Lina rushed over and nearly lost her lunch. "Oh my god! Bastien!" She rushed into Miraldae, burying her head in his chest. "D-d-did.. he... die? He didnt... die.." She began sobbing, shivering as waves of nausia and sudden shock slammed her like a ton of bricks.

 "Unless he managed to teleport away at the last minute or something, he's probably dead." Miraldae said, a little surprised as Lina suddenly rushed over at him and suddenly burried herself into him. This wasn't how he would have expected a famous bounty hunter to act at all. Miraldae was hardered more than most people simple because of the amount of death he had seen, but he had assumed Lina would at least be able to take this. "Is this... the first time you've seen a comrade die?" he asked hesitantly, not quite sure whether to try and pry Lina off of him or just leave her there.

Lina sobbed. "You two were my first comrads..." She sniffed, letting him go. "Im sorry. It must be demeaning to you to hold a bounty huntress like that.." She sniffed, heading towards the stairs. "Lets get out of this hellhole." She tried to sound tough, not wanting Miraldae to think she was weak.

Miraldae was silent for a moment before hurrying up to catch up to Lina. He placed a hand gently on her shoulder to stop her before he passed her. "Why don't I take the front. You need time to sort things out in your mind anyway." he said with a gentle smile before turning back to watch where he was going.

Miraldae simply shrugged. "Wherever you want to go." he replied, holding out a hand to stop her as he looked around the corner to make sure nothing was coming. The corpse of the dragon he had slain on the way up was still laying in the hall, but strangly it looked deserted other than that. So he walked back around the corner and began heading down the hall again.

"Sounds like a plan." Miraldae said with a nod. He continued to watch ahead catiously for any danger as they decended the tower.

Zen appeared at the bottom of the spire and looked all the way up. He waited for Meshik to appear as well before he began climbing the spire again. It was just like the last time he was getting his Angel Eclipse off Renata and Daniel.

Meshik appeared at the same time as Zen and followed him in silence. Already he was planning his escape. He knew what his friends were doing, so he knew what would be convenient and what wouldn't be. And here, he had no fear of Durrahn. So he could try to escape without worrying about being taken over first. It was a favorable situation for him, now all he had to do was wait for the right moment.

A moment later, groups of soldiers appeared right behind Meshik and Zen. "Look how special you are. You have a whole squad here to escort you." He said, as he began to climb the endless staircase of the stratus spire.

Meshik just snarled at Zen as they walked through the Spire.
He was watching Seth and Kya with more interest than the rest of the world, and so he had heard Seth's call. So they know Zen and Meshik are here? That confused him a little, but then remembered a little something from the past that made some sense to him. Seth should be able to sense that amount of magic being used. So, Meshik was going to silently obey Zen until the right time.

Zen kept walking up the stairs, getting bored of the spire already. Why was it so long of a climb? Never the less, he was getting his new world so he shouldn't complain. To his thinking, he was unstoppable now. "Meshik, do you know even what you're being used for? You're not going to be just firing your Angel Eclipse power at just anything." He said, knowing Meshik wouldn't know the answer the question. Only Zen knew what he was really going to fire at with the Angel Eclipse power from Meshik.
