Cale nodded though he knew Akio couldn't see it. He just stared up at the sky and his mind automatically went into the habit of counting the stars.

Akio took a deep breath and absorbed the other boys scent. When Thade left him, it made him feel worthless, but with Cale he felt like he could somehow overcome that feeling of worthlessness and despair. He scooted his body closer to Cale, so his body spooned the others side. "You smell good.." he mumbled, more to himself.

Cale heard Akio's words and laughed to himself. "Ahh thank you?" He laughed more. It was definately an odd thing to hear. Or at least for him to hear.

Akio joined him in a giggle. "Shush, you. I can't help it, my nose if very sensitive," he gave a chaste kiss to Cale's collarbone. "What are you thinking about?"

Akio shook his head and smiled into Cale's shoulder. "It's okay. You didn't know. Plus, a lot has changed since I was little. It doesn't trouble me anymore."

"I know what it's like losing a person in a sense of the word. Especially someone you hold very close to you" Cale hide the pain from his voice and his face at saying the words. His lose was one that would not stop hurting.

"Do you want to tell me about it? You seem so sad," he knew what it was like to loose someone, even if they didn't die. In his eyes, betrayal was the worst kind of hurt.

Akio got up on his elbow and gave Cale a soft kiss on the lips, then laid himself back down. "If you say so."
