"Well, gotta save Bryant first, if he needs saving." Lah shot a grin over his shoulder at Aiolos before, all things allowing, he'd charge into the room where Bryant was, sliding to a stop there upon seeing the man.
"Hey! You alright?"

'Trying to grab onto anything and everything' had yielded a robozombie clamped to the plow, at least. He wasn't sure if others had managed anywhere else, but this one he could deal with. Caesar looked down over his steering wheel and across his hood, looking into the face of the robozombie. Looking into where it should have eyes. His own eyebrows knotted.
There was a 'big guy' inside, apparently connected with these folks. There were doors. There was a zombie making horrible metallic screams against his plow. "Stay braced."
And there was more RAMMING SPEED. Caesar twisted the truck into a wide arc, gunning the engine again up to dangerous speed. He took the vehicle to the edge of the palace's lowest floor, giving him the most room he could get before swinging back in a much tighter half-spin, actually burning some rubber in the process of making the tight turn.
When the truck had evened out, it was driving directly towards the shut throne room doors with no intent of letting a simple interior wall stop it.
"Open Sesame." [8]

Jacknife hopped out of the truck and followed the other two, shotgun in his right hand as he ran into the palace after them. He kind of awkwardly drew his sword in his left hand. It wouldn't be much good except to just beat something, but it could be a deterrent.
"Hey!" He shouted after them as he ran... Not quite as quickly as RAMMING SPEED!

OH s**t SON!!!
Flying robot zombies flew through the air and Hawk attempted to protect himself by slicing and dicing the ones that came at him. The few he couldn’t swing at he manage to dodge but he knew none of them would die unless he hacked into their skull. Unsure of how many were left outside (of the original 5?) Hawk would go on a rampage cutting through the domes of the remaining robot army hopfully as he felt his strength slowly leave him.

Slice and dice how? They were coming at him with claws and and stones. His hand would get very messed up as he'd try to slice and dice. Some even managing to throw them at the 'attackers'. Bryant sat calmly on the throne, barely even looking up as his 'boys' came in.
"They killed her. They have killed us all..."
And the door shattered, flying out in pieces as well as destroying a third of the wall of the palace itself with it.

"What...? Killed who?"
Lah was starting to sweat, even giving the temperature; starting to breathe as if he'd been jogging for fifteen minutes or so. It wasn't that bad yet, but it was getting worse, and that plus the feeling up his spine was making him think that this was a very bad place to be.
"The fields are up again, but... They're weird. C'mon, we need to get out of here before more s**t happens."

This was not the Bryant Aiolos had met. He came closer to the man and put his hands on the man's shoulders. He shook the man, trying to snap Bryant out of his fit.
"What the heck are you talking about? Who killed who?"
Aiolos heard the door shatter, he quickly turned back, took his concert flute from between his knife belts and played a quick tune to knock the lighter, higher debris sideways- away from the throne. He looked back at Bryant and continued with his constant shaking and myriad of questions.
"Are you alright? Did you find out anything? Are we still getting paid?"

"Not if we don't get out of here." Jacknife said, striding across the room. "Come on, we need to get the hell out of this city. Zombie shitstorm is going down, and that just sucks." He kept watch on the doors of the room as he walked across, hoping to hell and back that this room wasn't about to get flooded with zombies.
"We found out what happened to the people, they were mean metal zombie things that were returned to the shop for some maintenance. Now we've all got to get out of here alive."

Caesar swung the truck to another stop, not actually getting the vehicle to fully come to a rest until he was about a dozen feet into the throne room with the broad-side of the truck facing Bryant.
For a moment there had been a strong urge for Caesar to simply keep going straight and try to run over the man on the throne but speed was, temporarily, put aside for a measure of reason.
He would have to see how this situation played out-- as long as it played out quickly. The fields were starting to wear on him, even as he did nothing but drive. If it hadn't been, he would have cheered-- he was enjoying this.

"Oh ******** they were grouped as one and now they were weilding stones and tossing them at the hunter. One hit his right shoulder and the other hit his left first. The robo-zombies he had made contact with did indeed cut up his arms but it was worth smashing in their head, if possible, instead of sitting there doing nothing. Still unsure of how many were around Hawk knew he had to high tail it out of there, besides he was really feeling sick. Spreading his wings he ran back towards the Worker's Rest taking off into the air hoping he would get free from the robotic troups.

Several zombies (15) came out from behind the throne. Bryant looked up at Aiolos and Lah.
"They killed Azhralani. It was she who kept the Unity field up." He stood up slowly, his anger building anew at the idea of the only woman he loved being killed by a bunch of fools. If Aiolos wasn't at least 6'4'' he'd either have to let go of Bryant or he'd rise with him and be dangling by her feet.
And then he heard Jacknife's voice.
"THEY WERE PEOPLE YOU FOOL!" And as he lashed out, and everyone within sight of Bryant (Ceasar, Aiolos, Jaknife, and Lah) would find themselves under attack from the building itself as every loose stone in the place moved and flew towards the nearest target it could find, intent on smashing them to the ground or making them flee.

WHAM.
Debris caught Lah square in the chin, snapping his head back and leaving him to crumple to the floor, though he rolled with his own momentum and was kneeling again some three steps behind where he'd previously been standing. And not only was he angry at that, but he was confused as to what was going on. Not to mention, that thing that blasted him in the jaw wasn't the only piece of rock that hit him. He was hurting all over, and pissed off.
"Alright. You seem to know a hellova lot more than what we do, Bryant. What's going on here?"
His hands flicked down to his crossbows, noting the zombies behind his 'employer,' but they lifted again. Bryant just did something, or someone did something, but there were answers to be had, and he wasn't going to do anything to endanger his paycheck unless he had to. He had a daughter to support, after all.

OHSHI~!
Those rocks were coming!
And at RAMMING SPEED too!
Jacknife took a few steps backward to look at the incoming shitstorm of rocky death, then held his hands out to the sides, letting the shotgun fall to the floor and extending his palm as he held out the sword to his left. The marble in the sword gleamed with purple light, as did Jacknife's eyes.
Anything coming within ten feet of him would find itself being pushed lightly sideways, to the left from Jacknife's perspective. If it was being continually pushed it would probably end up winding around him in a massive circle of stony doom.

Caesar briefly considered bailing out of the vehicle, before realizing its roof would provide more protection than his hands. And so his prowess came into play again:
Caesar broke into reverse, and came back out neatly the same way he had come in. Once beyond that first wall, he'd throw the wheel hard in the opposite direction and change gears, pulling the truck to a stop just outside the gaping hole which replaced the throne room's doors, flush against its side.
Only then did he step out, and take careful cover at the side of that hole where he could reload his pistols while out of Bryant's line of sight and fire. This was not looking good. [6]

It didn't occur to Aiolos that the man was going to rise up and go batshit on everybody. It also didn't occur to Aiolos that he forgot to let go of the man's shoulders, and was now hanging on to what was now the endboss of this event.
The dramatic chain of events that was happening became a little less dramatic as Bryant stood up with a wiry musician hanging onto his shoulders like a large piece of mad fresh flesh bling. Aiolos looked back to see the stones running down the tower. All he could do was hang on. His grip was weak, with the anti-field on- but it was enough.
"I don' think he's in any mood to talk!" Aiolos yelled at Lah.
He took out a knife from his knife belt with a hand and took a stab at Bryant in the shoulder. Aiolos read that blood loss usually calmed a person down; He didn't think that talking was going to calm this beast.
At least the wound he inflicted wouldn't be fatal. Aiolos still wanted to get paid, after all. Okay, so stabbing the boss of this operation might cut the pay a little bit, but hey! Whatever.
If the knife hit, Aiolos would hang onto the hilt, the metal was a lot better hand hold than the raving man's shoulders.
