Asher's lips had twisted into a light, but plainly ironic smirk. An inaudible sigh passed through those same lips. "If I were to take it upon myself, whether you asked for it or not, would you allow me to take you back to bed?"

Mull bit back his first response, which was a 'No way in hell'. That would definitely not be well-received, he thought. Instead, he heaves a sigh and looks at the floor once more. "S'not like I could really stop you if you did decide on your own to come in here, you know. I'm not very well equipped physically right now to back up any arguments or struggles to stop anything from happening." He mutters, not enjoying admitting his weakness yet again. He felt sure that Asher and Shido were honorable enough to not really take advantage of him, but he was trying his damndest not to press the issue. His lip, of course, was still bleeding from when he'd bitten it earlier, causing a nice little red stain on his formerly white rug on the bathroom floor.

"I will take that as a 'yes' then," the coon said quietly before slipping back inside the door. He glanced at the stain on the carpet only briefly. "Mull, I am only going to force you if you really need to be and I am not going to harm you unless you wish it." Nevertheless, he was tempted to force the hybrid to crawl, just to prove his point. Just to prove that by the time he got back into bed... he could very well need the bathroom again. Instead, Asher picked Mull up without effort, carried him back to the bedroom with equal ease. This could prove the point for him as well, if Mull was willing to realize it.

Mull bit down on his tongue to keep from saying something snappy to Asher. The other was helping him of his own will, after all, but Mull felt that it was because the other pitied him. He sighs slightly, relaxing against Asher rather than staying stiff, ready for a fight, like every fiber of his being screamed at him to do. "I know, I just like to point it out. Didn't you only tell Zel that you'd stay the night, not that you'd baby me...?" He asks, still unsure completely as to why Asher would help him out, having only dealt with Zel when he was injured before, which, the chimera usually cast a healing spell on him and let the spell do the work until Mull was well enough to get up and care for himself, rather than doing anything else to help Mull. But, Zel had finally had enough of Mull getting himself hurt, it seemed, since he didn't offer to heal Mull this time, instead, telling Mull it would definitely be awhile before Mull would be able to care for himself. Was the chimera trying to teach him a lesson in humility?

Asher arched a brow and glanced down at Mull. "Baby you? Anything better than watching you drag yourself across the floor is babying you?" He was actually surprised that Mull had relaxed in his arms. He was fighting in every other way possible. Fighting too, was the coon and his urge to drop Mull on the bed when they had reached it. He was being far nicer than he deserved.

Mull tilts his head back slightly over Asher's arm, eyeing the vampire for a moment before speaking again. "You forget what I'm used to, though, Asher. I'm not used to anyone actually being considerate of my injuries. Normally Zel just casts a spell and leaves after it's done. I think he wants me to learn something from this, unfortunately, I happen to be a lousy student if it's something I'm not overly interested in." Which is why most of Mull's interests involved the bed, what you could do in bed, and in different methods of pain. Those appealed greatly to his darker side, which, of course, influenced quite a bit of what he himself enjoyed, although he preferred to be dominated, while his darker side preferred to do the dominating in any and all things. So, since Asher was, in fact, dominating Mull by not letting him fend for himself, he was earning points, in Mull's eyes. He shakes his head slightly, then blinks, realizing that they were right next to the bed. He could tell the other wasn't entirely happy with dealing with him, and was being polite, in a sense, by not just outright dropping him on his a** on the bed or the floor, so, Mull manages to shove his pride aside long enough to mumble one short sentence. "Thank you for the help."

"Magic? How convenient for you. Most of us wait for our injuries to heal." He knew of one way Mull could heal more quickly, but for now, he was not about to mention it. Zel was right, he needed some lessons in humility. He did spare the hybrid a faint smile as he thanked him before setting him back down on the bed. "For now, that is what I am here for."

Mull frowns at the first bit Asher said, ears flat against his head. "It's not like I really had a choice whenever he did use it. He's got better things to do than babysit me, that's for sure. Unlike me, he actually has someone that waits rather patiently at home for him. And he's the only one I've ever trusted with a spare key to my home." 'Although it looks like I may have to make up a couple more, if both of them intend to stick around and nurse me back to health.' He thought to himself, licking his lip slightly to clean the now-dried blood off as he thought carefully of what he would say next. He honestly didn't want to alienate the only ones willing to help him, but he was also finding it extremely hard to push his ego and pride aside to even bother asking for help. He raises his eyes up to look at Asher once more, then sighs, shifting slightly under the covers as he works up the courage to actually ask for something. "I... know this is probably going to sound stupid to you, but... Do you think you could stay in the room until I'm asleep? I know it's probably a stupid request, but... well... I KNOW you won't do anything to me that I honestly wouldn't want, but I'd feel a bit safer with someone here... Just in case the dickhead comes back for another round." He asks rather quickly, his eyes focused once again on his hands, which were toying with the blankets again in his embarrassment. It had taken alot for him to even ask that much, truth be told, and he wasn't sure how easy it would be to ask for anything else, if given another chance.

"Having me here would likely change nothing." Despite his blunt comment, the vampire seated himself on the other side of Mull, and in fact made himself comfortable leaning against the headboard. "It may interest you to know that Shido does not necessarily need to leave before the sun rises. However, from what you have stated before, I doubt he could do much in a fight against Aion either, no matter how different our particular talents are."
Asher stared at the ceiling. If Aion's last visit was because Mull's information had been inaccurate, why had he left? Why not draw more information out of him? Or was tossing him around like a doll his idea of repayment? Was last night enough for him, or was he just the kind of guy to draw things out into another visit or three? Or did he just come by sometimes just for the hell of it?

Mull sighs again, then nods, refusing to look up from his hands. "That's true, but I was actually worrying if he would show up and go after you this time, since he did show a bit of interest in your presence in my home, after all. Not that I'd even be able to do anything against him in this state." He sighs again, raising his eyes up enough to see Asher's face once more. "You really don't have to stay the whole night. You or Shido. I won't tell Zel, especially since you do have to be home before dawn, don't you...? You'd probably be safer at home, since he doesn't know where either of you live yet."

Asher shrugged lightly. He did not really know why everything was happening. There was little he could do but worry about it, and he was not the type. He glanced back at Mull, finding the hybrid watching him. "And you do not have to keep reminding me. If Shido leaves, that is his business, but I am staying until morning."

Mull sighs again and gives a small nod. "Didn't think you would leave, but I thought I'd still remind you. You're as stubborn as me, you know that...? Although I honestly don't think his tastes run towards vampires, even though vampires are supposedly some form of demon... And it's not like we're in a relationship or anything, so hurting you wouldn't really gain him anything with me in the first place, aside from me trying to get even later. He does know where Zel lives, but doesn't want to tangle with Zel's mate, who is a demon general. Not from the same area of hell that Aion is from, but famous enough that he doesn't want the hassle Xellos would bring. I, obviously, have no such luck with that form of protection." He stops talking for a moment, his face thoughtful for a second. "I wonder what he's gonna do when he does find Valin...? Valin's the most likely to catch his interest out of his former partner's children. The kid's alot like me, only, the only thing holding him in check is his mate, but, since I haven't seen hide nor hair of said mate in a long time, they may no longer be together. Aion would just love the chance to corrupt one of that family to his will, and Valin would be the most likely to accept, as well." He says, frowning again. "I don't think Aion will show up tonight, but it's always a possibility with him. If he does, I'll just have to immediately throw out Valin's location and hope he leaves as soon as he gets the information." He honestly didn't know why he was telling Asher so much, but, perhaps it was because the vampire was already in too deep, having seen Aion at work and had been seen by Aion himself, so shouldn't be left completely in the dark?

What it came down to was Asher was here because of Mel. Why he was still here was a combination of curiosity, wariness, and a promise. Sticking around was proving to be far from boring, besides. He knew little of demons, really. He knew of them and a little of their lore but how to defeat one would be nearly impossible for another creature of darkness. It was not as if, for example, he could brandish his faith like a shield.
"So you would give up this Valin's location and safety. Either you are not very close or you value my presence a great deal," he commented softly. "Surely, whatever your motivation, gaining such information would serve as an invitation for Aion in the future." Either he would seek more information, since Mull had withheld it before, or he would take greater interest in Asher.

Mull thinks for a moment before giving a small shrug. "The kid, Valin... He's the more dangerous out of Aion's former partner's children. The others, well, they're more meek like their mother, but still retain enough demon aspects to interest Aion greatly. He'd prefer they had the demon temper though, which Valin does. And since Valin's mate up and disappeared, that means his temper must be reaching a point where he's ready to go on a rampage, which would mean people injured far worse than anything that kid your dragon friend took in had suffered through. Trust me. I'm part demon and what he was put through was nothing compared to what someone that gave into their dark side willingly would have put him through." He frowns in thought for a moment, then shakes his head. "And I don't think taking up any amount of faith would save anyone from Aion's work anyway. I seem to remember hearing about a priestess from the order of Magdalene that Aion's pal, Chrono, used to travel with and he was even able to corrupt her to the dark side for a short amount of time. I do remember hearing that he had been defeated before, but, obviously, it wasn't a death dealing blow, just one that incapacitated him until the priestess' death. I'd honestly be doing the world a favor by giving him Valin's location, since, it would stop the rampage that much sooner if Valin had something else to concentrate on, and, Aion would have to properly train Valin for whatever task he had in mind for the boy."

If this was true, what a great irony that would be, the world being better off with a demon on the side of evil instead of trying to live mainstream. He knew plenty of vampires who had dealt with that choice themselves. Asher had often teetered on that thin line.
