Gem took a long moment to take control back over her mind and body. She breathed and slowly stood. Her expression was content and she held a small smile on her lips, She felt like killing herself. But that feeling was not uncommon for her to have. Except normally she had a few reasons not to, and now she only had one. She had to fix her bike. Slowly she patted out of her room and down to the garage, were her bike lay still up on the rack. She used her only replacement tie and screwed it in place. She had hesitated to use it because now she would not be able to fix it if it got wreaked too. But right now she just wanted to work on her baby. She took out a polishing cloth and wax, and started to rub it down, her hands gliding smoothly over the jet black finish.

Joker frowned and looked at Serrnedy, "Don't even start that. It hurts enough Serrenedy." his chin quivered but his face showed no other emotion.

Gem scrubbed and buffed that bike until it shown like a new star in the night’s sky. She had to keep work at the front of her mind, and focus just on that. But much too soon her baby was completely clean and running smoothly, she had no more tasks left to do and that burning empty sensation washed over her. She needed a job; after only a few minutes she decided that she would have to go after King once more, and this time on her own. If she died than so be it, it would be better than living in this hell any longer. She took off her bug, and set it on the hood of one of the sports cars. Gem made sure her gun was still in working condition than mounted her bike. She tugged her helmet on over her head then started the powerful machine that she loved so dearly.

Joker sighed, "I know Serrenedy, I know. Life does suck and I am trying to scrape my life back together, I want my father back. I want him to be alive, I want him to guide me like he used to, to help me train for the obstacles ahead. But he never will be. My life will never be normal as according to the definition of the word, and it will never be abnormal to me Serrenedy. But I live, if you want to talk to someone full of hope, talk to my brother." he said. Grief flashed across his face before pain and agony.

Kev ran into the room and covered his eyes to Serrenedy politley with a small smile. He kneeled next to Joker, "Big brother, are you okay? I heard there was a nasty accident... How many bones did you breack?!" he exclaimed looking at his brother's mangled body in astonishment.

Joker shrugged, "A few Kev. Go to the Loom and search for names please, I can't at the moment." he asked.

Kev nodded, "I'll show you the assignments when I'm done." he said and ran back out of the room.

((Bump))

Joker shook his head, "It isn't you. I miss my dad and I want him back. I just don't talk about him often." he frowned and looked at Serrenedy, "Look, Serrenedy, I like you. I always have, but everything is so damned confusing!"

Kev smiled and waved back, moving his eyes so he could see Serrenedy's face before he was out of sight. He hurried to the Loom to get the assignments.
