Oooooohh! I like this formal wear a lot!
Mines got a real Asian look to it.
Whats that pattern under the top shirt?

So, in the last two days I've done more art than I have in the last several months to a year. xd Or at least condensed all the art I would normally have done in that time into the span of two days.

So these were brought about by the recent posts in HA. There's two versions, because I was fiddling around and decided to add the blue, and couldn't make up my mind if I prefer with or without. Two for the price of one! 8D

And then Joe and I got to talking and he mentioned a few things that need to be added/changed, and I decided to do his re-design. Then I asked him what color his cape should be, and he said "I dunno, what do you think would look best?" so I said "I dunno, either red or gold," and he said "I'm not too fond of gold, how about silver instead?" and I said "I think red would look best" but decided to do both so once again we get a two-for-one deal! (Some paraphrasing in our convo may or may not be a thing)


All three (six?) of these were done with a "new technique" I'm trying. I like the result! I've been trying to get my art to look like this since high school, and I just now figured it out xd

So I decided to do a Bobbi redesign for HA, and I mentioned it to Dani who mentioned she was thinking of asking one of us artists for a redesign, and, well, here, I'm gonna copy/pasta the convo:

And then we had other random conversations including genetics. Anyway, here's the rough sketches (with a handy-dandy green background so I can see what I'm doing while I ink) for both me and Dani. I'm the one with the bow 8D *points out the obvious*



And no, I did not intentionally make us the same height. xd That's just the result of editing and the way I draw in general.

*dusts off thread* Wow, it's been awhile. Anyway, here's what happens when Bobbi says she doesn't want to lose Shiva, but really wants Phoenix, and Kyle says she can keep her same personality and still look human, just with fire instead of ice, and she'll still be my Shiva deep down where it counts personality-wise:





I like the second one better, so that's the one I'm using, but hey, two for one bonus for y'all.

I found lineart of Final Fantasy 8 Shiva on Google, and I did all the coloring and flame effects and whatnot in the ProCreate app on my iPad.
