Welcome, I'm Tez, the Lieutenant of this squad! Tis a pleasure.
Right, I have taken the time to look at the profile, and although it fits all the right requirements for a profile, I'm not sure that your character quite fits this particular squad. Don't get me wrong the character is great as it is, but hand to hand combat is something I see a RPC like Oveon not fairing so well at, due to his bulk and also the Claymore he wields. A martial art that fits such a bulky character doesn't quite spring to mind without it being outside of our "accepted" martial arts styles.
Would you like me to recommend another squad you might be more at home with?

It's no problem at all.
Actually, Bullene Katsurou (RPC), the Captain of this squad, is of similar build to your character, so I guess I stand corrected about the character not seeing Oveon as suited to hand-to-hand combat. Although, I'm quite unclear of your general approach to battle. I mean your RPC has a big sword that'll need some getting used to, yet you've come to a hand-to-hand specific squad. Is there a particular reason you chose Squad 7, or are you posting your profile in all the squads until someone accepts you?

Hmmm, I read your profile and there's a few things I might need to address. The Shikai says that strength, speed and balance all increase. Shikai is generally known for doing that anyway, just the release alone gives the wielder access to heightened abilities, as Shikai unlocks a second tier of overall power whilst granting extra abilities unique to the Zanpakuto.
With that said, you can elaborate on more abilities if you wish, rather than just a fist-shaped energy blast. I'm not quite finished yet, but one thing at a time... just to simplify things. smile

Underneath powers, you have,"Shaolin Kungfu," the only wat to actually have that, would be to learn it in this squad, which you would have to speak with the captain about. Any martial arts you want your rpc to know, have to be learned through a rp here in the awesome Squad Seven.

As an unseated member, you aren't supposed to have skills like that off the back. You have to earn them, like my rpc learned Taekwondo through a prp, like a few of the other squad members that own a martial art. If it is not on the list, then address the captain, because I don't have the power to say you can have it. I just know that you have to gain the martial art through the rp.

Also, the fact of the matter is, no Shinigami retains Skills from their living persona simply because they have forgotten it. There has only been one character in the entirety of Bleach that has retained knowledge of their past life, and your RPC simply isn't that character. Squad 7 Captain
