headquarters]
Izanami let the phone ring a whole five times before even thinking of picking it up, wishing that whoever was calling would get the hint and hang up so she could get back to the crass magazines she'd been browsing through before the call. When the caller didn't hang up, she groaned aloud and picked the phone up, holding it in place on her shoulder with her ear.
"Morrrrrrgue," she greeted in a pretty impeccable valleygirlsecretary voice and waited for a response.

Thessaly Outside Magazine Shop, Westcheston Street
"Monsters," Thessaly raised a brow as he looked down at the old blind man, "Well, its good that you're still alive and just lost your eye sight."
The taxi slowed down right in front of them with the door just in the right spot showing that the driver probably has done it a thousand times before. The checkered marks on the side was newly painted even though the edges of the car's shell was beginning to rust. The driver looked through the mirror, glancing back between the two.
Thessaly opened the door for the old man, and slowly guided him into it.
"Be careful with your head there," he cautiously warned as he placed his arm at its edge, "And no need to thank me, I'll help anyone who needs help, I'm not really an average lug anyways... just a person who wants to make the world a better place for all of us."

((Guiding my own characters towards jump now...))
Deirdre: ~Outside Korin and Deirdre's Quarters, Isis HQ~
"My past can be summed up in a nutshell. My family was descended from a long line that served a noble family, and when the noble family discovered my abilities, they sold me to Chrest without my parent's knowledge or consent. I escaped after a couple of years, though, and walked right into the hands of some Isis members. And that would have been a decade ago; so yes, I consider Isis my home, and my saviors.
"Korin's room is next to mine," said Deirdre, briskly continuing down the hall.
Now that they were actually here, the place seemed like a hospital, or a large office building, or a cross between the two - it was obviously a very business-like, organized atmosphere.
"We'll have to 'hide' you, if you don't want to be bothered further with the idea of joining. I want Korin to sleep in her own bed tonight, since she's so tired, so you'll have to sleep in my room. I'll sleep with Korin in her room, on the floor. You also need a bed tonight - it's obvious to me that you've had more than one battle today, and that's not just because I'm psychic."
They'd reached the two doors. A protective code was needed to enter, but naturally, Deirdre knew Korin's code. She punched it in and waited for Parafli.
Adrienne: ~Main Office, Chrest HQ~
"We can assume by now that the Gust has been inducted into Isis. Even if he hasn't, it's better not to take the risk. They become more organized when affliated with Isis, and that's a dangerous thing to reckon with. Hiram...yes, I was disappointed in him, today; however, he still has the highest count of killed Celestials, and I like that particular trademark. Samuel...worries me, at times. He approachs all this like an ethically concerned scientist."
Pausing, she checked her watch. It wasn't to be rude, and her diplomatic self felt regret for the impression it might send. She attempted to explain: "I apologize, but I only intended to visit for a few minutes. I have a ton of paperwork to do, and I'd hate to be demoted because I didn't sign some of the old crone's doddering, verbal concepts. The reason I needed to see you face-to-face was to inform you that as of tomorrow, I'm sending men against the one FM building we found." (Unlike Isis, FM was more spread out, and possessed several locations. Isis was hidden better, so they didn't really care. Adrienne still, unfortunately, had no clue to the actual location of Isis, although she had somewhat of a general conception of the direction.)
Smiling admittedly a little maliciously, she faced Crosse. "I think it's going to be exciting. That escaped little beggar of yours will take the fall, so I think you'll be satisfied with the end results. Of course, Chrest will remain a secret, as usual. We don't need any humanitarian concerns over beings that aren't even human to begin with..."
Hiram: ~Westchestion Street, Outside Magazine Shop - Taxi~
"Yes. I agree that people do need to be kinder to each other nowadays. Your help has been really uplifting. Thanks, Thessally."
With a sigh of relief, Hiram entered the taxi and sat down. He'd stay the night at his office, because it would be too much of a hassle to find his way home, and then he'd have to deal with his wife's concern. Besides, it was better off if his occupation's work remained more of a secret to her. He gave the taxi driver directions to AGSA HQ, hearing the taxi door slam with satisfaction.
Sleep would be a very good idea...

Laurence Laurence chuckled at Adrienne's last comment. "Ah, how true it is." He turned to Crosse and picked up his folder. "I'll save these for the morrow. I thought we had time, but it must be nearly midnight!" He turned again, this time facing both Adrienne and Crosse. "I'll be there, tommorrow. I doubt I'll be doing anything to bloody my gloves, but I will be there in case things get messy. I'd rather not... take any chances." "But I'll handle this all tommorrow, we must all get some rest." he bent down to kiss Adrienne's hand, nodded his head at Crosse, and walked out of the room. As he stepped in the elevator and leaned against the marbled wall, he sighed. Day, after day, after day.. Sometimes, he tired of his tedious work. It got so monotonous... Why can't the celestials just... Die?
He got to his room and slid the card key into the lock. The door opened with a hiss, and (although completely out-of-character) he flopped down on his bed. He sighed and got up again, wandered to the bathroom, and took his shower. Afterwards, he began to think. Poor Crosse... a weak spot for women. But that's the trick, my dear Lord... to put the spell on them... Just to use them. Women are weak... and weak creatures need to be taught what to do. They need to be made useful... He drifted off to sleep, thinking of new ways to commit a genocide for celestials.
