Jubei nodded upon hearing Mai's plan.
"Alright, sounds good. Make a break for it!"
He bent his knees slightly and then took off with great speed, heading for the tower.
"Try to keep up, Uchihas!"

"Well, not too great, I guess. My mom and dad both want to train me, and they fight a lot about it. While I can use both of their methods, and fairly well, its not really my style. So there's been a lot of tension. But I think I'll be okay." Hana ran up to the empty gate, and glanced back at Kira. "Are you ready to go through?" she asked, stuffing the scroll firmly into her pack.

Emi followed Rikou eagerly through the gate. I guess...since I know what I'm up against, and I'm confident in my abilities...that this might even be fun. Until the Akatsuki part comes in, anyway. Hiro came up with a decent plan, as much as I hate to admit it. So this will probably be a breeze. Unlike Rikou, Emi wasn't really worried about fighting her brother. They'd argued back and forth for years, and never really had a major fight. Sure, there was some rivalry. But it didn't occur to her that now would be the time to resolve it.

"You bet!" Kira said. "And I know what you mean. Training with my dad is a nightmare." she sighed, stepping up to the gate. "I wonder where my sibling is? hm...Well, they'll catch up later i guess."

Hana nodded. "Probably." She stepped through the gate, and took a look around the forest. Already its dark, and kinda scary. I don't remember it being scary last time we were here. She shuddered, and wrapped her arms around herself.
"So, I guess we should head for the tower, huh?"

"Well, I'm not good at leading, so your call." Kira said, looking at Hana. "Also what scroll do we have?" She signaled at a shinobi above them. They were trying to conceal their presence, but they weren't too good at it.

Hana had already noticed the shinobi above them, too, but was pretending she didn't know. She nodded almost imperceptibly, so just Kira could see.
"Oh, we have a Earth scroll. Nothing exciting."
She glanced around, and picked the direction most likely to lead to the tower. "Okay, how about this way?"

Kira nodded, to say both 'good you noticed and ok.' she looked in the direction and then took a step towards it, before throwing kunai at the shinobi above them.
"Be ready, Hana." she said.

Hana also took a step in the direction she was headed. She pulled a couple of kunai out of her pack as she did, and slung them on her fingers. She pivoted on that foot, and faced back towards the shinobi above them. "Whenever you are, Kira."

"I'm always ready!" Kira said, jumping into a tree. She jumped higher into the branches, getting closer to the enemy and getting behind them at the same time. She readied a kunai, and looked down at Hana. She knew that she could handle anything, and possibly more, that she herself could handle.

Hana sighed. Who knew we'd have to fight such a stupid enemy? They haven't even noticed that Kira's vanished. Oh, well. I'll be the diversion, then.
She hopped into a tree in front of the shinobi, and then hopped/climbed further up, about level with the enemy. "Hello, fellows. Whatcha up to?"

Kira got behind them as they answered "Taking your scroll!" they jumped at Hana, as Kira jumped onto one.
"Howdy!" She said, stabbing her in the leg. "How're you?" she pushed the shinobi onto the ground, as he screamed in pain.

Hana frowned lightly, as if considering their statement. "Nah, I don't think so." One of them approached her, and she slammed a kunai into the boy's arm. She thought she felt something break under the knife, and winced. "Sorry!" she called, as the boy fell out of the tree.

"Hand over your scroll." Kira said, glaring at the last shinobi. "Or suffer their fate, and loose the scroll you have." She looked at this shinobi, and knew this wasn't a fair fight for them, but nothing was ever fair for anyone.
"Fine! Here!" He spat, throwing the scroll at Hana. He then jumped off the branch, and slowly descended to help his team.

Well, at least we didn't have to hurt all of them. And they weren't hurt too badly. So they should survive.
Hana jumped from her tree to Kira's, and knelt on a nearby branch. "So. What scroll did we get?"

Kira grabbed the scroll. "An Earth one." She said "Odd. didn't we say we had an Earth scroll?" she looked at Hana, confused.
