... Ew. Clearly some people weren't used to questionable food. Rosa turned her music up to drown out the yacking and covered her nose hastily; if she didn't smell it, she wouldn't get nauseated herself.
... actually, the pancakes tasted better with her nose closed. Hm.

"Ah, there you are," Chef rumbled. "There's been an... accident out in the mess hall. Rubber gloves'n'stuff are in that closet over there. Go clean it up pronto and I'll let yew have a pancake." Providing he was still hungry enough after cleaning it up to eat it, heh.

"Ew dude, just -ew-." Chris grumbled, retreating into the kitchen to eat his pancakes. It wasn't the grandest of places but it was still better than being out in the main lodge with the barfing campers. Right? Right.
The host found a quiet (and clean) spot in the kitchen and set about scarfing his breakfast. It simply wouldn't -do- to try hosting on an empty stomach, and at least back here he'd be safe from the campers since...well this was private property back here. Heh!

With Annabel and Lex's help, Simon was able to safely stumble to the fresh air of the outdoors without passing out or puking himself. He breathed a heavy sigh of relief as he allowed himself to plop on the ground, drawing his knees up to his chest and resting his arms on them.
"Thanks... thanks a lot," the LARPer gasped, giving his head a shake to ward off the rest of his ill feelings.
Hmm... it was actually pretty peaceful outside. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.

As she helped Simon out the door, she turned and mouthed a 'Thank You' to Lex, offering a weak smile as she did so. Well. So much for being a hardened, people-avoiding badass. But, really... if they were actually going to be nice... maybe she didn't have to be? It was already seeming like the rules of the outside world didn't apply here; maybe she wouldn't have to be a cut-throat b***h not to get picked on. That... was a strange, but welcome thought.
It wasn't like she'd always been an a**; once upon a time, Annabel had just been a girl who liked dressing weird. But, you know how that one ends. Scowling as she revisited the memories of her childhood, she decided maybe not everyone would get the nice treatment. She'd still be wary, for now- she had to survive after all! ..But maybe she didn't have to be such a b***h.
Especially to Simon.
"It's not a big deal, really. It's what friends do, yeah? And besides, you're a sweet guy. I couldn't let you get hurt day one of this.. thing." She said, laughing a bit to cover her embarrassment.
"Someone's gotta keep me from strangling the shiny haired guy."

Billy had fallen asleep on the table, with some drool coming out of his mouth. It wasn't until he smelt a foul odor that he started to blink awake. Hmm... He didn't seem to be that hungry now. It seemed to be that smell. He looked around to see all of the other campers. There were some pancakes around but no one seemed to like them. Billy decided not to eat his. He was wondering what had happened though. "What happened?" He asked out loud, hoping someone would respond.
((Just got back from work.))

"Y-yes sir!!" Scott replied happily, excited at the prospect of a pancake. He quickly scrambled into the closet for supplies and hurried off to take care of the mess.

Carmen tried to amble back towards the front of the mess hall. She had to tear some pages out of her journal and use hand sanitizer to clean up. It wasn't her ideal. In her mind, she couldn't wait to get her a shower later. She wondered how long they had till other campers arrived. Maybe she could steal away to find the bath house; if there was one at all.
She looked around to see more people outside. She thought it was safer to stick to herself along the side of the building. Hopefully, she wouldn't have any more attacks like that. She stood there with her arms crossed over her chest. So, who all watched the other end of the camera? Maybe it wasn't on. Hopefully, it wasn't.

Lex shrugged nonchalantly when Annabel thanked it. Not like opening a door took any serious effort or anything. Okay, things were off to a good, albeit rocky, start. Lex had avoided food poisoning and being hurled on. And there were a few audios here who it felt it could stand. "So, uh, my name's Lex." Huh, wasn't like it to stumble over its words... "And believe it or not, I'm capable of coherent speech after I've been up a few hours," a wry half-smile graced its face. Turning its attention to Simon alone, Lex asked, "You gonna be okay to get to your cabin? I assume we'll get our assignments soon," glancing around Lex added, " 'Cause if not, I'm sure they have a med tent or something..."
((Okay, I'm going to sleep now. 'Night!))

Emilie padded in, clutching a sketchbook in one paw and adorned with a pencil behind her left ear. She glanced around seeing the others and sighed to herself. She hadn't introduced herself to anyone yet, and almost didn't plan to. That was. until she saw Billy.
She skipped over and lowerd her face dangerously close and smiled, "Well, hullo thar! Mah name's Emilie, whats yers?"

Billy almost jumped in surprise when a girl suddenly was in his face. Blinking a few times he was finally able to respond. "Uh, hi. I'm Billy. Nice to meet you. Do you have any idea what is going on?

"No idea, Billy buddy, no iddeeaaaa," she tilted her head, "Uhm, think I could sit o'er here?" her bright white tail swung back and forth behind her slowly and her brown eyes sparkled. "I was honestly hopin' you could tell me what all the fussin' was about."

Now that she was less worried on Simon's well-being, Annabel gave herself a moment to breathe, relieved that her dorky friend wasn't going to be ill- for now, anyway. And, she would admit, the fresh air was better than that stuffy messhall. Drawing a deep breath of the stuff, she gave a soft, romantic sighing, only sobering when the.. unidentifiable gendered Audio spoke to her.
"Badass name, not going to lie." She smirked slightly, giving him an acknowledging head-raise. When he added the bit about coherency, she snorted slightly.
"Son of a b***h, you could've fooled me." Annabel grinned, hoping her sarcasm was readable to the other. Hopefully, it wouldn't make an enemy of... ..this one. Didn't need anybody hating her right off the bat.
"I, uh." Flustering slightly, Annabel turned, and gave Simon a gentle 'thump' on the back. "I'm going to be watching out for him, for a while. I think that rat b*****d of a host is off seducing the cook in the kitchen for more good food, or something. So we've got time to kill."
Pausing a moment, she flicked her ears when an idea struck her.
"You're welcome to chill with us, on the condition you get some of that coherency you promised." She snickered lightly, amused by her own humor.

He nodded his head yes in response. "Well, it seems that this food was very bad and something happened with it. Maybe it came back up?" He really wasn't quite sure but he guessed that was what happened. That was if you pieced it all together. He grabbed a napkin to clean up his drool while blushing. That was embarrassing. "Go ahead and take a seat if you want."

"Er, I'm Simon," the dork replied, after giving himself a few moments to breathe and ensure that the contents of his stomach weren't going to give him a hard time. "And that's Annabel." He didn't hear the girl give her name, and figured she wouldn't mind him introducing her.
Giving a nod, he continued, "I-I think I'm fine, though. I just... pass out easy, sometimes. But I don't think I'll die here or anything..." He gave a nervous chuckle at that. They wouldn't allow that sort of thing to happen here, right?
