Amnity stretched a bit, looking over at the clock hanging over the kitchen door. "What do we do now?" She looked back over to the guys. "Wanna go training? I doubt I'm the only one that needs to sharpen her hunting skills."

"Sure, for once, I think it`s smarter not to leave Haven, with Tokeru gone and the army building up outside." He wasn`t sure himself if he wanted to go outside, he knew it was stuipid, but couldn`t resist fighting an army for revenge. He began walking toward the training room, gesturing for the others to follow.

Amnity followed after them, humming lightly on the way. She was still pretty happy, and nothing could really dampen her mood.

Kuro walked into the kitchen, a few of the cooks took off, knowing he wanted to cook instead. He grabbed two steaks out of the refridgerator, put them on a cutting board and began cutting.

Mephlius walked in and sat down, trying his hardest not to make derogative remarks about how slow Kuro was cooking. Kuro wasn't actually slow at all... but Mephlius was impatient. At least... when it came to food.

In moments, the steaks were cut into relativly small strips, which he dropped into two frying pans evenly. "Just gimme a second." He drained some of the blood from the steaks into a small dish for himself later. He put the heat on high, at the risk of fire and burning. With a hand on both handles, he flipped both up, catching all the pieces in the pan.

"Show off." Amnity commented as she entered the mess hall. She had come later then Mephlius because she wasn't as impatient. Quickly, she sat down next to him as her eyes were still glued to the kitchen. "Leave the blood in mine Kuro! I like it that way." It made the meat more tender, and easier to chew.

Mephlius sat there, still speechless for fear of saying something stupid. Err... more stupid than the last things he said.

He put half the blood back into one pan. "You better not ask for it too Meph, i`m having some too." The steaks began to brown, still only medium rare. "Hey Meph, you don`t like it too cooked, do you?" He flipped Amnity`s up, the fire following it up.

"R-r-rare. P-p-please." The smell of the meat sweetly caressed his powerful sense of smell. He hadn't eaten in... a good time. And he had just fought, making him more hungry.

He turned the heat down on Amnity`s steak as he brought Meph his directly in the frying pan. "You must be hungry."

Mephlius glared at Kuro for a second, as if to say "Duh?!". But only for a second, as his attention was quickly diverted to his steak. He picked it up with his bare hands, and ate it quickly.

Amnity thanked Kuro for the steak, not thinking that she was that hungry anyway. When she looked down at the tender, medium rare steak, her stomach roared at her to dig in. And dig in she did, without even using eating utensils. She grabbed the steak like Mephlius did and tore the meat up quickly.
