"Oh...sorry about that. I kinda have a bad memory. I think I have seen you before. It's hard to tell with all the young recruits alot of them thinking I'm to old to be a guard blah blah blah." He explained feeling akward.
"Amyway we had a situation of an assassin trying to attack the royals today and you were not there. Where were you when it happened?"

Leeria's eyes filmed over and blurred as she tried to remember.
"I...I... I don't know. Whenever I try and think about it, my brain goes... numb? No, more misty. I blacked out, and woke after the incident, in the middle of the forest, out of my bird form."

"Hmm I see, perhaps you've pushed yourself to far. I'll let it pass since the Princess or the Royals were harmed. But I can't be there to hold her hand forever. I'll need someone to succeed me soon, I'm almost eighty. YOu can go and I'll excuse you from trainning, maybe rest is all you need." He said politely.

Elesana deepened the kiss slightly and sighed. Her whole body was on fire. She pulled away for a second to whisper the word "room" before kissing him again. 23 and still a virgin. How sad.

He kissed her back. He had on hand on her waist and on on her neck. He softly pulled away. "Wait, what?" He whispered

"My room... Now.." She whispered seductively. And started to walk out of the woods towards the castle. She looked behind her at Victor and giggled, beckoning him to follow her.

"Sir?" Leeria looked puzzled, "I failed, and I get to be excused from training? No punishment? No beating? Not that I'd like it, but I've made a huge, life threatning error!"
In her mind, Leeria admired the Captain. Eighty is a grand number, he should be respected like an elder! More then that, he doesn't seem unfit or unwell at all! Perhap's he's going senile, but he could have a secratery to keep records, since he's still a brilliant leader!

"Well one person can't be expected to be everywhere now can they? Besides, as long as everyone is unharmed I see no reason, plus your illness or whatever it is was punishment enough. Besides I need my soldiers to be healthy, what is better? A queen guarded by sick guards, or healthy guards reporting for duty while the queen was protected by another guard?" He asked retorically.
"But right now since there's been an assassin attack I'm making my soldiers ready and on patrol. one person wont make to much of a weakness especially since I'll look after the royals myself as well." He reasoned. He didn't really care for fighting anymore so he just hopes there wont be any fights after the years of constant battles he dealt with.

Leeria nodded, his explanation made sense.
"I think I'll be ready by later today, or perhaps tomorrow. I'm only feeling tired. It's wierd, because it feels like the same fatigue you feel after using too much magic."

"Does it look like I care?" She giggled then ran into the castle, pulling him along behind her. They went to her room. She locked the door behind them. ((don't worry I would never break one of my own rules.)) No one but Elesana's personal maid would know what happened until morning. She drifted of into a sweet sleep, Victor by her side.

"Well then just take care of yourself then. I need to be alone for a moment, your dismissed." He said softly as he escorted her out. He sighed as he thought about his life and tried to get some sleep.

HE fell asleep beside her. Pretty happy about the day. HE slept soundly. Not moving much.

She nodded, relieved to be out of trouble.
She transformed into a big falcon, catching air drifts as to not exert too much energy. She spotted her tree and landed on it, transforming into a squirrel.
She could've slept indoors, on her hard, practical bed. However, she needed as much rest as possible, and the forest's sounds accompanied by her fluffy tail lulled her into a deeper sleep.
She dreamed of big acorns and dark shadows.
