Haruka_rper Oh.. well, I should be quiet. Cause I've never been to Pakistan. Neither have I, but I've been to India and my mom was all "DON'T DRINK T3H WATER!! ONLY BOTTLED WATER!!!" So yeah.

And if the water is dirty... ain't it a bit nasty? o-o; Yeah but that's not what I'm warning her about. She'd have to boil the water and strain it before she drank it, to get rid of the impurities. AND DON'T USE ICE. I know...it's not necessarily dirty water, though. If you go to any foreign country they suggest not to drink the water because you just plain old won't be used to it. 3nodding I'm going to drink it anyway and get sick and I don't care until I'm used to it. gonk heart

Your father doesn't know how to deal with you. He's confused, as you are the oldest (right?) and are the first one going through growing up and trying to be independent. Even if you are in the right, he thinks (as parents do for some odd reason) that you are the oldest and should react calmly. That's what happened between my parents and my older brother, and their relationship is like walking on eggshells with concrete boots.
Sometimes you just have to tell them that you're sorry. If they ask you why, just say you're sorry for having to grow up. Usually that softens them up.
Now give your onee-chan a hug.

I wish it'd been that way with my family...my sister is the oldest...and she always got to do whatever she wanted and she was always the perfect daughter stare ...she injured me a lot and somehow it was never her fault @__@. When I get upset they expect me to shut up anyway...but they listen to every complaint of my sister...especially this most recent stupid thing...she whined so much they gave her a friggin apartment to herself. They're also paying for her college. I get loans and get to pay them back myself when I'm done. stare
I really hate when people tell me the youngest gets everything and the oldest gets all the crap...maybe it was like that for them, but definitely not in my house gonk

...I like that she said maybe talk about Islam on Fridays...I didn't even think about that. xd Maybe we could do a thread of sort of like..someone post a speech they found or something related to Islam...or even write one and post it...for us to read and learn from...or even debate if we think it's wrong. whee ...I wish we could delete posts though. So if something ended up in there that was off topic we could just get rid of it xd
