Amnity looked at Malcolm when he began his explanation...Then wrote down everything he said for later reference. There was so much going on that her mind couldn't possibly fit everything at one time, so she decided to write everything down. She scribbled down at least 10 pages worth of spells and the language of the dark ones already, next she would of liked to see the Tome of light. Amnity stopped writing for a second when he said that the final Tome is dangerous to obtain though. "...By yourself...Maybe..." She wagged her pen at him. "But I'm coming with you...Wherever you go...I won't....Let you leave...Without me." She grinned, then continued to write down some more notes on her notebook. Amnity looked confused though...She scratched her head, staring down at the pages of the Tome of Shadows in confusion. She finally showed him the few spells she couldn't understand. "Teach me..."

Malcolm stood an motioned for her to do the same, taking the notebook from her gently and examining the spells. He pointed at one of them. "This is Kulu, pronounced like koo-loo, and it is the word for ice, and this here is Sl'tiani, pronounced sul-tee-ah-nee, and is a powerful word used for summoning. Together, they form the spell 'Blizzard'." He set the notebook down for a moment and stood facing the window. "Kulu sl'tiani!" He said, sweeping his arm up in a semi-circle and snapping it forwards. A howling sound echoed through the house and a blast of icy wind erupted from his hand, lined with razor sharp icicles, the wind blasted through the open window and out over the lake before dispersing with a splash. He turned and looked at Amnity with a smile. "Now you try, don't be discouraged if the wind isn't large at first, it took me several tries before I could summon that large of a blast.

"Kulu...Kulu...Sul-tee-ah-nee...Sl'tiani..." Amnity took the notebook, reviewing the pronunciation correctly before stepping in front of the window. "Blizzard..." She did her best to imitate Malcolm's hand actions, doing a semi circle before snapping her hand forward. "Kulu sl'tiani!" Suddenly, a loud howling sound filled the room. Immediately after that, a blast of icy wind erupted from her hand, followed by sharp icicles. They flew toward the lake, then disappeared into the water. Amnity smiled, suddenly feeling anxious and giddy. Quickly, she picked up her notebook and flipped the pages to one of the other spells she couldn't understand. She held it out for Malcolm to see. "This one!" Excitement was obvious in her voice

Malcolm smiled as he watched Amnity perform the spell. the walkedover to her side. "Be patient, try it like this." He pointed his right finger at his left hip, then drew it to the right in a large spiral pattern, when he reached the center, he drew his thumb across his chest to his right shoulder, then snapped his hand outward. "Kulu sl'tiani!" The wind swirled down his arm and blasted outwards in a giant wave of ice, some of it crusting against the windows before disappearing into the lake.

Amnity watched, and tried to memorize his movements...But she couldn't really. She scratched her head and smiled sheepishly, not catching everything he did. "...Again please?" She didn't want to be a bother to him, she was just being patient and trying to learn what to do before she tries it out herself. Who knows, maybe this spell could save her life one day.

Malcolm smiled and faced the window again. "Of course" He repeated the motion, slowly this time. When he finished he did not say the spell however, as his window was still thawing.

Amnity watched him, and this time she followed his movements and tried her best to memorize them. After that, she quickly clicked her pen and jotted down a few notes beside the spell before putting notebook down. She reviewed the motions in her head again, then stood in front of the window. Taking a deep breathe, she braced herself. She pointed her right finger at her hip, then brought it out to the right in a swirling motion. When she got to the center, she traced her thumb across her chest to her right shoulder, then brought her hand forward. "Kulu sl'tiani!" Cold wind spiraled down her arm, then blasted out in a cataclysm of ice and icicles. It nearly tore the frame of his window, ripping the drapery. Amnity winced and quickly dropped her hand. She smiled, a bit embarrassed. "Sorry...."

Malcolm let out a small laugh, then moved to the window, holding out his hand and speaking a word that was just barely audible. He moved his hand slowly along each damaged section, carefully restoring it to it's former shape. When he was finished, he returned to Amnity's side. "No need to be sorry, you'll learn to control the amount of ice released soon enough, just keep practicing." He picked up the notebook. "Now then, how about those other spells."

Amnity smiled and nodded. This was an experience of a lifetime, learning spells and destroying window frames. She looked at her notebook, then pointed at one that she just jotted down and didn't really understand. "...This one."

Zahzi sat down near the enterence of Malcom's yard. He wasn't about to inturrupt anything, and he knew if he did, he might get something sharp hitting him in the head...
He just leaned against a fence-post with his hands behind his head, and just whistled a tune.
He then heard the sound of crashing from the attack on the window. He looked up just as it was being fixed.
". . .Either I'm drugged out of my mind. . .Or they're actually using that. . .

Malcolm looked at the page, then smiled. "Of course, but I believe that we need to go somewhere else to practice these." He moved to the center of the room and drew a cirlcle in the air with his finger. "Grnui!" A large blue portal appeared in the room, swirling inwards with sapphire light. "Let's go somewhere more... safe." He gestured towards the portal and stepped through, disappearing into the swirling blue mist.

Amnity stared at the giant blue portal for a second, hesitant to enter. She took out her pen and began jotting down a few more notes before slowly stepping through the portal. Only God...And Malcolm knows where it would lead...

The two materialized in a well-forested clearing some fifty-odd miles outside of town, well away from any form of civilization. Malcolm took Amnity's notebook and examined the spell she had pointed out before, scratching his chin thoughtfully. "This spell is called 'Bolting'." He began, "But I don't think you should be using this just yet, it's very difficult to control." He turned to look at her. "I could show you what it does if you would like."

Tsuki walked quickly down the street leading to Malcolm's house, determined to figure out what was going on. When he reached the picket fence however, he was met with a rather interesting surprise. "What are you doing here?" He asked with a hint of annoyance, looking at the man from the park, "What business do you have with Malcolm?"

Amnity was a bit disappointed by the fact that she couldn't preform it yet, but she nodded anyway. Eventually, she will get it, but for now she'll just have to watch Malcolm. She sat down on the grassy field, a good distance away from him so he would have space.
