Zahar frowned. So many voices so worried all at once. Kataio we should help them. Zahar took a deep breath, There are still people and masks close by. Call for them? I have hardly been awake for an hour and already there is trouble. It's just like her.

"Just like who?" Kata asked receving a shrug as if Zahar really didn't know why she said that. "Hey? Where are you guys? I'm by the camp fire!" Kataio called out to anyone who was still in the camp area and not pre-occupied.

Hello!? Any other masks close by that can hear me? What is going on here? Zahar muttered after that with a bit of a scowl, I demand to know what's going on. I cannot have such chaos.

Galilee hissed a bit mentally at Zahar, then looked up at Nika, You talk to her...

Kaliska stared at the rade, then said in a low voice, "they're pretty. like big kitties. i like cats........they're going to eat us, aren't they?"

Merci watched the Rade slowly circling their group, and even though she was ashamed to admit it, Fauve dropped to the back of her mind. She would have to be safe in order to do anything to help her charge. Muttering as quietly as possible she relays "I see three, one ahead of us and two circling around either side. Probably best if the kids are kept in the middle, a couple well placed shots and we might be able to take them down." Merci wasn't sure, she'd never really fought Rade before. She hadn't been at the caves until Silva, and ran the first time they had appeared after leaving the original colony ship because of sheer shock. "I don't want to provoke an attack, but I don't want to wait until their close enough to hurt us or the kids either. We shouldn't leave the kids alone, maybe Kali and Gee can get them to safety while we hold them off." The time for talking was slowly coming to an end, the Rade were moving closer. The feeling of being a mouse getting played with flitted through her mind.

Zahar cursed inside her head and frowned. They are not co-operating. They will not tell me anything. This is all your fault for being lazy. Zahar straightened her dress again. They are being attacked and I do not know by what. Can we move alone and see if we can follow their tracks or find someone in camp still who can help?

"I don't even know where to start looking, ok? Let's just take this a step at a time. Do you know by what they are boing attacked by?" Kataio knelt in front of the little girl.

Ashirha overheard Nika's yelling about them being attacked. Apparently the Rade were closer than she'd thought. Do you guys need some help? I can call Haisyn!

Trivii blinked as she was layed back in her bed, looking at Aricin. "'Cin, theres something going on, there's a tension in the air thats making my skin crawl. Everyone went into the woods right?" Ignoring her nausea, which somehow, seemed to be fading into the background in the face of something bigger.

"Yes... somehow I feel out of the loop 'Vee. Whats going on?"

"You know how I told you that sometimes cat-kin can feel a shift in electrical currents, or emotions before they happen?"

"Is that whats going on?"

"I can't describe it, but I know that whatever is going on out there is big trouble, there's a lot of tension, and fear..."

"Trivii, your sick. You can't just rush out there by yourself."

"I'm not rushing anywhere by myself." Trivii gathered her throwing knives off her bedside table. "You're coming with me."

"What-?" Before he could finish the sentence, Trivii had him by the arm and was guiding him out the door, barely giving him time to grab his gun-belt (I've always wanted a gun-belt) from the coat rack just before the door slid shut behind them. He hooked it about his hips, following her agile steps toward the forest.

Merci didn't waste time, the Rade weren't going to let this go peacefully so she wouldn't either. She backed up a step and stood pulling out her other gun with a smooth motion. She'd been in alot of firefights in her time, but she never really thought about going up against something quite like this. She leveled one gun on the Rade in front of her and moved her other arm to take aim at the second Rade circling around their other side. Even if she and Cinder could just injure them so that the other women could get the children to safety.... Everything around her seemed to slow and sound seemed to mute itself, as things often do when your mind is supremely focused on something. She shot almost simulatiously, trying to aim for the head.

Fauve sat up and looked over at her sister, this...... this was bad. She reached her hand down and felt the knife that Merci had given her. 'Ash, you probably better call Aunt Haisyn.' She wanted to climb down and help her guardian, but she knew that she'd caused enough trouble already.

Inathe let out a loud screetch and took to the air, the sound from Merci's guns scaring him. He flew up high and perched in the trees hissing and watching the goings on. He was little, but he would attack if things looked bad.

The first Rade was hit, but the bullet tore through the front of his chest. He fell, but wasn't down long. He climbed back to his feet, now favoring that side, and looking very ticked off. Her second bullet entered her target, but it wasn't down long either, hole in it's head it gets back up, but is obviously a little dazed.

"Rades... the others are being attacked by large cat like creatures. Well more cat like then you." Kataio looked the two up and down. "We have seen them before and I am not altogether sure where the kids and the others are caught." Kata points off to the trees. "Zahar thinks they are out that way, she can communicate with the other kids. They told her to be quiet so they can concentrate."

Zahar shrugged and pulled on Kata's hand urging her to go help the others. "It looks like we should head out. I'm Kataio and this is Zahar. It's very nice to meet you two. Or at least I don't think I have met you two before." She starts to move slowly at Zahars tugging. "If you would like to come along that would be alright. The rades are harder to beat then they look. To protect the kids and get away from the rades it'll be hard."

Zahar says quietly to the others, Kata and I are coming. She kept it breif as not to be too distracting, and urged Kata again to keep moving and stop talking to the new people.
