"Sure," I said. I felt kind of greedy, but... something about this girl told me it was okay. I took a piece of pizza gratefully and took a bite. "So," I said. "What's your theory on this delayed flight?"

Liam looked at all of the items on the menu trying to figure out which one to get. Finally he decided it wasn't worth his time. He had gone on for a week with out food once before he could do it again. He sat down at his spot the first time and once again started to do what he was doing when he first got here. "She's hot, she's hot, she's not, she is definitely not!"

"Monkeys wrecked the upholstry..." i said in all seriousness as I took my fifth slice of pizza. I held the pizza in one hand and fiddled with my Gir sholace.

At her unexpected remark, laughter bubbled out of me. Of course, as this was happening, a bite of pizza was traveling down my throat. The result was not pretty.
I was coughing up a storm, my eyes watering. I think I blacked out, because I was laying on the floor, on my stomach. "Sorry," I muttered, as if nothing had happened. My face was a fierce shade of red as I snatched another piece of pizza.

I cast my eyes around for a drink and found none. Still coughing slightly, I waved away her apology.
"No biggie," I said, nibbling on my fresh slice.

I smiled, "Here, have some water" I leaned forward and handed the botle to him. I looked back to the boy and grabbed a slice of pizza, I put a napkin under it and walked up to him. "Please don't just give out on eating because you don't feel like stealing money from someone." I handed the pizza to him and turned to walk away and stopped and turned to face him, "sorry." I muttered quickly and returned to my seat. I pulled out my sketch pad and started to draw Sarah sitting by Mai, her tail wagging, waiting for a meatball to fall or something...

Lizzie had been wandering around, not wanting to impose on them. She bought some gum and began to chain chew.

Lizzie blinked, "Sure!" she ran over to the pizza, looking at it.

I grinned at her, "Hi. I'm Stephy." I reached out my hand to shake hers and the sleeve of my tee shirt rode up, revealing the glorious purple hand on my arm. I didn't even notice.

Mai fed a meatball to Sarah, then noticed Stephy call another girl over. Mai smiled knowing she was just happy for some food.
Then, Mai saw the purple bruise on her arm. Touching her own arm where one of her own purple marks resided, Mai swallowed deeply.
"U-um.. Stephy? What's that mark on your arm from? It's pretty nasty, and it's really big. What happened?" Mai asked curiously, hoping to god she wasn't another human with the same problem as her.

Liam looked at the pizza in his hand. His stomach growled once again. "As much as I hate to be a charity case..." He was about to take a bite when she turned around and said she was sorry. "Wait!" He stood up and followed her over to the group. "Why are you sorry? What reason do you have to be sorry?"

I looked to Mai and then to the boy and faked a smile, "Skateboarding." I said simply. I looked to the boy, "Are you going to join us?" I sat down and pretended to be interested in drawing again. My chest felt heavy and everything was begining to blur, fade in and out...

Dad pounded his fist on the door, Oopps, I forget to leave it unlocked... I walked down the stairs and opened the door. My father stood there swaying. He looked me up and down, "Why dyou dress ike a boy, eh?"
I stood there and said nothing, "I'm talkin tyou, damnit!" I slapped me with the back of his hand. I let out a small scream and fell against the wall. "Keep your goddamn mouth shut," He hissed, grabbing me by my arms and shoving me harder into the wall. I bit my lip so hard it started to bleed. Dad opened his eyes wider and actually saw me, "Oh baby, baby I'm so sorry," He started crying. "I'll quit drinking, i promise..." I hated it when he did this, it was all a lie, and it made it harder to hate him...

I looked around the group and the to the boy, the one who reminded me of dad. a lump grew in my throat and I jumped up, "excuse me" i bluttered out as i ran to the bathroom. I got in and slammed the stall door a couple of times in frustration. I stared at my self in the mirror, i hated myself, I let him do it, i didn't stop him, i grabbed the trash can lid and threw it at the mirror and screamed at it as it shattered. I slid down the floor and looked at the sparkly shards of glass and their stress relieving sharp edges. I grabbed one and stared at it. The sharp edge centemeters away from my arm. ...you just look so poor and filthy...
