The monsterous scorpion, like all the others would fall before Raisuke's strength. Raisuke was beaming, despite having to gaping wounds from scorpion tail strikes. But his over confident, happy look would be spooked. The scorpion moved and it was more than a twitch. It was weekly trying to get up. Raisuke would arrogantly resheathe his ninjato. Then he would step forward, dropping a heel on the scorpions head.
Rai hp: 39-2= 37

As his foot dropped atop of the scorpions head, he would push with all his weight, pivoting on his heel. The shell around it cracking as Rai lifted his foot back off. With the scorpion now lifeless, it was over. "Time to go home now. I need to treat these wounds.." He would take a few more steps then he would vanish. His image seemed to fold into itself. He earned a little rest.

Gamibuyou no Fubuki (normal): 1 - 6 + 0 (+5) = 1 - 11

Shinratsu was breathing heavily, after all, he had taken quite a bit of damage too. However, there was still clean-up work to do. He did not kill the two scorpions: they were still alive. Or rather...it was more like he didn't have enough the strength to incapacitate Poison in a single blow.
Poison was unconscious however, and could not struggle against its prison of ice. He would leave his Hyouton to do its work. However, while the shuriken did tear through Strength's armored shell...the wounds were not fatal. Shinratsu limped towards the unconscious Strength. Damn...he was pretty sure now that he had broken something. Taking out a kunai he stabbed it into where Strength's head connected with its body.
One blow should be enough.

The scorpion's head was separated cleanly from its body. Shinratsu watched, almost pitying the creature... All living things...so fragile... A transient moment, an ephemeral reality... Wearily...Shinratsu strapped on his gauntlets again, sealing away his Hyouton for the time being.
Time to examine where Poison had nicked him. He should try to remove the poison from his system... However...he had never done this before, to extract poison out directly by chakra control... And his Hyouton Creation...what if...?
Whatever. It's already been hurting him all these years, what matter would a little more injury from his kekkai genkai amount to? Besides, these gauntlets would block out the contacted Hyouton chakra too. A pale blue glow surrounded his right palm as Shinratsu began the extraction process.

It would be more difficult than he expected. Shinratsu held steady though: as a blackish liquid came out from the wound...yet, only a few meager drops. He had been stung by Poison at least three times... There would have been more injections of poison. Just concentrate... It was a fair start anyways - he hadn't expected to draw out all of the poison easily in one go. Of course...considering this was scorpions still in the baby stage he had fought, thankfully, the time it takes for the venom to fully affect a human was longer than the adult variation. And his Hyouton limit bought him more time...he had gotten through the battle fine... However, what was important was that he needs to get the poison out of his body...

Guh. It wasn't working... Shinratsu noted. Less and less poison he was able to draw out. At least he had somewhat gotten out a few drops at first. He distantly made a mental note to talk to Yokou after this about using chakra to draw out poisons... It was either he wasn't doing it correctly...or his chakra control was inadequate. But Shinratsu was too harsh on himself...among the Genin of his class, it was clear that he had the superior chakra control. But never was enough enough...if he can't even managed to have himself stay alive...
And to think, he was going to ask Yokou about the medical field... How could he even hope to join the ranks of the medics, if he can't even save himself...

Channel...more strength... The blue flare of chakra darkened slightly, becoming more green. That's...right... It's supposed to look like this... That was how the colour of Yokou's chakra looked like when she had healed him. Drawn out the poison using the chakra as a sucking point... A bit like a vacuum if he wasn't wrong...instead of releasing chakra, drawing out poisons uses the reverse flow for a vacuum effect and then very quickly trapping the poison inside the chakra bubble.

Maybe he should just mix up antidotes the next time he does this... It was beginning to hurt now...yes...he could feel it. And the now unused to pain was quite unwelcome. It felt like his veins were being split open from the inside, as the poison was forced out of the body. Was it...was it supposed to be this painful...? Shin grimaced. It felt like he was being stabbed by thousands of knives...except stabbing would've been a little better, as the dulled nervous system wouldn't pick up the pain signals.
Yet...he welcomed the pain. It...reminded him that he was human, even when it wasn't felt for such a long time.

His mind was growing groggy... Undoubtedly, the poison was being to take effect: drawing some of its influence across his concentration. Even the chakra around his palm flickered, fading back to a pale blue... No good... The colour of that internal channeling was weak... Out, out...come on... But the poison wasn't leaving his body, almost as if paralyzed...suspended from being drawn out so suddenly from the veins...yet, when his chakra flow suddenly became more stunted... The vacuum effect had too grown much weaker. Undoubtedly...he was drawing out less poison.
