The shadows was where Gragh the Impure watched. Seeing a being who matched his ideal image of death itself ingulf the van into flames. Gragh listened to their conflict carefully observing the possible use of this Reaper. "I lose my stalker only to find someone worthy to be my champion perhaps." He whispered to himself. Gragh meant a person calling himself Tomha when he said stalker. He as constantly hounded and stalked by the boy. "I will need new minions to continue with my plans, this being shows promise, I can almost taste his power." He soon noticed Kara "The Blood Circle may need to intervene in this battle." He mumbled to himself contently. The Blood Circle was the name of the cult he leads.

Kara looked at the pair of them with wide eyes, her heart thundering at what felt like a thousand miles a minute. He could... duplicate powers? That was... What was... Oh, God, what was she supposed to do, now? She couldn't risk getting close; if he got his bony hands on her abilities... Well, she didn't want to think about it. At the same time, she certainly couldn't let either of them leave. And what if they duplicated further? She floated in the air, frozen by indecision.

Then a woman's voice cut across the rooftop, and her words seemed to make Kara's racing heart lurch to a complete stop. "They?" she whispered after a split second of dead silence... Then... "Child...REN?!" Her eyes snapped back to the original Reaper, the expression in them absolutely mutinous. She couldn't even manage further speech. Her teeth gritted, she shot at him at like some kind of super-sonic javelin, planning on pummeling at light speed until only the bony fragments of his stupid skull were left. After all, he couldn't drain what he couldn't catch. Not that she was thinking that coherently; she wasn't thinking much at all, to be honest.

((Gotcha. Oh, by the way, both girls responded to Spidey in the New York thread. Just thought I'd let you know. ))

Kara saw the blade coming out of the corner of her eye, but didn't bother trying to block it or defect it in any way. She just kept coming, her fists flying forward in twin blue blurs, her teeth bared and her eyes glowing with heat. A second later, the scythe connected with her back... and shattered. She didn't even seem to notice, and fired her heat vision yet again, this time aiming directly for the seemingly empty eye sockets.

Kara watched the lifeless thing fall to the ground, her expression hard as stone. She turned back toward the rooftop, and... it was as though she nothing had happened. Three figures still stood on the rooftop; two were clothed in red, and one was in black. Her deceptively delicate-looking hands clenched into shaking fists once more, and then she exploded back toward them, planning on grabbing the gruesomely identical Reapers and dragging them up and out into the emptiness of space. If they could duplicate inside the sun, they were certainly welcome to do so.

"No, I cannot continue to do nothing. I must act now." Gragh said as he tried to rush to Reapers side with teleportation. "Fear not Lich, you will not die today. The Blood Circle will not allow this." He declared as he ignored the fact he's exposed now for everyone to see. "You will owe me for this aid Lich." He called Reaper. He was preparing an unholy spell to desecrate the land beneath him. He has been trying to hide himself to avoid being found but ruined that now. His filthy black clothing smelt of dead bodies and blood. Gragh had no idea what this Reaper really was so he called it a Lich.


((A Lich is usually portrayed as a Robed Skeleton who is a powerful spellcaster. Though in certain folklore some look like normal dead bodies with leathery stretched skin.))

"I'm not surprised."the reaper replied, pulling the blade closer. He didn't need to kill her to obtain her powers. Just contact with her blood. He didn't get much though, as the woman was instantly behind him and tossed him away.

Shaddow gasped a bit as the blade was removed from her neck. She drew a hand to her neck and glared up at the other Reapers. She growled a bit and her leggs twitched angrily. Idiot. Why did she just stand there? That could have just cost her her life. She looked down at her bloody hand a moment. She squeezed it into a fist and went to strike at the reapers again, but stopped suddenly as someone else appeared.

The Reapers took a slight step back. Not that much for the woman, but for the man who suddenly appeared by them. Well now, this was an interesting twist.

Kara blinked, staring from one cliched villain to the other. It was as if someone had suddenly switch the script of a tragedy with one of the campaign ideas from the Dungeons and Dragons games the geeky boys at her university ran on the cafe tables during lunch. Which was, of course, to say that the sudden change was not a little disorienting. "Do you, um... Get this a lot?" she finally asked the nearest Reaper blankly.
