Scarecrow of Flesh - Your Zanpakutou is a regular sized Katana and you can make it grow in size as part of your Shikai when you earn it.
Here is an example of my Shikai Release Form for you:
Shikai ("Initial Release") Form: “Ryu Kimasu Demasu” – Dragon Come Forth (Earned 01/2009 - VC Yamato)
When drawn and commanded, Ryu Kami’s blade shrinks in length by 8” inches to become 20.5" with an 11" steal handle. At this stage the sword can be thrown at an enemy and it can return to Sho the same as a boomerang.
As you can see in mine, my Zanpakutou shrinks in size. You can make yours grow in size. It's all up to you on how you want it. biggrin

Scarecrow of Flesh - what I did was look around at everyone elses and then came up with my own. Captain Bullene will review it and give you pointers if you need help. So will VC Yamoto and I'm always here to help too. I look forward to seeing the changes! mrgreen

Remember scarecrow, until you actually achieve your shikai, it is only a draft. So you can modify it all you want (as long as it fits the rules still) until that post that shows you getting that next level.
Look at me, I had a nice shikai, but since it didn't really fit the right way with my character, I reworked it and I am still reworking it (though I won't be making any more large changes, now I'm just working the wording.)
And sorry Pharaoh, I've been in testing the last few days so couldn't post, but I will at my lunch today.

I raise rats, and not all of them are cannibalistic. It'd only work like... 75% of the time. Most of them are too good-natured or too cowardly to go anywhere near a live body, much less eat him.
Dead bodies are a completely different story.
Besides, isn't policing what the Internal Affairs squad is for?

You are correct ma'am!
My sisters friend HAD pet rats but both died, one before she moved to Florida and one shortly after. They were cute!
But I'm talking about a pit of HUNDREDS of FERAL STARVING RATS!!! That would be my only death sentence if I were to become dictator of the world or something LOL!
