As Chen got knocked into Sullivan, Sullivan would slide against the floor, but his stance would hold--he remained standing, and instead took hold of the back of Chen's shirt. He would yank the man up by the shirt, resulting in either (a) blocking Ebris' human club with a human shield or (b) ripping Chen's shirt off, and meeting Ebris' human club with a metal-enclosed fist. Either way, Chen would be in front of the section that Bleu's holy ray had struck a round earlier, allowing the armor there to reform.

From behind, Dzan's chainsaw bit into Sullivan's torso armor, chipping metal away and bringing with it clumps of dead flesh. With his free hand, Sullivan slammed a fist into the "dull" side of the chainsword, knocking it astray before it could tear him up any further.

The being would not allow Laz to simply get a hold of the arm, but rather would tug and tug--and shatter, being weak to the cold that Laz was generating. The shattered bodypart would fade away, while the being itself followed suit. Sullivan was getting fed up.

The shadows in the room danced, and a blast of thermal energy shot from the fist Sullivan had used to deflect Dzan's weapon. The burst would engulf the half of the room Sullivan stood on, hopefully knocking people back. As a precaution, he shifted his weight towards Dzan slightly, aware of the man's ability to block magic from earlier encounters.

"It's no use," the man would monologue, "You're too late. Even if you kill me, the city is sinking. If you wish to spend your few remaining days buried under ice and snow, by all means, keep fighting."

The shirt was thick wool meant to protect from the winter, so of course it wouldn't tear, and the human club hits into him, knocking him further against Sullivan as both hands came up to protect himself as best as he could against the attack. He would fall forward toward the floor, face meeting the ground.

But Chen was determined. He was here for the sake of Azhralani, and would get the revenge she sought. He raises his head, eyes refocusing toward the portal. And then it hit him! Not like how he was hit with that body, but in the effect of an idea. This field....maybe its logic worked in the same way as....

The blast of thermal energy came out, Chen clasping both of his feet against each side of the left foot of Sullivan while keeping flat against the ground. This would keep him from being blown away by the force like everyone else did. With it passed, he quickly gets to his feet, having both arms grip around the armored waist of Sullivan as he rises to his feet.

"No matter what happens," he says, securing the grip, if successful, then rising to his feet. "Azhralani will be avenged!"

And with a might heave, he would throw Sullivan's body over his right shoulder JUST in the same way he did Azhralani. See where this was leading to? With everyone temporarily down, he turns toward the portal, and dashes across the temple room toward it with Sullivan over him, going as fast as he could. The Unity field fell because Azhralani left it. So, what happens if....

+++Dzan wasn't to be perturbed so easily. As the man would knock his chainsword down it'd grate across the armor. Cutting and scarring it up as it went but his right arm wasn't normal. Sure, it looked completely but it was actually covered in synthskin. It would come back slightly and then slam straight back in the same crevice it had already created.

+++HOW 'BOUT THEM METAS?! The thermal "explosion" type deal would be nulled around the Cyberpunk to a degree. Sure, he would be pushed back, but not as far as anyone else and thus he was still aiming for that crevice he had created, if he hadn't already hit the mark. Thus, he began to push the brutal weapon even more. Metal, skin, muscle, fat, and bone would part before the weapon as it was forced back.

If only he had a gun...

+++Though, pretty close to this point, or before it, Chen was trying to grab Sullivan away from him. Yet, he was going to get chainsawed. SOMETHING was going on here. Though, if Chen's idea worked the man would be distracted by something CHAINSAWing through his armor and would actually help Chen...tear.

Now, who the hell did this cheeky ******** think he was, with his dark sunglasses and NEO MATRIX getup. Ryke peered over at him, watched as he attempted to pick up this Sullivan guy everyone was out for, throw him over his shoulder and make a mad dash for the portal.

Oh HELLL no.

Seeing as she was probably the only one not currently occupied with bashing someone's ******** skull in, it was a good time to start shooting.

Yeap.

So the femme bounty hunter slung her rifle back around to face front, braced it against her shoulder in proper form and guided a hand to the second trigger for the underslung shotgun on her Specter assault weapon.

4 shells, and one opportunity to nail this b***h.

Click

Her trigger finger twitched, but purposefully and she unloaded about 3 shots on Chen as he tried his escape.

Hey, running away was prohibited when Tzenidaar was around. So them boy's trying to get back out through the portal blocked by a semi would have to deal with a giant cleaver swung at full force flying through the air into their backs.

Oh yeah, and about that cleaver. It had them fancy enchantments. In this case being a force augmentation, which made the seventy-five pound weapon that was flying through the air really fast several times more destructive than it should have been. Armour? Haha, that s**t could rip into an armoured vehicle like a tin can. Plus, thrown things were usually faster than people running, thats why people throw things anyway.

People running away?

Heh.

As if he were a bag of trash, Ebris casually hucked the unconscious and horribly battered Jimbo away, causing him to fly straight into a wall. Prolly make him sleep for quite a long time, now.

Instead of bothering chasing the eyeglass f*****t and the mage he was all lovingly carrying to the portal, Ebris proceeded to draw his right Carnosaur from its holster. Hitting the stud at the top of it, Ebris broke the top open and proceeded to remove the SI-7 cell from the weapon and stashed it away (its juice hadn't been used all the way yet). Instead of going for a fresh reload of the same type, the bounty hunter was going to pull out the big one. Pulling a jet black cell from a pouch, Ebris slotted it in place, spun it to lock the thing, and then snapped the weapon back shut.

An HO-1 power cell - things were gonna get real unpleasant in a moment.

Instead of shooting the running figures, Ebris' aim turned toward the large object that the two of them were running past at the moment.

It was an object that was wholly a bad idea to run past when about to be shot by a Hellpistol - the Alcohol Dispensing Machine.

"Game over, Jimbos."

BLAM

KA-THOOOOOOOOOOOM

The recoil of the gun knocked Ebris' entire arm back and actually hurt his wrist - it was that powerful. The massive blaster bolt was spat forth and hit the dispenser machine, which was torn to shreds. All of the alcoholic goodness within served quite well as it was detonated by the wash of extreme heat and overpressure.

The two Jimbos were right next to it. There probably wouldn't be much left. Hell, Ebris was knocked back several steps by the explosion, as well as spattered with shrapnel - Ebris didn't care much about the other people, so they best have taken cover.

count-5

Bleu hit the wall but he woke up instead of sleeping longer. He turned into a Frog all his belongings disappeared into an invisible hammer space. He wasnt a big one he was a small one one that you cant see untill your 2 feet from it.
Frogs can jump really far pretty cool huh, thats what this one was doing jumping for the portal good thing everyones attention was drawn to Chen.

if any one notices the frog it goes berserk shooting spells at whomever takes notice of it. It seems Bleu wasn't quite Bleu but Survival mode Bleu

Fire- Creates an unstable red magic sphere whose movement is controlled by the caster. Functions similar to a remote detonation bomb exploding on contact with any solid object, at the whim of the user, or if it moves farther than 25 feet from the user.
Destruction of nature, gather in flame! Fire!
Ice- Blades of ice appear from around the mages hands, firing at the target. Size determined by amount summoned. (more = smaller blades)
Scatter your chilly sharp blades! Ice!
Bolt- Creates a small black cloud up to five feet in a desired direction up and down included, which then fires a single bolt of magical electricity at a predetermined target.
Strip away the ground with glistening blades! Bolt!
Frog- A cloud of sand sprayed from the caster’s medium turns the foe into a frog (effects vary based on what the targeted RPer and/or what the gm thinks) (lasts 1 minutes).
Know, live, become a frog! Frog!

((What the hell happened to X's post?))

Sullivan was taking all sorts of damage. Though he would stomp on Chen's kneecap, for all his power the medium was surprisingly light. Dzan's chainsword had done a number on him, and half of the organs in his lower torso were scrapped. If Chen didn't watch his back, Tzen's cleaver would likely pierce both of them.

And then there was the simultaneous beer explosion and flash freeze. The heat licked one side of the room, scrap metal and plastics flying everywhere like shrapnel, even as Sullivan found himself (but probably not alone) encased in ice. The conflicting temperatures created cracks in his already over-stressed armor, and yet the white flames that floated around him remained.

Lazenca's following moves would tear Sullivan the hell up. His armor peeled away from him, flakes of flesh flew from his body like confetti, exposing bone underneath. When the ice collapsed on him, he was little more than a frame, the flesh completely wiped from his arms, the only bit of remaining armor a section of his helmet. A single, deadened eye rolled in the back of his head as he slumped to his knees.

And there he would remain, still and silent.

((lol I don't know how to really do this. But....))

Okay, Chen had him up, right after Sullivan took all that damage. (mainly cause the timing of these attacks are confusing, but for the sake of getting this on, I'll say the ice attack hit before he picks it up).

With him over the shoulder, he runs toward the portal with Sullivan, who had only a helmet left on his head, and was pretty skinny after all those combination attacks. Then there was a large sword swinging at him. How did he know? Cause he looked back to make sure that chain guy was behind him. Then a glance to the left, there was someone bringing her gun into preparation.

Damn, he was getting such bad luck. And then directly to his right, just as he passes this sitting machine, it explodes, bringing about force good enough to send Chen flying upwards through the air, diving through. The sword would probably be altered by the explosion and the shotgun blast would be off target since Chen was faster, especially with his flight through the air, and was higher off the ground. Lucky evasion.

With Sullivan in tow, eyes directed forward, Chen's body would go flying conveniently at the portal, and if nothing else, right through it.

The world turned as the breaths of the readers are held...

+++Thus, with Dzan's work done he'd look around. Chuckle a little bit and begin to run towards the portal. He wanted to get back out of this gakking place. It was going to be a rough run as he was going to get out of here. It seemed to be instinct. After something like this died it seemed bad s**t always gakking happened. He wouldn't wait for anyone as he'd dive for the portal to get out of the room.

((This doesn't make any sense. Just saying. Most of those attacks were made in response to Chen picking up Sullivan and running.))

If Chen did somehow run with Sullivan in tow, Sullivan's cold, lifeless arms fell off, clattering to the floor.

((Yeah, it was confusing. x_x I needed to know how everything was timed. Well, I can safely say that he will still be able to carry him with him, but I'm sure it's just a corpse now.))

The frog was lucky it managed to get to the portal once through it turned back into Bleu. He then made his way miraculously to to upper reaches of the dome There a Durem Helicopter was waiting over top with a ladder reaching all the way into the dome through a hole. Bleu grabbed the ladder and started to climb. In the helicopter Bleu looked over at the dead city. Hopefully he would be back someday to try and figure everything out. Now it was time for a nap.

((I gotta go. Goodbye guys! great event Opaj!))
