"Alrighty then, I'll try to see if we have some fish or something. Let's head back." she said, taking his hand and starting back to the village. She didn't know if he could keep up with her otherwise.
A fox demon would approach Thena and tap her on the shoulder. "Hello miss, you seem a bit lost. Can I help you?"
Amanda was headed straight for a nest of wolves, the Fendar wolves to be exact. These wolves were not known for their mercy and often dispatched demons they thought they could use for meat. The centaur would be no exception as a pack of wolves was closing in from all sides.

::She was so facinated with the foliage that she didn't notice them untill they were nearly upon her. she came up short seeing them and pulled her cloak tighter around her::hi....::she says a bit shyly, ducking her head in her fashion:: this is a lovly forest...do you live here?

She looked at him a bit sadly. "No need to be afraid Haiiro, no one will hurt us, and they certainly won't hurt you. They'd have me to deal with." she said firmly, her smile slightly more grim. She did not think he would be attacked, but she wanted to let him know she would protect him.
"Foolish girl, roaming into our territory. We live and hunt in this forest." one of the males growled out. He was rather large and burly, scars crisscrossed across his face and chest and it was clear he had been in many battles. A net with small iron balls attached to the bottom was held in one hand and a club in the other.

He gave her a smile (not quite as timid as before) "Thanks... I'm not really afraid... just a bit nervous. I've never really met others... except for the demons my parents hire for work around our home. But.. now I'm embarresed that you seem to be stuck taking care of me... and your younger." He looked down ashamed... he couldn't even take care of himself and this girl was so strong and brave! He wished he could be a bit more like her!

The fox demon nodded. "Yep, that's right. You need to head on over to Maralah and Monty's place, I hear Kira's cooking tonight. Should be interesting, may have to pay a visit myself." he said the last a bit absently, getting lost in his own thoughts for a moment. He then shook his head. "Sorry, forgot myself there for a moment. You wouldn't know how to get there." He then pointed a finger down towards the end of the village. "Go down there to the last house, it's the largest one around so you can't miss it. They always house the travelers."
"Hey, don't worry about it." she said, slowing down a bit to walk with him. She didn't care about the rumors that would be flying by suppertime since she was walking through the village holding an older male demon's hand, he wasn't the same as everyone here, he wasn't raised the same way. "We're from different worlds, you have to remember that. This forest is harsh and I had to grow up quickly. Not you though. I think it's better that way, you can be a child longer and enjoy life. Thought he fact that you hadn't really gone anywhere was a bit odd. If I were a parent I would want my kids to explore."
The club still rested firmly in his hand, though he didn't plan to use it on her. "It's what we own of this forest. We patrol and maintain the borders and are allowed to kill anyone within our boundaries without penalties from the other wolf clan or the fox clan. That is what this territory is for us. That is, unless you bear the flag of truce from one of those clans?" he raised an eyebrow as to inquire if she did.

"Well you picked the wrong territory to run in." he said simply before quickly spinning the net over his head and launching it at the centaur. It would spread open and then, if caught, would wrap around the centaur with the iron balls not allowing her to get out.
"Anytime." he said, making the small salute and then going back to his duties. Everyone there worked to keep the travelers where they were supposed to be and keep them in order.

::she saw somthing being thrown and bolted to the side before it sprung open, nearly trampling some one in the proccess::please....I'm too tored to run anymore...can't I just stay here? I promise I'll behave....

"Don't make this difficult for us. I wouldn't want to have to smash your head with the club." Several more male wolf demons started twirling the nets. "Come quietly or I'm afraid this won't be a pleasant process for you."

He shrugged. "It depends really. If you don't give us too much trouble we'll let you live and only cut off the bottom half of your tail, the part below the bone. If you give us too much trouble we may kill you and eat you. It's your choice." he said, the club resting lightly on his shoulder.
