Ravenna frowned and shook her head. "Medea is a very powerful sorceress. She lives in this area and doesn't like to be disturbed. She's not fond of anyone, but she has a special hatered for anything male. Evidently her lover broke her heart and she's never really gotten over it..."

Lunar frowned. "How dare her lover break her heart! No lady should be treated like Medea was. I hope that lover was cursed into the Underworld..."He wraps a wing around his Mistress. "I would never do that to you.... I would rather be turned into stone then break your heart."

Ravenna turned her head up and kissed him. "And I would never break yours. Though don't go trying to help Medea. I wouldn't want to pit my magic against hers. I would not win."

Ravenna smiled. "I'm glad I don't have to worry about that anymore." She picked up a couple of grapes and plopped them into her mouth.

Lunar chuckles, then begins to feed his Mistress grapes. "Ah, though how should we avoid a confrotation with this lady? I do not want to lose you."

Ravenna leaned back against him like a greek goddess. "I'm afraid there's not much we can do. If we see her, you should stand behind me and keep your head down. I think we can get past her fairly easy."

"The only thing you would need to do would to be not address her and not to look at her."
Medea cackled at the pair as she came down the path. "Well, it seems these woods are crawling with riffraff anymore." She peered down her nose at the male with Ravenna. "I thought you knew better than to deal with...those."
Ravenna smiled and patted Lunar's hoof. "I like keeping one around. It's better than cursing those pesky jars that won't open easily."
Medea scowled. "Yes...they don't do much else other than that...I would love to rid the world of their pathetic attempt at life."

Ravenna shrugged. "If you did that, where would we all get our kicks?"
Medea frowned. "There are other ways to get them. They involve less...double crossing and otherwise no good beings."
Ravenna stood and yawned. "I'm sure it also involves less romance. I perfer my live bodies to your hard wood." She nodded for Lunar to get up. "Now, if you'll excuse us, we have herbs to gather elsewhere."

After they were well out of earshot, Ravenna gave Lunar a long, passionate kiss. "This is because you behaved so well back there." She smiled and ran the tip of her tail along his side.
