She shrugged. "I don't have a clue, but he is your father, you're a goddess, you have to have a father. " She walked away to look for Belinda. She had no time for a girl that didn't know what was going on. She could point her back to Ran but she needed to talk to Belinda.

She frowned and knitted her brows. "How old are you child?" she asked. Surely someone that had been educated as most with god blood were would know that even a goddess couldn't be born from a wish. Well, unless their parent was a god or goddess of wishes.

I dont know..I never counted. Momma used to tell me she wuished long and hard for soem oen to lov and care for and I was born.

Mariata knitted her brows again. "May I ask your mother's name?" She had a feeling that in a way the girl's mother was telling the truth, but not exactly. If she was thinking of the goddess she believed she was then it was possible she had simply worded it to make her daughter think she had no father.
