 Oriana kissed his shoulder lighty, and began to fall asleep due to the soothing vibrations of his deep voice in his chest. ~~~~~~~~ Hali lifted the corner of the hood up and peeked an eye out at Kaiser, "Why? Is it that embarrassing traveling with me... I know I'm bad, but...." she sighed and let the hood fall, "Never mind..... I'll keep my mouth shut..."

Auren smiled as he stopped humming, and kissed her forehead. Gently uncurling from her, he slipped out of the bed and looked at himself in the mirror.
Scars marked almost every part of his body. Arms and legs were cut up. His stomach and chest was a menagerie of scars. Puncture wounds and cuts, mostly. Shaking his head, he sighed.
Getting fully dressed, he took his massive, sole weapon besides various knives. The nigh-legendary blade Mishizuri. The sword was as tall as he was, and silently he picked it up off the wall and placed it on his back.
Old habits die hard. Even this one he wasn't sure he could break.
Slipping out of the room, he made his way to the kitchen. After getting himself reacquainted with everything, he began cooking.

"No, its not that, Hali. It's just that we don't want it known that we're traveling together." Myrr muttered. She also had a hood with a cloak on, and pointed at a Wanted sign with Kaiser's description on it.
Kaiser shook his head and led the way into the Laughing Fox.

'Great... Now you're falling for a wanted man?!' Miu hissed, 'Your sister will not be pleased about this! Not one bit!'Hali rolled her eyes and shuffled into the inn after Myrr and Kaiser had entered. she sat at a table in the far corner, and sighed heavily, "Good god Kaiser... What did you do to get in trouble..." she folded her arms and looked down at the warped wooden table. ~~~~~~~~ Oriana shuffled downstairs in a long silky robe, and soft fuzzy slippers. she rubbed one eye and yawned, "Awwww, you could have woke me up to cook something for you..." she slid herself into a chair and poured a glass of wine from the bottle they had at dinner.

Kaiser sat down at the table, along with Myrr.
"Eh, y'know. Kidnapped the queen and killed a guard." he said with a light-hearted grin.
Myrr shook her head as a serving girl came up to the table. Myrr ordered three Ales, and asked if Virmire was around.
The girl shook her head. Kaiser took out a card with a moon on it, and placed it on the platter. "Take that to the Inn Keeper, will you dear?" he said.

Auren looked back at her as he finished making the bachelor's omelet he was making.
"My treat for up and disappearing like that." he said as he began portioning it out and putting it on plates. He put the plate in front of her with a smile, though his eyes darted to shadowy areas from time to time.
Sitting down across from her, he smiled easily.

Oriana scooped up a fork full of omelet and smiled. After swallowing she took his hand and smiled, "Thank you Auren." she noticed his eyes dart off, and looked behind her to where he was and noticed the broom in the corner. she turned around and smiled, "Don't worry, you're in the safest place in all of Aquious..." She finished up the omelet quickly and did the dishes, "So, Did you want to go somewhere today, maybe it will help to get your mind off of things..." She had hoped he said yes... she wanted to get him out of the castle so bad; even if they didn't go into a town. Just a walk could do him some good, and her too. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hali smirked, "Oriana actually sent out an order for me... wow..." 'it's not like she doesn't care about you...' Miu grumbled. "Shush!" she hissed behind her shoulder, and looked back at the table, "So... Am I still not supposed to be talking...?"

"I know, I know its safe here, Oriana... its just bad habits... We were attacked more then once from the shadows within our own camps, you know." he sighed
"Honestly? he said as he started eating, "I could care less. I just want to... rest. Relax. That's all. Be with you..." he said.

Kaiser and Myrr both looked at Hali as she said Hush, confusion and a look of "Oh really?" was on their face.
"Well, sorta. The less people remember you, the better. Myrr and I are regulars here, so we're not concerned about that. It's just you. Consider it secrecy." Kaiser told her.
The Serving Girl came back and delivered the drinks.
Kaiser was about to sip his in peace before from across the tavern hall. "KAISER~~! Why didn't you tell me you were in town!" A man called from the opposite side of the room. Dressed in a rich, multicolored robe of blues and golds, he rushed to Kaiser's side of the table.
"...Bloody hell. Can't a man at least get a sip of his beer in peace first?" he muttered.
Myrr started having gigglefits.

"If you're tired we can just stay here..." she smiled as she wiped the dishes dry and placed them back in the cupboards, "We can always go for a walk later." She returned to the table and continued to sip on her wine.

'That blue is gorgeous... it would look brilliant on my sister... but not so much on him...' she thought as her eye twitched from the horrific painful sight of the man.
'Oh my! your man's gay now! This is rich...' Miu howled in a burst of laughter.
Hali growled and quickly silenced the cackling lizard. she watched the man as he approached the table and clutched tighter to her shell.

"It's not the tired of being exhausted physically. I'm just... Drained." he said. "It's hard to explain, really..." Auren said as he shook his head.

She smiled and stood up, "I'm going to go get dressed." She finished her wine and went upstairs. Roughly twenty minutes later she came back downstairs in her usual attire,"Would you like to go for a walk down by the lake? I'll bring some coffee with. I find it to be nice and relaxing down there." she offered as she filled a pot of water to boil and make coffee with.

Auren nodded. "Sure, why not. Let me get ready first." Slipping from the table, he went back to his guest bedroom where he started putting on his cleaned armor.
It was wierd, seeing it shone to a mixture of gunmetal grey and silvers. before it used to be black and red through none of its own design. Slipping it on, he felt safe again.
As safe as steel and chain would be against most things. Returning to the kitchen, he sighed "Okay, I'm ready."

"Hi, Virmire." Kaiser growled, staring into his ale like he intended to set it on fire with his eyes alone.
"How've yah been!? I saw those wanted posters, Kaiser. Kidnapping a Queen, Kaiser? Kidnapped her like you kidnapped my poor, innocent heart. Naughty Kitty, Kaiser~" Virmire went on and then immediately molested Kaiser's ears.
Kaiser hunched his shoulders and growled "Yes Virmire, I kidnapped Queen Hali..."
Myrr could not stop laughing, until she caught the Wizard's attention. "And the lovely Myrr, how are you?" he asked her as he took one hand away from Kaiser's ears, took her hand and kissed it.
"Getting my entertainment from you and Kaiser, and wondering what hair-brained scheme he's got going now."

Oriana had a small lunch packed in a basket, with a thin sheet tucked over top of it. she smiled sweetly and took his arm, "We're off!" she kissed his cheek and left the castle.
There were two guards outside the door that gave her an odd look as she passed by. she got a few feet away from the castle doors, released Auren's arm, and walked back to the door. She stared at the two guards and growled, "So help me... If you have a problem with me being with him... I'll have your heads..."
The guards shuddered and straightened by the door, "We have no problem your highness... Have a great time on your outing."
Oriana rejoined Auren and took him for a nice long walk through the woods and down to the lake.

Hali gripped tighter to her shell and grumbled something that no one could understand, but there was several high pitched squeaks from her backpack.
'Haha! You want his ears!!! That's hilarious Hali... Absolute hilarious!' Miu cackled, 'Though he doesn't seem to like it much! Might wanna work on that!'
Hali shivered and lowered her head further, trying to hide her beat red face. What the hell was she supposed to say about that squeaking... the chair? the table...?

Auren tried to relax. It was wierd. So much green.
So much... Life. He was used to the burnt out remains of countrysides and towns.
Shaking his head, the General sighed as they reached the beach.
"It's so wierd. There's so much life here, I've forgotten what it was like." he murmered as he scooped a round rock, examined it, and then skipped it across the lake.
Turning back to her, he smiled. "Though, it was a nice change of pace..."

"And who is the person in the back, I presume you are Queen Hali?" Virmire said with a grin, extending his hand to her.
Myrr muttered something about a squeaky chair as she examined hers, then shot a quick look at Hali. There was something... odd about her. Did she always have two psychic signatures?
Myrr needed to investigate later.

Oriana smiled and laid out the sheet and knelt down, "Yeah, It's beautiful down here... You can see the Gruer mountains just off in the distance..." she sighed and watched Auren skip rocks.

Hali didn't say a word as she was instructed, but she was irritated with Miu, 'seriously, laugh a little louder next time!'
Miu giggled and slid down her back, making Hali jump up from the chair and squeal slightly. Miu cackled again and slid into her backpack to hide.
Hali blushed and sat down quickly. she wanted to apologize but didn't want to piss Kaiser or Myrr off by speaking.

Auren peered off in the distance "Really?"
After a few moments of scanning, he realized he saw them just barely.
"Huh, yer right. Though, I need to do something first..." he said as he stepped into the lake, wading in it until he was waist deep. Taking the massive sword from his back, he sighed, looked at it, and then tossed it into the lake.
Eschewing the rest of his armor, also leaving it in the lake, he returned to Oriana, soaking wet.
"Bah, I may be wet but I am returning to you forever, no more campaigns, or work, no more nothing. I'm... done with that life." he said with a hesitant smile.

Virmire arched an eyebrow, looked at the pair. Kaiser shrugged, then wreched off the Wizard's hand.
"We told her to be quiet. Don't need to announce that she's here and everything."
Virmire nodded with a seriousness that seemed out of place for the jovial man. "Let me guess. A short jump to the Compound is needed?" he asked Kaiser.
"Yeah. If you don't mind." Kaiser said.
The Wizard nodded. "Sure, I'm just waiting for this evening's mail call before I teleport. I imagine the three of you will stick around?"
"Aye. Thanks Virmire." Kaiser said with a sigh and returned to his ale. "Any time Kaiser." Virmire said as he left the trio.
Myrr leaned over and whispered something to Kaiser, who nodded.

Hali looked down at her reflection in the Ale and sighed. It's so depressing to not be able to speak. she sat there and thought about her past. she began to realize how spineless she really was and it almost made her sick. 'no wonder my sister hates me... she's so strong and proud... and i'm.... weak...' a tear slid down her face and she slumped for the first time. Miu had heard, but didn't answer... instead she sent a message to Oriana, My queen. Your sister is on her way to becoming the little girl she was. before the incident... I'm afraid that is all the information i have for you now. I will speak to you again. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Oriana blushed softly as Auren came up from the lake. she rose from the sheet and met him at the lake's edge, "A-Auren..." she stuttered. she could feel her heart pounding as she placed a hand on his chest. laying her heavy head on his chest she kissed his neck softly, "Are you sure... you want to stay with me?"
