Well top 10 as it's rather hard to make a selection, I'd have to go with:
1. Yuka Kazami, no question.
2. Patchouli Knowledge.
3. Koishi Komeiji
4. Utsuho Reiuji
5. Keine/Mouku/Kaguya(Alas they all tie for the same spot.)
6. Reimu Hakurei
7. China Hong Meiling
8. Yukari Yakumo
9. Marisa Kirisame
10. Suika Ibuki
11. Mimi-chan the I.C.B.M. I wonder what Marisa ever did with that one... rolleyes

1. Sakuya Izayoi, knife throwing, time stopping maid, one word, awesome! Also has the most awesome theme music in Touhou!
2. Reisen Udongein Inaba, moon rabbits ftw!
3. Marisa Kirisame, giant magic laser beam of doom! Woot!

I have to pick favorites? Very difficult...I genuinely like most of the characters. There are really only a couple I don't like ( ******** SHOU! )
My top favorites change all the time, but I managed to narrow it down to my CURRENT top 10. I excluded some characters I really didn't want to, but the list would have been way overkill if I didn't ,><
1] Chen - I freaking love Chen. 'Nuff said.
2] Sariel - Not a very well-liked character, but she's just so freaking epic!
3] Yuka/Yukari - The two all-powerful parasol gals tie for 3rd. I can never decide which I like more...
4] Byakuren - I love her character design! ...oh, and her message of peace, too ,^^
5] Komachi - Epically lazy: definitely my role model. Also my favorite SWR/UNL character.
6] Momiji - Very little canon appearance, but she's so cool. Also, Katsugeki Kidan. Look it up if you don't know, seriously, it rocks.
7] Koishi - One of the first characters I ever learned about. I love her ability, spell cards, and references to psychology.
8] Minoriko - Why does nobody else like her? ;_; I think she's quite cute and I like her swirly attacks. Favorite stage 1 boss :3
9] Kogasa - Surprised? X3 I tend to really like umbrella girls...and I know this sounds cruel, but I love how pathetic she is ,^^
10] Suika - She would have scored higher, but every now and then she really gets on my nerves. Still one of my favorites for being so ridiculous XD

11)Patchouli,pretty quiet how i see her.
12)Koakuma, hmmm Has anyone Seen her before??? I have xD Patchouli's Helper or so.

Satori Komeiji, misunderstood girl is misunderstood. Also that one kagaagetarou series.
Maribel Hearn, yes Hearn since Han holds no significance whatsoever.
Patchouli Knowledge, weird fetish is also quite weird.
