She shook her head, blinking with her hair flopped infront of her face. She looked at him and smiled "It's fine." she smirked at him, a gleem in her eye.

He moves closer and nuzzles his cheek against hers gently. "I think...I have something to tell you Rose."

She was just about to splash him when he said that and she put her ears back "Oh?" she tilted her head "What is it?" she asked.

He backs up a little and looks her in the eye, moving his paw over hers in the cool water. "Rose, over the time we've been together...I've never met somebody like you before. Your just...such an amazing lioness." He smiles warmly, blushing slightly. "I love you Rose."

She looked down at him paw and blinked "I..." she looked back up at him "I do love you too." she said, her eyes shimmering and she smiled "It has been a great time together hasn't it?" she giggled.

He smiles warmly. "It really has, except for your paw." His fur rustles in the wind as night approuches, the sun setting on the horizon.

"Yeah, but it'll be better soon." she said and looked at the sky "It's getting dark out." she said and looked at him "But then you could already see that too huh?" she sweated.

He moves closer and nuzzles against her cheek gently. "Relax Rose. I promise everything is alright." He smiles and prepares to be used as a crutch again. "Let's get you to the wood sheet, then i can pull you back...to our den."

He moves helping her, resting her on the wood, then moves to the front and grabs the cloth in his mouth and starts pulling toward the den. Though a little slower this time since he had been swimming. Finally reaches the den and helps her inside to a comfortable place to lay down.

She laid down on her side by the wall and looked up at him "Thank you." she said, bowing her head to him then laying it down. She waved her tail a little, waiting for him to lay down too.

He smiles and lays down next to her, placing a paw on her shoulder gently. "Your welcome." He rests on his side facing her. "Are you comfortable?"

"Yes, I am." she said and looked at him, smiling back. She moved over a bit so her paw was touching his and closed her eyes.

She yawned and nestled her chin on her other arm "Good night Aradel." she said and started to fall asleep.
