EhmiEhmi Azhren FluffyWuffieBunny But can't Xena just be all seducey and get Ares to leave so we don't have to kill off more amazons? Then he could be all, "This isn't over, Xena." And what about Nem? Can't she do something to avoid a war? Like be all conniving and "accidentally" send Ares soldiers into a cave with the graegus or something? OR inteh deh cave with deh 3 dancin gabbys 3nodding im tired of being all shippery tho gonk howsabout hope comes along and xena kicks HER butt and i just take hope teh safety and call off deh war? ninja How are you gonna get hope back? i thought skillzy waz hope ninja did we kill her off already? eek

If you think about it, if Xena just woke up from a rampant killing spree, I'm not sure if she would want to continue the bloodshed with another battle. Knowing Xena, she would find some loophole around it. Especially since Ares is involved.

Blah. Honestly, no. RP battles are not that fun. I don't think you were involved in the last one, but it lasted for ever because RP wars are hard and slightly unfair because of god modding. Like "I sent another row of arrows, taking out Ephiny and five hundred other amazons" and Ephiny has no say in whether she can block the arrow or not.
But also, if you don't make decisions yourself about who dies and who doesn't, it takes three years to finish.
If I didn't have such distaste for RP battles, (and if the circumstances were different) I would totally be up for your idea.
Plus Xena didn't have dramatic battles in every single episode.
More like.. Every other episode.
Last "episode" we had a couple battles, so this one can be our comedic relief episode, and next episode we can have another battle.
Mmkay?
Oh, fyi, I am the actual RP lord. (Crew wise, I'm assigned to moderate the RP forum)
So I'm sorry to seem like we're ganging up on you and your idea, but I think it would be better to end this plot with a love spell.
