Fuzen had been watching the people of Haven for some time. He had been her for forty years and no-one had choose to pay him any heed. He always seemed to be the centaur that was obsesed with necromancy. He was a little disappointed in the fact that the people who had actualy looked at him, only noticed the "dark" books he was reading. Not once had they noticed the druid books, or the the books embedded with the ancinet greek symbol for life. After the HQs had been destroyed and the tavern was the only building still intact, so he was left with nothing to do but observe the establishment known as the Titan's Rest. He had been in the shadows of the back door for weeks observing the different heros and villians that had come through the place. He was very intrigued with their talk of the mainland, he had not been their for so long... what kind of just evil had ascended upon his home? His thoughts trailed to Kaori, the girl whos dreams were responsible for transforming him into this beast. Fuzen snapped out of his dazed and trotted to the back door of the bar. He found the bottle that the girl just before had used to unlock to door. He withdrew the key from it's container and he entered through this "discreet" way. He did fancy a drink, but he also wanted some social interaction. It had been a long time since he had been accompanied by living people, and he was growing fearful he might not know how to have humane interactions if he did not do so soon.

Ruby rolled Bobby onto the bed in the back room, and went back out to check on the food supplies. She found a flashlight in a drawer by the bed, and took it with her. It was a wonder the building had not been ransacked, then again, the locals were all more than afraid of Anc.
Ruby looked through the cupboards of the kitchen, shuffling through what could be stored, and what was perishable. She rested the light on a jar of pickled mystery meat, and wondered if there would ever be a time she could be hungry enough to eat that.
Her actions paused when she heard the back door open. She placed the jar back into the cupoard and flipped off the flashlight, relying on her familiarity of the place to work her way through.
It wasn't Anc, he would have made ten times more noise, and gone through the front. Alloran was more discreet, but would not waste his time with the back entrance. Ruby kept herself quiet, waiting to get a good view of the intruder.

Fuzen walked in silently taking in his surroundings. He heard comotion in the kitchen as someone was tried to forge up a meal. His trot was steady, not at all reflecting the anxiety that he was holding to meet someone new. He long to have the company of another so that the silence of loneliness did not destory his social responsibilities. He knocked on the wall to try and display some source of fomaility. "Excuse my intrusion," Forzen said politley, "but, I have observed Haven's residents for a long while, keeping to myself in my studies. I was wondering if anyone here could tell me of the happenings on the mainland?" Fuzen trotted closer to the kitchen so that he could do a formal introduction. Once he had approached the entrance to the kitchen he rested he bend on of his frontal horse legs while the other was tucked underneath himself, he tilted his human torso so that it would be lower then the average human, a bow of a sort, giving the impression that he was really a decent person. That might have been the case once, but know he was solely driven by his own wicked emotions and schemes. He had to know about the mainland before he tried to take over Haven. He had to know how the regulars would act if Haven was taken over, what type of paranoia would plague them if any at all. ((I gtg for the nighte peace))

Ruby fumbled with the flashlight, she turned it on and shined it right in the newcomer's face. "What kind of introduction was that? You don't tell people you've been watching them for a long while. Name, date of birth, social security number, and home address. Come on now, we don't have all day, and I ain't gonna just trust a fellow off the street. "
She held a confident stance. One hand on her hip, her chin high. But the light of the flashlight wavered ever so slightly, as she was unable to control the shaking of her hand.

Fuzen smiled as he got into full stance, with doing so he was only a little smaller then Anc. "I see that no one can trust anyone these days, but I do understand why." he stalled trying to think which name he should give her, "Fuzen is what I am often addressed by, I do not have a current residence, and you do not ask someone's age when you first meet them, tis quite rude. Pardon me, if the knowllege of my being aware of my surroundings frieghtens(sp?) you, my intentions were pure. " Fuzen's upper torso moved forward a little to "warn" her that he was going to step closer. He did not want to startle her, this was the first time in a while he had talked to anyone, and even longer since he had talk to a female. "I do not care much for the Titan, and I see you know him quite well. I was wondering if you had a stable that I could rest in? And, if not too much to ask, some food I could purchase?" Fuzen eyes scaled Ruby's body studying her figure intently. It looked as if he was checking her out, but we all know his intentions were to evaluate her physique.

Ruby made a face, "excuse me? Should I offer you a microscope? Or will your natural eye's do just fine? Y'know I can turn around in circles if yer needin too." She tapped her foot against the kitchen floor, her arms crossed.
She didn't trust him, not because of his appearance, or the odd circumstances in which they met, she didn't trust the oddly polite behavior. Where she was raised folks were raised to be polite. There was a natural genteelness, and then there was the top-coat of paint, where a man tried to disguise his intentions with an appearance of proper manner. She had met plenty of the second type, dated a few of them.
She had also met a few of the first, and she knew that a polite man would never be so defensive. He would never react sharply to a question, no matter how intrusive, perhaps he would sidestep it, but he would keep his cool. His response, of "pardon me, if the knowledge of my being aware of my surroundings frightens you, my intentions were pure," attempted to throw the guilt onto her, for doubting his intentions. No gentleman would redistribute guilt like that, he would apologize, not ask for fogiveness. And no gentleman would glance so openly at her body, for whatever reason.
Ruby had every mind to turn him out, but as always she felt a tug of conscience. She was always a soft hearted one. "We don't have a stable, but we got a storage type of room that might fit yer needs. I'll bring you some food once I make us all a meal. I doubt yer money would be any good to us, so you might as well keep it."

Fuzen took note of the change in her behavoir and adjusted his behavior accordingly. "I am sorry for giving a false perception to who I am. It is just rather difficult to company for someone who is deemed evil. " he smiled then turned to leave, " I appreciate the the offer, but I respectfuly decline. I commend you on seeing my false persona, but a little advice if you are willing to hear me out," he paused taking a moment to decide if he should tell her without waiting for her approval, "I could tell you became suspcious of me because your reaction to me changed. You voicetone changed and your comments were flung to give you time to evaluate how you should react to me." he paused a moment, " You then decided to give me lodging, saying my money was probally of no use, not knowing my history. A good tavern owner or employee would not so readily reject a traveller's money without knowing what they might pay with." Fuzen bowed as he turned back around to leave. "I enjoyed your company, dear Ruby and maybe we could speak again, but I will take my leave. Enjoy your night." Fuzen walked out the back door and trotted slowly down the street.

Giatronist You then decided to give me lodging, saying my money was probally of no use, not knowing my history. A good tavern owner or employee would not so readily reject a traveller's money without knowing what they might pay with." ((I think she meant that money isn't really worth much right now in Haven, since the mainland seems mostly destroyed, and the government along with it))

((Right on, Streak)).
"Well if I didn't know you were a villain then, I sure as hell do now, only villains give out such long drawn out monologues." She waved him off as he left. "You be careful out there."
She chuckled to herself. She hadn't even thought about hidin' her suspicion, never occured to her that she would ever need to. She also laughed because there was a reason she had been the cook at the tavern rather than the keeper or a bartender, Anc knew she wasn't any good with money.

Slate came lumbering in, dumping the three men on the ground. He glanced at the centaur leaving, bowing lightly to him.
"My sir, do you have knowledge of the ways of medicine? I have three men here, all injured in one form or another, and I must admit my lack of medicinal know-how." Slate turned at a noise, spotting Ruby. "This does seem to be the last stronghold." He murmerd as he awaited a response from the centaur.

"I'm still concious enough to move." Alloran grunted, pushing himself up, sitting on a stool. "Yeh need a damned blanket fer yer arm there, Farren." Alloran paused, yelling out. "Ruby, come make me a drink, I'm too tired to be bothered."

Ruby glared at Farren and Alloran, "You don't even bother to give a proper greeting. It's gettin' to where the evil folks are more proper than you supposed good boys." Ruby went into the kitchen and got Alloran a tall glass of tepid water. "Drink it and be gratefull, and next time say please."
She turned around, walking back to the kitchen, muttering about stupid heroes that ask villains for medical help, when there's a decent healer already available in the group.
