"A pleasure," nodded Faraday finaly catching up to Freeda. "Freeda, it's hard to have a conversation and walk around in cat form. Can I change back now?"
Freeda instead grabbed Faraday and put Faraday on her shoulder, "Now all you need to worry about is talking."
Faraday, instead of taking offence at her treatment, turned to Coal, "And what are you doing here, Mr. Coal?"

"I am here for I have no place to call my own. I am but a wanderer. So are there many Elementals? So far it didn't seem like it untill I came upon this fighting and Elementals everywhere. I can honestly say that I have never seen so many people with those powers before in my life." Coal looked around. He didn't actually know where he was, but found some sort of trust in these people and Elementals.

Faraday turned and widened her eyes, almost begging Freeda. Freeda, without turning her head, uttered the word, "No," and said nothing else.
Faraday looked back at Coal, "Sorry, but she's the boss."

Freeda flicked her eyes slihtly over to Coal and gave the slightest of nods. Faraday said out loud, "Wow I'm surprised that people are helping us a all. Especialy with Freeda's attitude."

Rashalga looked over at her all of a sudden and drifted in front of her, still keeping pace. "You need not be so bold. It is good that you try to protect, but those who surround you wish to protect you as well." Her voice soft as a summers breeze and as calm as the spring air.

An open, honest, emotion of innocence crossed Freeda's face before she set strate face back, "Anyone who's around me usually dies or gets hurt. I don't want their ghost haunting me for following me. That's all. If they follow me by choice and I didn't ask, then it's not my fault if they die." Even as she said the words it felt odd to lie about her feelings.
Faraday spoke, "Now that's just mean!"
