Despite his nephew's nervousness, Anzu's beaming smile only got brighter. "Yes Conan, you. Is there another being named Conan here?" A slight pause. "We will be after a rare species of spider in the surrounding forest. Jin and Bob supposedly have legendary tracking abilities, so this is a good chance for you to learn from them. As for me..." Anzu grinned widely. "If I ever wanted to attract those spiders, all I have to do is grow several of a certain species of tree...so...I'll be observing you three's performances."
With that said, Anzu drew out a scroll. "If you choose to work individually however...absolutely do not gamble a meeting with their queen...other than her, should be fine... I won't stop you if it's more comfortable but I will warn that teamwork is a necessity. You may be able to take on the workers that come along but it will take combined effort to fight a soldier. Now...I will ascertain no one will die (note that he didn't mention injured). If anyone comes to need first aid, I will assist."
Before any of the three could ask what he would be doing, Anzu continued. "Now Conan...you wonder why we're gathering poison? Because the village doctors needs to restock raw supplies. As for me...I'll be after the queen." Anzu could be at multiple places at once, so this would naturally not be a problem to keep an eye on his students (even if they work alone) and on his own work.

Conan was still shocked that he was going on a mission with Jin and Yusei two guys that were Gennin. well Anzu-sensei did say he would step in if were in trouble and I will have Jin and Yusei protecting me… Conan’s face got slightly red as he was thinking about that fact as he listened to Anzu talk about the mission. The mission was simple that much was true but Anzu had left things out that Conan felt he should know. So Conan decided to voice his questions. After all why go into something un-prepared. “ umm... Anzu-sensei, I was wondering about a few things… um first how much venom do we need and how are we going to get the venom out of the spiders? And what about killing them? I don’t carry any weapons…” not to mention that there spiders and they creep me out… with there hairy legs and eyes. And those are just the SMALL ones Conan screamed and cried out in his head as soon as he finished his short little inquiry.

Yusei looked up the tree infront of him slowly not changing the dull lifeless expression on his face and when he saw the top of the tree, he moved his vision back down to the trunk and hung his arms down to his sides thinking to himself that he could never climb this tree. "Hmmm...uuhhh..." He was about to tell his sensei something but he didn't want to seam like a ninja that couldn't do anything so he decided to do his simple tree climbing training. He closed his eyes for a moment and made a hand seal concentrating his chakra to his feet then opened his eyes and placed a foot on the side of the tree.

Yusei picked up his other foot and placed it on the tree holding himself on the tree for like half a second then slid down the side to the ground slamming on his back with a slight thud. He got back to his feet squinting his right eye from the slight pain in his back from the impact to the ground and made a hand seal again focusing his chakra to his feet so he could hopefully walk on the side of the tree this time. Again, he placed his right foot on the side of the tree looking at it as if he was wishing that he wouldn't hit the ground this time.

Yusei then picked up his other foot off the ground and placed it on the side of the tree quickly and squinted his eyes slightly preparing for his crash back to earth but he slid down the tree slowly as his chakra was gripping to the tree, just not hard enough for him to climb or e jumped off the tree back to the ground and tilted his head slightly making another hand seal once again focusing his chakra to attempt to climb the tree again. And again he placed his foot on the side of the tree while maintaining his chakra flow to his feet.

Yusei placed his other foot on the tree and immidately fell to the ground from not putting enough chakra into the souls of his feet and again he slowly made his way back to his feet trying to ignore the pain in his back from the impact to the ground and whimpered a little but sucked it up and again focused some chakra into the souls of his feet then was about to step on the tree but then poured a little more chakra into tis feet hoping that that would make his stick to the tree better. He then placed on foot on the tree and hoped that this would work.

Before Yuse could place his other foot on the tree, the foot that was on the tree began to break the bark under it and quickly crush into the side of the tree which Yusei quickly took his foot of the tree to look at. "hmm..." Now he learned that applying too much chakra to one spot would result in crushing the slope and pushing him off the side of the tree. He took a breath and focused his chakra againbut not as much as the last time and placed his foot on the tree preparing to take a new try at this.

Jin Turned himself away from his sensei and Conan and went back to his trainning. He looked at the tree and then up at Kyo wondering if he was going to make it. He took a few short breaths and began to run at the tree.
He reached the base of the tree and in one quick motion he made a hand seal, gathered some chakra to the souls of his feet, and then charged up the trunk of the tree.
Jin got closer, and closer to the top of the tree as he moved quickly up the tree. Jin made it farther up the tree than he ever had but just as he was about to reach the top he slipped off the tree and slid down to the ground.
Jin looked up at the tree and was annoyed with the fact that he could not get to the top. jin took a few steps back and looked up at the footprint he made in the tree. it was just barley touching the top of the tree. Jin exhaled and with a smile called Kyo down from the tree as he was ready to go on his first mission.

"As much venom as we can carry (aka each of us gets 10 samples)." Anzu replied simply. "Raw supplies are never too little...and our aim is not to kill the spiders." A soft pause. "Remember, these spiders are important national treasures. We'll each have tinderboxes..." Anzu pointed to the giant scroll strapped to his back. "But will only use them should it be absolutely necessary, to frighten the spiders. You will be wearing protective gloves and googles too."
Seeing as Jin and Yusei have finished with their tree climbing exercise, Anzu repeated his mission briefing. This time, he also added these words: "Conan, you will be gathering venom from the earth-bound spiders. Those who lives among the trees, Jin and Yusei will take care of. That was what the tree-climbing exercise was for." Another pause. "Any questions?"

Conan gulped nervously as Anzu said that he was to take care of the earth bound ones. so ill be alone then... agent spiders... Conan thought in his head shivered then again the stronger ones would probably be in the trees... Conan continued thinking. Anzu said that they would be wearing gloves and goggles and also said that they wouldn’t be killing the spiders and it made Conan ask. “ Anzu-sensei... what do you mean were going to scare the spiders? Will that work? I-I mean will they like just fall over and let us take the venom?” Conan finished and hoped that that was the case when clearly it wasn’t going to be so. Conan then just felt a shiver go down his spine as Conan pictured a vision of the most disgusting and scariest looking spider that his mind could come up with. It had hair all over its body and was drooling a glowing green fluid out of its mouth. crying on the inside Conan cursed his over active imagination.

Yusei tried to walk up the tree again but this time like the other times he fell on his bak with a thud and ended up looking at the sky. He then rolled over to look at Anzu-sensei and listened to the details of their new mission. after hearing the info, Yusei smiled a little and got to his feet looking at the ground slightly. "...I-I know I can do this." He sounded a little more egar than he usually did and moved a little closer to Anzu-sensei to get ready to head out on the new mission.

Jin and Kyo were ready for everything. He walked over to Anzu as he said, "Were ready for anything," with confidance. Kyo barked excitedly as they got over to Anzu and the gang. "Anzu sensei i only have one question. How hostile are these spiders and what do we do if we get bit."
Jin was a little nervous but not for him, he was nervous for Kyo. Jin had alot of faith in Kyoui but he did not want Kyo to be bitten by a poisonus spider.

((Ok, one more post before I go to bed.))
Anzu looked genuinely surprised. "The last class didn't do first aid?" A soft pause. It was understandable, of course, as the maximum amount of lessons any teacher had managed to cram in so far before the Genin Exams given each semester was ten. First aid was considered an extracurricular course...usually supplemented once the Students receive their Genin squads. So Anzu decided to give a brief overview on poison treatment: "Every type of creature has its dormancy period, Conan. Simply after centuries of observance, the medic-nins of this village has quite an excellent compilement on the behavior patterns of the forest spiders." A soft pause. "Your tools, besides the gloves and googles, includes modified injection needles...thin enough, even past that of a normal senbon...rivaled only by perhaps by the tenketsu nodes in your bodies."
Anzu removed a small glass vial. "Attack the area near the pincers. Remove the poison with the needles and fill ten vials each. Now..." The ANBU captain crossed his arms calmly, staring at each of his charges in turn. "There are two ways to remove poison. The first is to cut yourself and allow the poisoned area's infected blood to be removed...however, that is only if you are not immediately paralyzed by the venom. Secondly, is to use chakra control to draw out the poison directly. Yusei-kun..."
So, Anzu did know of the Aburame's name after all. "Directly removing poison by chakra control is exactly as I've said. Please do not use your bugs to assist with poison treatment should Jinsoku-kun get bitten." A slight frown curved his lips. "Several of the Inuzuka and their pets were diagnosed with serious allergic reactions to this type of treatment."
"As I said, I would be keeping watch over you three even while going after the queen. If removing the poison directly proves to be too difficult, my clone will assist."

Conan simply said nothing to what Anzu had said about the spiders and simply stared at him. Anzu-sensei didn’t answer my question at all... Conan thought in his head as it was clear that the spiders were going to fight back so that there venom isn’t taken from them. Anzu then gave an explanation on how to extract the poison from the spiders as well as from themselves. Conan looked at Jin and Yusei and they seemed to be ready for it. So Conan said nothing as he waited for some kind of instruction from Anzu. The only thing Conan would get from continuing to ask pointless questions was more nervous. In Conan’s mind this was like a Band-Aid he needed to just do it and stop thinking about it. Plus if anything did happen then Anzu’s clone would be around to help. Conan felt a surge within himself. Conan felt he was ready to do this if the others were besides everybody needed to face their fears sooner or later, right? Conan slightly smiled and waited for Anzu to give some sort of order... or a location at least.

"Since there seems to be no complaints, why don't we get going?" Anzu grinned widely again, before signaling for his three charges to follow. It was almost a mystery why he was so happy, perhaps this has something to do with knowing Moku was currently perhaps the most unhappy person in Konoha. The young ANBU captain, for some odd reason, did love poking fun at his junior. But never mind that. The weather was nice and Anzu's temper...seem to change with the forecast for the most part. They would have to hurry though if they hope to complete this mission by nightfall - only Anzu knew exactly what sorts of other creatures appear post dusk.
