The girl thought back a bit. Monsters...when she and her brother were with Huey, the blizzard had already started, so she hadn't seen any of them. But there had been dark shapes she'd glimpsed before the snow completely buried them, huge wolves and odd rounded objects. This time, she didn't shiver from the cold--there were monsters out and about, and Rie didn't enjoy that thought.
"You think someone's behind this?" she asked. "I don't...I don't come here often, my brother brought me for the holiday, so I'm not familiar with the area...I'm Rie, by the way. Aidan's sister."
"Y-you did WHAT?!" Aidan nearly tackled Alihi, embracing her tightly; "Now that you mention it, you do look kind of pale--we gotta get you warm or to Rhys or something, stat!"
He seized her arm (a bit roughly, actually) and began to tug her towards the hall and to the nearest healer he could find.

DragonGirl_Aya Aran34 (I dont think you can just take off Talons like that, and since he's in his Human form right now. So the only way to get them would be by cutting them off when he's in Hawk form amrite?) (Alright, still doesn't make much sense but Ill deal with it. Amelia nodded once. "I think so. Those monsters didn't appear back on Magvel until the problems with Formortiis and him resurrecting them to serve as his horde... so their appearance has to coincide with someone or something evil. It has to be."
She looked over at Rie and smiled a little. "Amelia. It's good to meet you, Rie," she told her, sounding cheerful after her dim, introspective explanation. She held out a hand for Rie to shake.

Alihi was a bit surprised by Aidan's reaction. "A-Aidan! I said I was FINE!" She resisted Aidan's tug to the best of her ability, but did end up failing at stopping him from dragging her to the hall.
"I've got a soft spot for kids, alright? Besides, I'm--" She covered her mouth with her free arm to cough again. "--Fine!"

Anna blinked, shocked, jerking back in a familiar gesture. But then, she burst out laughing. "Haha, I guess you got me then," she told Tibarn, smiling again. "As for get to the kitchen? Get there yourself." She tossed the talon at his head, then beat a hasty retreat to the nearby stairs. There was more than one way to exit the house!

"NO, YOU'RE NOT." He continued to lug the girl around, looking around for Rhys or Victoria or Rei... "You could get pneumonia! That's serious, especially since we don't have any 21st-century medicine here!! If you get sick because I didn't do anything, I'll never forgive myself!"
"Nice to meet you, Amelia," Rie replied, accepting the handshake and smiling.
"Magvel...? I've never heard of that place. Is it on Elibe?"
((EDIT: I was expecting shocked Edgeworth myself, Anna. XDDD))

Amelia shook her head. "No, it's not. It's some distance away from here. It's a nice place, now that the monsters are gone, really," she told Rie. She laughed sheepishly. "Maybe someday I could show you Grado. It's the country I'm from. There's also Jehanna, the desert, and Carcino..."

Tibarn caught the talon easily and it faded in his hand since, well, it didn't really exist in any tangible sense. "... I have a headache," he murmured. Talking with people who existed partially outside the spectrum of his personal reality always did that to him.

Anna dashed up the stairs, then went running down the hall. Oh! There was a window! She made for it... only to find out that there was some sort of staff somebody had left in the middle of the hallway, and she tripped and went sprawling. She cried out involuntarily, and didn't bother to get up for a minute as tears streamed from her eyes. That had HURT.

"I do like traveling...I'd love to." Rie grinned and sat up a bit straighter. "If you've never been to Elibe, you should see Sacae, too. I've only been there once, but...the plains are beautiful. I don't think anyone lives in our deserts, though. Nabata's mostly empty."
((Except Anna's hair would hopefully remain intact. XD))

Rei wandered the house, looking for someone to hang out with. He soon stumbled upon Amelia and the little girl that was with Aidan.
"Hey Amelia. Who's this?"

"Jehanna's population is mostly centered in the capital. It's a very beautiful place. I went there once." Amelia smiled and looked up at the ceiling again. "The sun setting on the blazing sands is really exquisite. I've never seen anything like it since."
Then again, when we went, it was to fight off a horde of Valter and Caellach's men... she thought. She didn't voice this, seeing no need to.
Amelia looked up as Rei walked over. "This is Rie! She's not little, actually, about the same age as me, I bet. How old are you, exactly?" Amelia looked over at her curiously.

"Come on, Alihi. Please?" Aidan's mind wandered--there was a time when a friend of his had nearly died of pneumonia. "Like I said, I won't forgive myself if you get sick."
Rie raised an eyebrow--it was that mage who'd tackled her and Aidan earlier...
"I'm two years younger than Brother. So I'm--((I DON'T KNOW HOW OLD AIDAN IS IN THIS CONTEXT 'CAUSE HE'S STILL YOUNG BUT HE AND BLOSSOM ARE ALREADY MARRIED APPARENTLY))--years old."
