11th Febuary, 2007 Okay, so, we've made a new Subforum eek Nifty, huh?The purpose of this Subforum is, as the name suggests, for people to post their own ideas of thoughts on improving the guild. By making your own forums, you can spark any topic and keep the thread focused on just that, rather than having to shift through all the pages in just one suggestion thread. PLEASE USE THIS SUBFORUM <3 ~ Seffi

I want to freaking RP. Therefore, today while I wait for my little brother to get off the xbox, I'm going to read through the suggestion forum, et cetera, add my two cents, then push for its closure and the reinsertion of the MRP forum.
Whoo!
Right?
I contacted Seffi about anything I had missed in the past three months, and he simply stated that we were still working on a role-play. Still.
And, in other news, a nice little glitch deleted eleven waiting PMs when I logged on yesterday. If yours was one of them, I'm not ignoring you-- I simply never got it. XP

I'm almost done with KOTOR and my final AP Econ test is today, so hopefully I'll get to hashing through all of your RP suggestions this week. <3
Thanks for your patience. ;3 K

Hey everyone! After two weeks of waiting, the news is finally in: Seph and K have a plotline spread out! We'll start refining it in the coming week, and it will be unveiled ASAP. X3
K Edit: Of course, that is assuming that Seffi is not powdering his nose during that week x3

So, I worked on that storyline today. It's turning out pretty nifty: it's just what we need to give everyone what they want! There's going to be ample Jedi academy training (why is that so popular?), and Dark Jedi angsting (again, SO POPULAR!), and military factions (because they kick a** and, thus, are popular), as well as a string-together storyline, with fun NPCs, canon-character cameos, events, and a whole lot of blood and guts storyline!
Incidentally, I haven't mailed it to Seph yet, because I know he's currently mourning the imminent loss of Tony Blair. It's okay, Seph... shhh... it's okay...
K EDIT: K will be gone and out of her home country May 12-19, entertaining the Norwegian culture with her awesome. Bug Seph for plot gizkas in that time; I won't have access to the Internet. ;3

K's dying of jet lag and Norway allergies, but she's somehow managed to drag herself out of bed. In the last few days, she's felt closer than ever to Seph and Maniac, partly because she was. Europe's all well and good, except for hotel breakfasts. And the whole thing about doing monetary conversions in one's head. And the language barrier. And the fact that I was halfway through The Cardinal of the Kremlin, and all I wanted to do was find out whether or not Misha escapes communist Russia alive. AUGH.
Lucky everyone else, though, she finished the book during her second leg back to the US, and she's had a good night's sleep, even though her English Brekfast tea isn't soothing her throat like it's supposed to. She also has a rash, and wonders what exactly it is in Norway that makes her feel like she wants to die.
BUT!! I had three articles written about the marching band in Norwegian newspapers, and one of our political delegates translated it for my colleagues and I-- talk about an egotrip. I should go back to Norway, if only to reclaim my godlike status.
But, I guess this guild is a good second.
Anyway, with all that out of the way, I need to check up on Seph to see if he got anywhere on the RP, and if not, pray that he has a good excuse. <3 But I'll do that later. Right now, I want to crawl under a rock and die of fatigue and grossness.
Much love and pomp, K

May 21, 2007 New RP! Yay! No. It isn't out yet. I just thought I'd get to the point xD. Though tons of thought has been put into it, and Seffi has had several brainwaves while K has been enjoying the magic that is Europe (shame she couldn't come to England Dx), Seffi's exams start this week. Well, to be exact, they don't start will Wednesday, but he needs to get into a normal sleeping pattern (no more waking up at 8pm =(). This means, because of the time difference, K and himself may have less time to dicuss the remaining issues in the RP which, in turn, could delay the RP slightly. Yes, we know, we're taking ages. However! The longer we take, the better it'll be. Hopefully xDLove love love ~ SeffiDisclaimer: Please forgive any spelling, grammar or any other such mistake in this announcement. Seffi has finished off an entire bottle of Jack Daniels, in the past couple of hours, to himself and in therefore not liable for any misconduct.

While Seph valiantly fights against his exams-- he has to, now that we've realized that it's too late for me to fly back to Europe and take the exam for him-- and with my school officially being done for the year, I finally have some time on my hands not dedicated to Norway or what-not. (The hard fact that I'm winging my AP Econ test, too, opens up some time.) I'll be organizing threads and information starting TOMORROW, so keep your eyes open for roleplaying AWESOME.

Good morning, SWG! The rain outside ruined what would have been my morning walk, so I decided there's nothing like an early start on that role-play. X3 I'm tweaking some wording (and, perhaps, hopelessly suck on that all-important first-paragraph description), and I'll be working out the threads. I'm excited. X3

It's ridiculous how long it took me to do the Imperial Empire thread. Sorry, guys. XD A big shoutout to those who worked with the other threads. It's a thankless job, I'm telling you. X3
One more damn thread to go. We're almost there, guys. D:

Seph got a bad case of the lazies and bunked out last night instead of doing the Republic thread... which is okay, because a relaxed Seph is better than an uptight Seph. <3 I got most of it done, decided that my laptop mouse was going to mangle my hands, and set to work doing other miscellanae. Check the homepage, kids, and you can see that this roleplay is all about. Also, be sure to look through the threads so far- they're almsot done!
K //ARCHIVED:// Master Yoda You've waited days. Weeks. Months. Half of a year of scraping out plotlines, having plotlines shot down, bantering with members, and "studying up" on the Star Wars saga by nonstop KOTOR playing (yay, game mods! x3), the new roleplay plotline has been unveiled, and is rearing for some action. This time, we (the moderating team) have made some adjustments to accomodate (1.) user requests, (2.) the casual roleplayer, (3.) the hardcore-online-every-day!!1!1 roleplayer, (4.) the nit-pickers, (5.) Darth Vader, and (6.) those people who want to actually affect the plot. We, the SWG mod team, present "Star Wars: The Great Convergence. Again." The plotline can be found on the homepage, but for those of you who don't feel like clicking... Guild Plot An indiscernible number of years After the Battle of Yavin (ABY), the galaxy has reverted to its millennia-old ways. The Jedi are once again a respected force around the galaxy, mediating and applying force when and where necessary. The Republic is strong, enveloping the majority of inner planetary systems; the Senate wields an even power, and the largest majority of planets represented work in concert with the Jedi Order. For the intergalactic democracy, life and legislation could not be smoother. In a smaller corner of the galaxy, however, a different form of government is thriving. Having spent the last number of years growing and developing, the Galactic Empire is once again a strong force. Tucked away in the Braxant Sector, the Empire consists of a large interstellar fleet, and is ruled by a council of moffs. Predictably, the ever-present shadow of the Dark Side looms over Korriban. The Dark Jedi are once again dominating the aggressive side of the Force, and their numbers are as great as ever. Commanded by the Dark Lord of the Sith, they serve nothing more than their master and their own power-lusting desires. Meanwhile, on a small asteroid settlement somewhere in the Unknown Regions, a new disturbance in the Force is stirring. A small, elite faction has formed, and slowly, its deeds are spreading through the shadowy underground communities which seem to thrive in only the most utopian of republics. The work of this faction is barely whispered of, and only the bravest of citizens has the gall to speak its name... You have hopefully noticed the vagueness of this "plot." If you have, congratulations! You've uncovered the first cookie in our gizka jar. This plotline-- this backdrop-- should be enough to get all four major factions up and kicking. All of them can "do their own thing" while still being united by a common bond, the essence of Star Wars: BAD DIALOGUE a underlying disturbance in the Force. The second plot cookie is the tightly-controlled presence of an NPC faction. It will be controlled by moderators and/or deemed-elite roleplayers. This faction-- this plot device-- will serve as a catalyst. It will force the factions to think, to interact, and to develop. Best of all, not only will the roleplay react to the faction, the faction will react to the roleplayers. Users should be able to influence the plotline heavily in this setting, as should occur in all role-play, but, unfortunately, tends not to. There will also be "events" or "heroes" which show up. Because this takes place years- decades- who knows how long after the Trilogy events, classic characters, game characters, book characters shall make mod-controlled appearences. How? Force ghosts. Holocrons. Holorecordings. Visions. Spice-induced comas. You name it, we'll figure out how. Users can request "hero events," or mods can sporadically trigger them... it should add a fun sense of catalysm and spontaneousness to everyday roleplay. The Holonet thread, too, will be an integral part of the roleplay. Read up to find easter-egg news, bounties, plot gizkas, galactic news, slanderous gossip, everything that anyone wants to know. ;3 This roleplay should feel free, and all users should be at ease while taking part. We believe this is a great opportunity for all SWG members and any other Star Wars-aligned sentinents. We encourage you to explore the four main factions, consider your options, and post an application HERE!Roleplay threads will be opened by tomorrow. Until then, enjoy your imminent exploration! ~ SWG Moderator team

Oh, Force, I leave for two and a half weeks and come back to a zillion PM messages, double that number of join requests, and everyone followed the rules just PERFECTLY. <3 I'm so proud of you all. crying heart
Vacation was good, and for those of you who are old enough, I'm about as burned as Broodie after Tom left her on Tatooine. For you kiddies out there, I'm really sunburned. It hurts to move. D: Luckily, I used Tom Clancy as a deterrant. John Clark really works wonders, &c.
I'm catching myself up, so be patient. If I missed your PM, just PM me a reminder. XD Thanks to Guilyn for keeping things in order and working the App thread. ^_^

In the summertime, without school to weigh me down, I go on trips. A lot of trips. I was gone last month, and starting tomorrow, I'll be gone for about another week. XD But relax! I'm the one who should be worried. Five days away from my beloved Xbox?
How am I going to survive without some HK-HardXcore every morning?
I don't know, either. If you have any ideas, let me know.
But this devastating news isn't the only reason I'm mod-updating, you know. I need to make an RP reminder! (*Random RPers rejoices*) After much mulling, I made a tweak in the rules, spurred by a kid's PM about a bounty hunter's guild. You may begin as a neutral member of something-- but throughout time, you're going to need to ally yourself with a faction. It's just easy to hand out plot bunnies when there are only four major threads to worry about, with four major memberlists. Keep your eye out for a creative way to shove yourself into the plot!
Much love, K
