Elros tossed the vegetables together then, satisfied it was completely miced, she picked up the bowl and headed toward the table. "There are a couple salad dressings in the refrigerator door Roka. Bring them to the table for me please."
Roka nodded and set down his pop then turned and opened up the fridge, grabbing the bottle of ranch and the bottle of catalina he saw there.

"Hm?" Kuma blinked as though coming out of a reverie, one ear flicking. He'd been listening to the conversation and slipped into a quiet introspection. "Uh yeah sorry I guess I spaced out there for a second." He grins and takes a drink of his beer. "That's quite a story there." He nods to Nerus and Jamil. "Funny isn't it? Sounds like something out of a book. Love at first sight and all that..." he steals a brief glance toward Maru, flashing a grin of his own. The relationship between Nerus and Jamil sounds a lot like the meeting between himself and the Unicorn. Funny how things worked out like that, you went for so long jumping between relationships and all the sudden you landed with both feet into something that promiced that it could turn into something really deep...if you let it.

Jamil set his beer down trying not to giggle. He reached down capturing Nerues tail in one hand and looked at the Angel raising an eyebrow at the innocent loving look. God he had to forgive him. He hmmm stroaking Nereus tail. "I guess it was kind of like love at first sight."
Sheridan smiled at Mupiel before leaving putting the bowl down before CIan who eagerly lapped the fresh water and sat down taking a drink of his own pop.

Mupiel took a seat at the table where he was before and listened in on the converstaions going on. He took a sip of the water that was at the table.
Maru smiled as if he caught on to what kuma said. He looked down at his plate and fingerd the silverware. He saw Mupeil take a seat at the table. Finaly. He thought. Its almost time to eat, then we can finaly leave. He didn't feel quite confortable for some reason. He would rather be at home eating with Kuma or just resting would be nice. He had enough people time. He took a beer that was left at the table for him and took a good swig. It stung going down his thought.
Nereus shiverd under Jamil's touch. He liked hearing that word from Jamil's lips. He started to day dream as he took anouther sip of his beer. He coughed and tryed to think about something besides that. He steached out his legs under the table and tryed to get alittle more confortable with the new arangement.

Jamil smiled at Nereus reaching over patting the demon with his free hand his other still stroaking the demon tail. He smiled sugestive eyes darting to the rooms.
Sheridan sipped his pop eyeing Jamil and Nereus trying not to smile at the two's antics. They where so cute together.

Kuma reaches over subtly to try and give Maru an light pat on the arm. He's no more comfortable than the unicorn is...no...not quite true. He's inclined toward gatherings, though this isn't 'his' gathering, these people, except for Maru, are strangers to him, which makes him feel uncomfortably vulnerable, a little on edge. "You ok?" He asks under his breath, wagging his tail ever so slightly.

Elros walked out to the dining room and set the salad on the table followed closely by Roka with the dressings. "Ok guys. Sorry about the wait but now it's finally time to eat,' she said, smiling around the table at everyone then taking a seat.

Mupiel smiled at Elros. He held his stomach and waited pasiently. He watched everyone from the side of the table he was on. His tail brushed by his lap and he began to slowly pet the sides slideing it onto his lap and contuied to pet it.
Nereus smiled knowing what Jamil was suggesting. "After our stomachs are full.." He purred quietly over into Jamil's ear. "then we can do whatever you like." He kissed the side of his ear where he spoke and smiled. To everyone else it would look like just a wisper. He leaned back over into his chair grabing anouther sip of his beer.
Maru looked at Kuma and eased up alittle. "Yea, I'm fine." He said quietly in a reasurring voice. "I'm just hungry." He smiled. No need to worry him, it was just a stupid thought anyways. He looked back toward the food and everyone else. "Soo, whos gonna say the prayer?" It might shock everyone that he was the first to say it but that was how he was raised.

Jamil gave a pleased murr setting Nereus's tail down it wasn't fair to tease him while they could just be with each other in a little bit. THe food smelled so good. Then their was the mention of prayer caused him to inwardly shink. Last thing he knew god and him where not realy talking together.
Sheridan scrached Cian ear. "How about you say it Maru? I'm sure it will be wonderfully done."

Elros returned her coon's smile then winked at him and clasped her hands together, resting her elbows on the table and her chin on her knuckles. "Yes, why don't you say it Maru? It's only right since you spoke up first." She brought her purple cat eyes to the uni's face and smiled once more, a warm and friendly expression.
Roka followed Elros' example and criss-crossed his fingers, resting his chin on his knuckles and glancing around the table at all the unfamiliar faces. His left ear twitched every so often while he waited patiently for whoever was going to say the prayer to say it.

Maru blushed slightly at the thought of him giving grace. He rubbed his neck and let out a breath of air. "Okay." He crossed his hands and set them on the table bowing his head and closeing his eyes. "God is good. God is great. Thank you for our food. By his hands, we must be fed. Thank you for our daily bread. Amen." He used the shorter verison that he would use around friends. He only said the long one when he was at home with family.
Nereus smiled again takeing anouther drink from his beer. Just because Jamil wouldn't tease him didn't mean he couldn't tease.His tail sneeked around the chair to the back of Jamil's leg and began to rub slowly along it. He glanced over at Jamil to see his reaction. Smileing already. He put his hands folded in his lap and bowed his head. He knew the words to the prayer so he liped it along with him. "Amen." He let out a breath of air. It had been so long since he prayed.
Mupeil did the same as Nereus. He folded his hands in his lap bowing his head at the table. "Amen." He liped a silent prayer to himself as well. Thank you lord for the gathering of my friends, family, and those that mean most important to me. May everyone be blessed with your glory and travel saftly. After he was done he looked back up and smiled. He should call vNelakv when they were done eating and wish her happy holidays and make sure she is okay.

Jamil glanced at Nereus moving slightly so the tail could caress the back of his knee it was always so senstive there. He didn't know the pray kind of ironic wasn't it so he stay silenet just adding afterwards for Neru safety.
Sheridan listened to the pray missing it slightly it had been a long time since he prayed he forgot almost all of it. "Amen. Now pass the food."

"Amen..." Kuma nods in repsonse to the prayer, and then somewhat jestingly raises his beer bottle again. "Or as my grandfather always put it. "Father, Son and Holy Ghost, who eats the fastest gets the most...." Mind...he always got nailed with a wooden spoon when he said it...but he said it anyway..."

Elros added her own soft "Amen" then chuckled at Kuma and sipped her beer, looking over the food and trying to decide what would suit her tastes best.
Roka mouthed the word "Amen" when Maru had finished speaking then smiled around the table before reaching over to tap Elros' shoulder and showing her his notepad. "Pass the salad please."

Maru laughed at Kuma's comment and took his beer bottle up and took a drink of it. He reached over and grabed what was near to him passing it down and around the table till everyone got what they wanted out of it and he set it back where it was.
Nereus smiled and tryed to tickle behind his knee with his tail but it was harder without hands. He smiled at Kuma's comment and raised his beer takeing a drink setting it back down. He reached in front of him and passed around what he had till everyone got some of it.
Mupeil raised his glass of water and took a drink of it. He took some of the salad that was made and put it on his plate. He helped give around all the food till everyone was settled with food. He smiled and took a bite of his salad. Finaly his stomach was satisfide.
