word. build that s**t... or find one pre built mrgreen actually I would also say build a kit. i think the byoc kits/instructions are easier to understand than GGG kits. maybe that's just me.
btw my fuzz came in today. My ac15 and I are pretty happy with it so far. I only got about an hour of play time though. I'll check it out some more, definitely this weekend.

So, anyways, I heard about the $29 sale of pedals and such and headed over to GC last night. So yesterday was NFD, but I had no time, so it is now today. Tried the BBE Free Fuzz. It was pretty nice, and considering it was about one fifth of the original price, I wasn't exactly complaining. Pics nao, clips laterz-

I don't like how much hiss that pedal puts out. I was hoping they'd have the Sonic Stomp for cheap, but no dice, there.

I would say that is a fair assessment of the situation. Still, it sounded less a hum and more a hiss, although that may have been your amplifier or any number of other things. I've never played that pedal, personally.
You should totally buy some self adhesive copper foil and do a total shielding of that thing if you've got hum problems. That's the easiest modification that a guitarist can make to their guitar, and it's also one of the ones that yields the most improvement in low-end guitars.

Yeah, I've been meaning to shield my guitar for a while. I'll do it when I yet new saddles.

the octo is the best part of the verbzilla, besides teh MASSIVE CAVESSSS O KVLT
It's a tad glitchy. that doesn't bother me though I actually embrace glitched out s**t. it has an echo mode too. it's pretty short but still usable.
the more conservative verbs are great too. springs, hall, room and chamber. there is also a ducking reverb. I haven't used it much.. ducking verbs aren't quite my thing I guess. maybe if you could combine the ducking and octo.
I am keeping the verbzilla for awhile. I haven't hear any other reverb as intense as the verbzilla. ....BEHRINGER COPY. maybe an rv3.
I have been looking at the holy grail and holier grail. I wish there was a holy grail xo.

sadly, i'm not a fan of the plus. I don't see many people with the holiest grail.. in fact i've never seen one in person.
the flerb mode on the holy grail seems like fun. http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/ElectroHarmonix-Holy-Grail-Reverb-Pedal?sku=153319

The Holiest Grail... I don't know if it has the gate on the Holier Grail, the gate is awesome.
