He finished quickly. "I do not mean to be rude, and thank you for letting me come over at such short notice."

He sat down, "Thank you." And looked at the plate, and smiling to himself thought, this was unexpected. Nice, however... I feel like a horror movie character in a chick flick, or maybe even a drama... He picked up and took a bite of the pizza.

laughing softly she noded, filling a glass with water as she replied with a teaseing horrified voice. " yes, he wanted another dozen cupcakes and an ice cream birthday cake. and to top it off, the artists on main street want to make a huge design change to their building. people never slow down." waveing away his thanks she started another batch of cookie dough, saying in her normal kind voice. " no worrys, i always make a bit to much so if you want some you can take them home with you."

"a few years now. i hate haveing to hold still, and after a while i knew i would need more hobbie's to keep from going insaine." she was carful not to mention anyting else, not sure how to realy explain it. most of anyone knew down here, and it made them look at her differently.. forceing that thought away she winked at Lanius, smileing as she added chocolate to the dough. " what people dont notice though is what ever i cook is good for you." she said it just low enough so Song couldnt hear her, laughing as she undid the apron strings and sat it aside. she sat on the other side of the counter, nibleing at a small slice of fruit pizza. " so, little Song hasnt drove you insaine yet? the little munchkin can do a bit of damage if she is in the mood for it."

she laughed with him, noding as she pointed at the food infront of them. " oh yes. beware the cute eyes and innocent laugh, this child is a con artist. one little look and she has me cooking for her every time the thieves go out on a raid." rolling her eyes she pulled the black cap off of Songs head, tossing it on the table as she admited. " it adds a bit of fun to life, she keeps things from getting boreing."

The two entered the house slowly. Ryuk had taken his time, because honestly he just wanted to know someone was still there in reality with him. He liked holding her hand. It brought comfort and peace with its warmth.

Then he saw the little party going on in the kitchen. He felt awkward as they hadn't noticed them yet, but he have to interrupt and use the table top. He needed the open space to mix the chemicals and do his work. "Ummmmmmm, high everyone." He pulled Wick along still holding her hand as he greeted them all. "For those of you who don't know who I am, I'm Ryuk. Resa, right? I'm gunna need to borrow some of the counter top to do some work, do you mind?"

her hand shook slightly as she put her hand over her neck, her gaze falling guiltily to the floor. " i.. dont want to go back Wick. i just dont want to worry about hurting people." Resa felt herself shift backwards, her hip leaning against the counter as she sighed quietly. " i cant control anything.. just yesterday i blew up the artist's paint can because i hurt my finger.. what will happen if i twist an ankle? the medication keeps most of it from.. showing.." she looked at Lanius and flinched, hateing he heard this.

shoveing a brownie in her mouth she turned away, her hair falling over her neck and hideing the marks from veiw. Wick had made the medication for her... to help with Resa's growing abilites. she couldnt control all that she did yet, and as time went by she was saposed to take less and less of the potion until she could control it all with ease... but it wasnt working that way. the potion blocked it for a bit but that was all. her voice was perfectly cheerful as she said to Ryuk and Wick. " there is plenty here, help yourselves if you want some." she didnt turn around because it would give her away.. her voice could be controled but her face always gave her away. biteing off another peace of brownie she started rolling the cookie dough again, not being able to hold still.

Lanius stood up and pushed his chair in. "I thank you for inviting me, however, it seems a proper time for me to leave." He bowed, then stood back up, taking a few steps back. "It was a pleasure meeting you all." With that, he turned and walked out, feeling just a bit odd.
