It wasn't long before Annjette too awakened and was soon by Vanna's side more or less going to her knees, "Morning Birdie an' Vanna." The swan-girl said happily. Annjette glanced at Vanna and smiled, "Had a dream, we were flyin' -- you, me, and Sparrow. We were all birds,"

Vanna smiled and waved at Annjette, giggling at the girl's dream. That would be very nice! But a little impossible, now that both of them were little girls.
Vanna wondered if, one day, the sparrow would become a kid, too. Probably not, but there was always a chance, she supposed...
Turning her attention back to Sparrow, she hummed a little, questioningly. What were they going to do today?

She reached and petted the bird along the head a moment, "I'm hungry, I wonder if little bird is hungry to, you hungry?" She asked the last part to Vanna. Annjette was rarely aware of how mixed up her sentences seemed on average.
Annjette seemed thoughtful, "Wonder when Papa will wake up to make us foods."

Vanna nodded, then got up, getting an idea. She crawled over to Uncle Voltaire's bed and somehow managed to clamber up. Then she went and sat on his chest, staring at him with all three eyes.
Then she poked him in the nose.
Gigging, she glanced at Annjette, then returned to staring eerily at her uncle. This should be funny!

Annjette put her hands over her lips to try and stop herself from breaking into a fit of giggles as she watched Vanna.
Voltaire was sleeping peacefully, emphasis on was. Then he felt a heavy weight on his chest which was easy enough to ignore until the staring began. He blurily opened his eyes a moment, "Wuzzat?" He mumbled and all he saw for the moment was a oddly colored blurr with three eyes which caused him to squeak faintly and open his eyes a bit wider until he realized who it was, "Vanna! Little imp." He sat up wrapping his arms around her so she didn't fall. He settled her on his lap glancing between the girls and the bird, "You all hungry?"
Annjette was in a fit of giggles, but she found time to nod quite vigorously. She was starved.

Vanna nodded as well, wrapping her arms around Voltaire's neck. Carry me! She giggled, remembering the look on his face when he saw her. That had been funny.

Voltaire chuckled and wrapped his arms around Vanna again lifting her up as he stood up. It was easy enough for him to figure out what the girl wanted through actions, "Let's see what we have, then." He got a bowl of left over 'bird food' and offered it to Annjette, "You want to feed our patient this morning while Vanna and I get food ready?"
Annjette nodded and accepted the bowl. If Vanna had been any other child she didn't know -- Annjette would have become jealous. Though seemingly enough seeing her Papa carry around Vanna didn't seem to bother her in the slightest. She took the bowl and began to feed the bird with the makeshift feeder her papa constructed the night before.
Voltaire then carried Vanna to a cupboard-compartment that was about head-level, "I think a light, but filling breakfast is a good idea this morning. Maybe a big lunch later, hmm?"

Vanna wasn't sure one way or another. The berries and worms looked more appetizing than any of the weird stuff in Voltaire's pantry. She has yet to eat human food, and was a bit wary... but her tummy rumbled, and she knew that the small amount of worms in the bowl, first off, wouldn't satiate her. Second off, they were for Sparrow!
Anyway - not knowing what to suggest, she simply shrugged and nodded.

Voltaire seemed thoughtful and then glanced at Vanna, "Not sure if you tried human food yet. Well, let's try to ease you into it instead of introducing it to you all at once. Fruits and some oatmeal it is." He reached up and got out a clear jar filled with dry oats.
Annjette fed Sparrow whom was eating much better than it was last night, "Papa, Sparrow is eating a lot better t'day." She was proud of herself. The swan-girl had helped the bird on it's way to recovery.
Voltaire smiled glancing at Annjette, "Good, good. Well then, let's get your breakfasts made." He set the jar down on a fold out table that came out as soon as he bumped his hip against it while holding the jar in one hand and Vanna in the other arm. Living with Annjette made it possible for him to problem-solve on the go.

Vanna giggled, watching Voltaire try to get around and do things without hands. She flicked her feathers at him, playfully, trying to see what distracting him would do.
She turned to look at Annjette, waving and pointing to the sparrow and making a happy, proud sound. She had helped, too!

Voltaire laughed a bit and tilted his head back to avoid the feathers, "You are a playful one, aren't you, child?" He put down the jar on the fold out table, "May I place you down to finish our breakfast, or still wish me to carry you?"
Annjette finished feeding the bird and now she was petting it and humming and talking to it before glancing over at Voltaire and Vanna, "When will Sparrow be able to fly again, Papa?"
The half-elf glanced at Vanna and seemed thoughtful before just shrugging, "Broken things take a bit of time to heal. It's wing wasn't badly broken from what I saw, so probably fairly soon. When he is ready to return home we'll have a little 'go home' celebration. We'll invite Vanna and Lor, of course."
Annjette smiled and looked at the Sparrow, "Celebration for you! Hope you get better soon so you can enjoy it too, Sparrow"
It was good -- no wonderful to see Annjette caring so much for another living being. Animal or otherwise. It was wonderful despite the disturbing news he had gotten the night prior.

In answer, Vanna squirmed. Lemme down! Sparrow and Annjie! she seemed to say, tickling Voltaire's ears with her back feathers. She hoped her mommy would be here soon, so she could see Sparrow, too!

Voltaire laughed, "Calm down, little one. I think I know where you wish to go next, I'll save you time and put you there myself. There's something I need to get there I need to get for breakfast anyhow." He smoothly moved with Vanna in his arms and deposited her close to Annjette and Sparrow. He was still going to make the girl practice movement of course. Lor would likely have his hide otherwise.
Annjette just giggled and waved at Vanna, "Hihi!"
Sparrow looked up and over at Vanna chirping a greeting to the strange girl that could make similar noises.
After depositing Vanna he moved to another area of the wagon where he kept fruit and took up an apple and some berries and moved back to the table with the jar depositing them. Voltaire just kept working at making breakfast, getting out bowls, using some of their water supply, and even using a cantrip-like spell to mildly warm up the oatmeal as it was much more pleasent when eaten warned up.

Vanna waved to Annjette, too, before turning to Sparrow. She chirped back to Sparrow happily, crawling over to her two friends. She sat down next to Annjette, giggling and humming and watching as Uncle Voltaire made them food. It smelled good! A bit weird, but good all the same.

Voltaire for the next few moments getting out a large blanket to the outside and anchoring it down at the corners with some heavy rocks. He then plucked up the girls and set them down and brought out Sparrow shortly after.
Lastly he brought out the food stuffs, once everything was arranged he settled himself down with the girls seeming thoughtful as he glanced at Vanna. Could she feed herself or would he need to help. He wasn't sure how much the children could do after being brought to infancy. Voltaire had gotten Annjette when she had already been an infant (or rather a toddler by now) for a very long time.
Annjette looked at her new surroundings, and decided eating outside was a good idea she glanced at Vanna a moment, "Vanna know how t'eat like people?" The swan-girl didn't seem to mind bluntly asking questions, and this likely did Vanna a favor rather than make her ashamed.
