Eragon looked at what she was pointing. In his mind's eye, he could see the entire epic of Mordored playing, closing off at the climactic death of the mad king, and then of the creation of Ni'haen. He nodded softly, and looked at her. "But it's not as beautiful, nor as amazing, as you are," he said, his voice below a whisper, the words escaping from his mouth in the ancient language.

Her eyes widened beneath the drapes of the blackened night as she sat up, looking down at Sora.
"Uh-w-what?"
She couldn't do anything more at the moment but baffle the few words she trusted herself in saying...

Eragon nodded dumbly, and looked towards Minasia.
Eragon... Saphira warned. 'Great, now she's going to do an Arya on us. And I was liking her a whole lot more than that ancient elf,' she said in an area of her mind that nobody could hear. If she leaves us on Ingothold's amazing flight-back, I'm going to set up a certain boundary on your use of the ancient language. Especially on words dealing with attraction. And especiall the words 'Love' and 'You'.
Eragon had pushed Saphira's words to the back of his mind, "I never thought I would be able to say this. You seemed...intimidating at the time."
((I got another pairing for the third book. Nasuada/Murtagh. It makes so much sense.))

Alianae bowed to Islanzadi. "Forgive me, but I must be off. There are matters that need my attention." She smiled, turned and walked into the distance, travelling as far from civilization as possible. She wanted none to see her..

She kept blinking then shook her head, turning sideways to get her hair to veil her crimson face.
"I..."
Ingothold made once more that odd sound that, to dragons, was the one of laughter.
He softly nuzzled her, making her fall back on Sora's knees, revaeling her blood-red face.
"Uh, I, um.. Ingothlod, he..."
((Nice one.. Never thought of it, but for some weird reason, seems to fit SO well...))

Oh, bother, Saphira whispered to Eragon, her voice ignored.
Eragon's face turned a dark pink. He would speak, but he was afraid he'd make a fool of himself. Like the first time Roran talked to Katrina. He still got laughs thinking about that. "Well, um, I..." he let his words trail, and leaned in closer to Minasia, feeling the temperature from her embarassment warm his.

I so made up the Roran/Katrina thing.
Should we just get along with this, or should they get interrupted? If they don't get interrupted, we'll probably keep 'em stammering until they do so...?))

Saphira looked at the two. This is going nowhere, she said, and with a claw, pushed Eragon right into Minasia. From where she was watching, it appeared that her plan worked. They kissed, however accidentally.
Eragon was truly embarassed. His lips and Minasia's just met, thanks to Saphira. Even now, he could feel her happiness, although it was subdued, placed unconsciously by his mind, farther than when he was ignoring her. He fell into the embrace of the kiss.

She didn't do anything in reply, just let things go... But this was going a bit too far now; She pushed his shoulder up, sat up herself and blankly stared at him.
"You have no clue what you just did, Eragon.. You put both out lives in danger" she said, as if he had just torn her heart in two...

Eragon looked up, his cheeks bright red. "You're right," he said.
Saphira stared at the two. How could her plan have not worked? It was impossible, and he was taking credit for the kiss! Well, she would, but still! She let out a long, drafty sigh, and stared over at Ingothold, longing showing in her eyes.

Islanzadi smiled and whispered two words as Alianae retreated. "Take care.." She watched Alianae leave, knowing what she was about to do and, farith in her hands, walked back to Ellesmera.

Alianae stopped walking and closed her eyes. She looked within herself for a spark of blue, hidden beneath everything else. She found it and as her mind touched it, a flash of bright blue sprung up around her. She smiled and folded wings out of the Blue Magick for herself and, using an old connection between Minasia and herself forged in their younger years, tracked down the pair of them. She took off, flying at a fast speed and was soon there. She landed softly in the branches of a nearby tree. As she did, she heard a foot stepping on a twig behind her and half turned to see. She couldn't see so she turned back to watch Minasia and Eragon who seemed to be just coming out of a...kiss?? She shrugged and gave a low humming sound, pierced at intervals by a soft rise in pitch. She mentally hoped that some part of Minaisa's mind would connect the sound to her and their old warning of danger.

She sighed and abruptly inetrupted her shruggs to stare at the tree.
"Alianae...?"
Good, you're here... And I know, I know... it wasn't meant!...
She turned back to Eragon, then Saphira who seemed to be hitting on...
You should talk to her, do something... Payback for me, if you will
Fine...
He stared back into Saphira's eyes, trying to make her understand that what she had done wasn't very wise.
Saphira, I know that your intentions were good and meant no harm at all, but it wasn't the best of decisions to make the future queen of Alalea lose all concentration in this... Probably fatal kiss...

Alianae nodded softly. Minae, there's somebody or something behind us. I can't see them but it might be dangerous. Get ready to fight if need be. And tell Eragon that I'm here so he won't be surprised. She hesitated and then added, I know you love him Minae but don't okay? There is much to be done before youcan freely give your heart to another.
((note to Bluefuzzy a.k.a. Luna: This would be a perfect time for Angela etc. to pop up.))

I know, I know, Saphira said poutingly to Ingothold. It had felt like forever since she had seen him in the tent and they talked. But they were so close to it! the dragoness tried to explain. I mean, they would have done it anywyas, I just gave an unnecessary push! she finished off in a high-pitched whiny voice.
