...trail mix is like, a healthy snack mix, it has nuts and stuff. Mine had almonds, cashews, peanuts, rasins, and m&m's. It's not as horrible as it could have been, but still.
Nuts and raisins are healthy, but they are calorie-rich, and nuts are also fat-rich. They're only really healthy in small, small amounts.
Let's look at what you probably ate. The average person needs to eat 20 points (Weight Watchers FlexPoints system, which is amazingly accurate and easy to follow, and I recommend WW to anyone at all) of food a day in order to lose weight, or 22 to 24 points of food in order to maintain their current weight.
One handful of M&Ms is about 3 points.
One handful of raisins is about 3 points.
One handful of nuts, any kind, is about 4 points; let's say you had three handfuls, so that's 12 points.
You probably ate about 18 points worth of food if you had five handfuls of trail mix in which all the ingredients were evenly distributed (about 1 small handful of each). In other words, nearly ALL the calories you needed to consume for that day.
If you wanted to work out to get rid of all that, it would take you about fifteen minutes of hard exercise for each point, or 3.5 hours of hard workout.
